I had some major issues with some of the mods I was running and in the attempt to find the problems I managed to correct some of them. I had to reinstall Project Nevada and a few other mods. After getting the game to launch with no errors I found that somehow I have an issue with the sexual innuendo and the barter sequences. On the sexual innuendo problem after the dialog is finished and the sex act is supposed to begin absolutely nothing happens as if you never went through the dialog. The barter problem I found when I attempt to barter with Migel(sp) in the Pawn shop in Westside Pawn shop. As soon as I ask to see his list the game CTD every time I try. Also it seems as if all of the barter interactions are like this when you ask to see their inventory the game CTD. This happens with Old Lady Gibson as well. I had never had this problem in the past with barter but now I do and don't have any idea on why. I do have an error list made with FNVEdit that shows the EVE mod has issues but I can not find the way to resolve it. I will attempt to attach the file here that shows the errors;

project Nevada trouble
Redbeard007 replied to killbain's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
I had the same problem and found that if I used FOMM instead of NMM I was able to reinstall it with no problem. Hope this helps. -
I think I have solved this problem. I found that NVEC- enhanced content was improperly installed and also I had missed an update to the NVEC. Now all of the NVEC is up-to-date and is now working properly. Thanks for your time and effort.

Is there a way to find out which mod is doing this? If so, please provide the action(s) to fix this. Thanks

I am trying to find out what does this (look at screenshot). I am attempting to understand what does this if I can get the screenshot to upload. Sorry, the screenshot is too large. I will try to describe it here. After exiting Dr. Mitchell's house a table with a few items is located on the left side just inside of the fence. I am trying to understand why this large red diamond looking thing with a white exclamation point inside it is going through the table with the stuff on it. If anyone has an idea please let me know. The screenshot is 5.0mb and very much larger than 250k so I can not upload here.

I have looked through the mods that are being asked for regarding a dress to gift to Veronica and/or Willow but so far I have found none. I am requesting a mod that would add to the game two evening dresses that would be available to buy somewhere for a gift to Veronica and/or Willow. If there are already any mod(s) available please let me know. Thanks I have found a few mods that added dresses for Veronica and Willow and withdraw my request for more. Thanks to all folks that mod this and other games!

You do know that you can simply click on "items" at the top of the screen, the name of the vendor/container you are interacting with or the arrows next to them and it will cycle through the different categories, items/weapons/apparel/aid/misc/ammo, right? Thanks for the help. I did not know that.

After downloading that mod and trying it last night I find that it helps a bit but still I would like a more expansive display that has tabs at the top separating the various categories that is selectable during the trading or bartering interaction. So far I have not found any that would do that. In the meantime I will keep looking for such a mod. Thanks

I have downloaded the 'Inventory Sorters' mod and will try it out to see if that will help. Thanks
-
I find that the way the items are being displayed within the HUD menu need a way to have categories sorted and listed ie 'food', 'weapons', 'mods', 'ammo' and 'misc' so that the list shown is more user friendly such as in the "Skyrim" HUD interface. I am in hopes that the FONV community would support this type of mod so that when bartering with the merchants and vendors the items you would want to barter are sorted into the various categories that are selectable during the barter process. The current system is difficult because all items are grouped into one very long list that is difficult to keep track of when bartering. If this is at all possible I would like to see it modded to support the numerous components within this game. Thanks

I would like to know if it is possible for Misty when asked to play her guitar that she would play through her playlist continuously until told to stop. If this is possible please let me know. Thanks

After playing this game with all of the DLC I am left wondering if it is possible to have a totally different outcome at the end. Considering all of the possible endings, I am left with an idea that eliminates all of the power players/factions control to a free form ending where for example, the courier has full control of the Lucky 38 without Yes Man or House and has the full disclosure of the unseen areas and hidden areas within the Lucky 38 then outside in the strip all of the securitrons are replaced by a form of law enforcement team of human police governed by the Lucky 38. From there the various factions/casinos and tribes have nearly free reign over the areas they inhabit under laws that govern them. This is just an idea that leaves an endless list of possible outcomes for the future of New Vegas.

I now have all of the DLC and have played through all of it one time. My problem is the fact that the options given in the "Honest Hearts" DLC do not form a cohesive path. I found in several instances that the dialog choices do not allow for a link to the next quest. It seems the developers of this DLC left out some of the dialog choices that would allow for a more cohesive play to the next quest. I would like for someone to please make a patch or a mod that allows for a more cohesive play through the various quests within the "Honest Hearts" DLC. This DLC lacks the fluidity and cohesiveness to go from the end of one quest to the next quest allowing flowing game play. Thanks for any help here!

So far I have managed to complete a few of the quests in Honest Hearts DLC but now I am stuck with seemingly no where to turn. I think that I may be ready to start the quest "Crush the White Legs" but can not get the quest started by talking to Daniel. No choice come up in the dialog to initiate this quest. How do I make it start? If possible please supply the console commands to use to start this quest and also if I get stuck the console command to progress throough this quest please. I have attempted to talk to Daniel and Follows-Chalk both to go farther in this DLC but to no avail so far. I need help please. Thanks in advance for any help! I have finally found the information needed to complete this DLC but still is not clear as to why this quest series has no fluidity to bring the next quest in the series. It seems the developers of this quest series left out some of the connecting dialog from one quest in the series to the next. I am hopeful that in the future someone will build a patch for this quest series "Honest Hearts". Thanks all.

What Are The Top 25 MODS For FONV?
Redbeard007 replied to Redbeard007's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
I agree with this, but it takes a while to find them since they don't hit the list. I spend a fair amount of time looking for them. Here's a thread that someone put up where players named some. It's quite long and has good stuff in it. And I'd add this one to the list. It removes the PipBoy Glove. @DizzasterJuice - Thanks for the input. I have gone through the list and downloaded most of them but so far have installed only a few of them for now. Once again, ....... THANKS! -
I have just installed Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition and have played the vanilla game with none of the DLC in both normal-Master level and hardcore-Master level but now would like to know of the top 25 to 30 mods to add that would enhance the total game experience including the DLC that came with the Ultimate Edition. So, I have all of the DLC installed and just a few mods I had browsed that I thought would enhance the game but so far none have even come close to what I thought they should. For this reason I am here asking for a list of the best mods available that would not conflict with the NVSE enhancement I have installed now. All help here is appreciated. I wait for a reply now ...... Thanks in advance for all help!

I would still like to see Winterhold totally rebuilt from the ground up. After playing through this game several times I have always thought that a town or village that has experienced what Winterhold has that the best thing would be to rebuild. The town of Winterhold lost a major part when the 'great collapse' happened and even though it can not be proven definitively that the 'College of Winterhold' had something to do with the disaster. It seems that no one will ever know the true story behind the 'great collapse'. That said, I think if a totally new quest line or even several if it is done in stages could be developed to get Winterhold rebuilt.

I totally agree with this! The tag would help eliminate the mistaken download of a mod thought to be for the vanilla game but when installed crashes the game when started.

LE Mod Request.....Alchemy Multiple Effect(s)
Redbeard007 replied to Redbeard007's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Let's improve Skyrim! -
I only know of 1 other that would do that and it is; TESV ESS files editor - save game editor I can be found on the Skyrim Nexus
-
After playing this game through several times I miss the Alchemy set up from Morrowind and Oblivion that allows for four (4) ingredients to make potions that have multiple effects. This would apply to potions as well as poisons for a more powerful potion or poison. I hope others would want this type of MOD as well. This would be a vast improvement over what is available in the game at the present time.
-
It seems to me that this would ruin this game. Part of this game is the ability to enchant weapons and/or jewelry, armor and clothes with better enchantments as your skill in enchanting increases. As your skill in enchanting gets better the better your enchantments become and also more valuable when you make an enchanted items such as rings or necklaces to sell.
-
I like this idea. That said, I think that a mod that would support 4 ingredients while making a formula or potion like in Morrowind would also be very helpful when trying to create a multiple effect potion too.

What exactly are you actually wanting here? And aside from that, what exactly is this '35th Nightingale Mod'? What would you like to see here?

Whether or not the dragon crashes into the ground the Dragonrend 'shout' seems to me to be very weak. As soon as you use this shout and actually hit the dragon with it all that happens is that it keeps flying and sometimes flies away so far you don't have the time to chase after it. Also at at times this shout don't seem to work at all when the dragons keep flying away. If this was indeed a more powerful shout then when the dragon is contacted by this shout it should simply fall to the ground quickly. If this results in a crash is irrelevant but at least it is grounded so it can be killed.
