  1. I couldn't find a section that seemed right for this. You know that minor bug that has plagued Skyrim since it first released, where if you sit at a table, some objects will just bounce around or move all by themselves, and you didn't touch them? Well, a while back I found a mod on the Nexus that fixed that, by forcing the objects to sit still where they were at, and only would move if you tried to move them. I don't know how it works, but it's brilliant, and I wanted it again, but I can no longer find it. I don't remember what it's called. So I'm asking you guys, the community - if you know of this mod, and where it's at. I couldn't find a section in the forums for mod searches. Plus, I never use the website search box unless I'm certain it'll do the job because most of the time it doesn't find exactly what I search for, even if I know exactly what the name is, I usually use Google or DuckDuckGo.
  2. In response to post #19780789. That's really weird. Something else must be the problem because I too am Midwest US.
  3. Don't know what happened but the entire website was not accessible for a little bit. But glad it's all sorted out now. Before that happened though I had downloaded around 20 mods, no problems, no hiccups at all. Just wanted to let you know. The CDN obviously works well for me. In fact, I think I've stated before that the downloads are faster now, than they have ever been. Those around 20 or so mods that I downloaded, were so quick it gave me time to get up, walk to the kitchen, and pour a glass of milk and walk back. Which before I would not have been able to do, around 20 mods would have taken around 25-30 and sometimes 45 minutes because before it'd either fail or hangups for some odd reason. It no longer does any of that, and things are perfect with the downloads. I don't know if being a paid user of the site makes any 'major' differences or not, as I just don't understand numbers - but I'm happy with it, nothing to complain about. Thanks.
  4. I am from USA and have not even one problem. Everything downloads ridiculously fast. In fact, this beats the speed of downloading on a big download site that probably has tons more money than you guys do which is an amazing feat in itself. I don't know how or why, but I don't need to know. The CDN switch over was definitely a plus move for me, considering I can download so much faster and somehow the downloading can be done by the multiples. I mean, I can have around 20-40 downloads going at the same time, no stops, no problems - they all download fast too. That's a lot for me, because before I couldn't do any of that. Things are really moving along for this site and I'm glad I can see it change in positive ways. Can I give my opinion about the design of the site though? It's not a major thing of course, but some things just don't look very good in my opinion. For example; the "NEw NexusMods is unlocked - We now support files for all PC games" banner on the right - it's a bit blurry. I am really into design and I notice even fine details of a design, so maybe that's why it bugs me a bit. Nothing major though.
  5. I wonder why no body ever retextures the Imperial Sword in a decent way... they always retexture the shield, and armor - and there are great ones out there. But when you look for the sword, nothing compares. There is s*** on top of s*** out there for it. I suppose I'll have to retexture it myself. Requests get no where, so I can't ask someone to do it. Even if my hand is hurt, if I want it retextured I gotta do it myself...
  6. I report I've had no problems with the latest update at all. I did double check the install directory, and it chose the correct one by default. However, I have never tried the feature of being able to move the UI around any way I want. I'll have to try that out. Thanks.
  7. MORS OBITUS DECESSUS
  8. I have tried just that... and it doesn't do anything. But I tried it on another mod that had a similar problem in Wrye Bash, and it worked on that. Not sure what's up with that.
  9. If a man plays the fool then it's only fools he'll persuade but appear to be the devil... and all men will submit.
  10. Can't get enough of Villiany by Trivium, that's my favorite song on their new album. When I want motivation, songs like that is what I turn to -
  11. I will remain a keeper of the flame. I stand in this dark valley, and I will not be afraid. Through these trials I will stand. I will not be moved from my firm foundation.

  15. Sometimes imagespaces that are edited by mods like ELFX and using lighting mods that have anything at all to do with light sources, either adding, removing or tweaking them in anyway - can cause this because of incompatibilities and a lot of times mod authors miss the incompatibilities and the problems eventually spread and more and more people start to experience it, and other times depending on the mods - they don't. Skyrim is a tricky game because of the engine they use, and the fact that they rushed it to get it released on time because they were pressured by their parent company ZeniMax Studios in California. Either you can fiddle with INI settings, use mods that alter these sources and fiddle with their settings, or not use mods that do these things (or don't mod at all)... that's basically the best advice I can give. After a few years of modding, I find that there just doesn't seem to always be a solid way to fix any problem on Skyrim, because the engine is crap, and it was rushed - thus making the game bad without mods. It's great to have mods for it that enhance the game, as well as fix it - but at the end of the day it's still a crap game, and no matter what you do you're going to come across some kind of problem anymore. If you can accept that, and still mod it - then my guess is - solve the problems that bother you the most - and don't change anything else and if you crash sometimes, ignore it and just keep trying. Eventually I'll give up myself.. but for now I'm one of those people that will continue to try to solve problems until I just can't take it anymore and I blow up at it. Skyrim modding is that frustrating - it makes no difference how much knowledge you have of modding Skyrim, you'll still have these problems on and off the more you bother with it at all - because as I stated, it's a crap game yet we all love it because of the modding - not because of what it is - that's a fact or we wouldn't be modding it at all. I hope my biased opinions and or suggestions have helped, I hate to be negative but there is just no better way to put it that I can find in my mind. Happy new year, if you can have it.
  16. Well seems even thought the author had uploaded a fixed file to fix the problem, the problem isn't fixed and I don't even think he believes that the mod is at fault. But it clearly is if removing every mod I have, except for Enhanced Blood Textures, doesn't fix it - but then removing Enhanced Blood Textures, does fix it - then I'd say it is the mods fault. But there is nothing else I can replace it with, so I guess I'm going to have low quality blood in my game... only way I know to fix the problem. No one else has any helpful information, so I guess that's the way it is. This thread can be closed, because I'm not going to get any help anyway. I never do when I make posts like this.
  17. Yes, it is something I thought about then I before I posted this, I figured "What if he doesn't acknowledge me and figure out what is wrong, or worse yet... what if the problem isn't that mod - then what do I do?" so I came here and made the post in hopes to find solutions that might fix the problem. I have 1 other issue that was present before I even updated, but the game at least worked, and it was very minor issue - that was related to ENBs, but that's for another post to ask for help with.
  18. After I updated Enhanced Blood mod about literally 2 minutes ago, now when I try to run Skyrim - it crashes to desktop before the command prompt box can be open for more than a millisecond. So, I run BOSS to see if it notes any problems, it doesn't - then I run TES5Edit and it notes no problems, and everything loads up fine. So what is going on here? I'm at a loss. Oh forgot to mention there is also some fix esps with the ENB I'm using, that I didn't know came with it and didn't have activated before, and so I activated them before I ran the game. Not sure what that's going to do... they're suppose to fix weather problems with the ENB. I've tried more than I can think of to fix this problem, I don't know what else to do. That is why I am here, posting about it.
  19. Indeed that's the idea I'm going for. I'd love to see them use Sarena's AI package as a base, and then have it altered to be even more, and have quest aware features like the follower mod Odvar the Afflicted has, while also having custom voices for all NPCs, giving them some new lines, and being able to interact with eachother, and the world as a real human being would. Thus, if you stop by a carriage, and some bandits are near by and attack, they might have something unique to say, or they might talk to another NPC when they go by them. Kind of like what some NPCs do in the Interesting NPCs mod, but for every vanilla NPC and followers. If they all use the same AI package, it would be fantastic, instead of only having Sarena have a cool AI package, but still not 'that' interactive - which is why I said improve it. I think that'd be something that most of the community would love if not all of us in our entirety as a community.
  20. I can understand that, however - a modder that has really good skills at making really good hair - probably could duplicate it without using mrLenski's files to do it, and thus wouldn't need permission if that said modder had the skill, and was willing and able to make a matching body, all from scratch.
  21. It seems no body does this. Argonian don't have the problem and human/elves have already been fixed by other mods a thousand times over. Can someone please fix the ugly neck on Khajiit, and maybe even make a body texture that goes with Coverkhajiits (for real? The one that's available does not match at all and no body seems to care about Khajiits). Everywhere I look, I can't find a mod that fixes that ugly neck, and I also can't find a body texture that matches Coverkhajiits. Please don't reply with a link to the ones that are available that do have a TITLE that says it's meant for the Coverkhajiits faces... because they do not match or look good at all. If no one is willing to work on these then could someone please tell me how to fix it myself, so I could AT LEAST fix the neck? I am so tired of seeing it, even on NPCs that I'm not playing... Note that this ugly neck problem occurs on both male and female, it's just more noticeable on male.
  22. I love the Interesting NPCs mod and I use it in every playthrough of the game. I love follower mods that have interesting dialogue and especially the ones that have an opinion about the quest you're doing (e.g. Odvar the Afflicted) and I also like the AI package that Serana from Dawnguard uses. I was wondering if someone could use the AI package that Serana has, and the quest aware feature that Odvar has and create an entirely new AI package for every vanilla and DLC follower that you are able to have in the game, without dependency from other mods. I was also wondering if we could find voice actors to replace some of the voices in the game, so that we don't hear the same voices over and over. As you should know by now, Bethesda used the same voice actors. So a lot of characters in the game sound exactly the same, I would like for this to be changed if possible. If I have to, I will donate money to the project. We could finally make Skyrim more interesting than it's ever been with a project like this. Who is interested in taking on this project, anyone? Please let me know, contact me or something. I'll work with you on terms of what would make you not want to do it, and do my best to contribute to the project the best I can so we can actually do this project. This will be a big project, and I honestly believe that the community would love it and it'd be considered one of the most essential mods of all time for Skyrim. (maybe even make versions of it for the previous TES games too that are needed) Thanks for your time, and I really hope someone is interested in this. I would love to have this more than anything else.
  23. I too would like for this to happen. For now all there is, is Vanilla Hair Variety mod. Look it up, type in "Vanilla Hair" in the search on the site, it will show up. It has different hairstyles, but not many. The author of the mod basically remeshed some of the original hairstyles from the game and made them standalone, instead of replacers. He was working on more, but I don't know what happened as it's been a while since it's been updated last I checked.
