With CBBE you can use the presets or make your own style of body. You can also have the body either nude or with underwear. There are also lore friendly textures that can be used. UNP is a different female body type that many find more realistic and it now has a body slide mod to go with it. It is really a personal preference. I myself use CBBE but their are many that prefer UNP.

Getting a NPC to follow you with custom dialogue
rhowington replied to a topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
In CK under DialogueFavorGeneric/DialogueFavorGenericFavor It says at the top "Follow me I need your help" but when you open your NPC follower dialogue, under the Topic Text you will see Prompt and can add whatever you want the player to say. For instance at Prompt: you could write "You would make a great follower." The NPC could say, It would be my pleasure to accompany you. Then he would automatically start following. -
Mod beta testers wanted for new voiced mod
rhowington replied to rhowington's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Thanks to those who have responded. I will take a few more if interested. -
Need beta testers for a new mod. This mod brings back another throw away character and is fully voiced. If you are interested PM me.

Sometimes the author accidentally adds a update number to the change when he is managing the attributes of a mod. This makes NMM think there is an update. It is good practice to check these tabs for updates even if you find a few that are the same ones you already have. That symbol will stay there because the author's file is different than the one in the uploaded attributes.

You can try Multiple Skyrim Installations Manager it is still in Alpha so be sure to backup everything.

I have a ROG laptop with much the same specs (I7-3630QM, 12 Gigs of ram, and a 3gb GTX 670m) and can run any ENB with a 30+ frame rate at its lowest. I use RealVision and E ENB which are both heavy hitters when it comes to frame rates. I do use Optimizer to compress the textures. But my game play is very satisfactory. One of the main things about ENB's most want you to turn off antialiasing and anisotropic filtering in display control panel so be sure to do that. Now, all that being said, the best performance ENB is probably Performance and Quality ENB. You won't get all the eye candy but it doesn't hit your system as hard as others.

What are the spec's of your laptop?

In your Skyrim games folder in my documents, open your SkyrimPrefs.ini. Under [Display} should be the line: sD3DDevice="your graphics card" example (sD3DDevice="NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680") If your card is wrong simply change it to the one you want to use. then save the file and you should be good to go. Just to let you know, if you post in your native language as well as English you probably get a response easier to understand from someone that speaks the same language as yourself.

Are you making a standalone character or just a standard follower?

You can also use Archive.exe to make a .bsa. However, I personally use the method prod80 explained.

I am working on a new mod and may call upon you. Richard

You should remove the link to the outside site before you get banned. If you want input from here you need to upload the mod here.

All ENB's do not work, please help!
rhowington replied to dovahkiindragonborn314's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
What ENB are you using? Usually, the rays are put under textures in the data folder like data/textures/sky/sunglare.dds -
Don't take this harshly but, my first suggestion is to not Install and uninstall mods during a game except for an explicit purpose. That being said I would download Skyrim Save Cleaner and see if it helps. If you haven't already done so, add a SKSE folder to your data folder with a text file called SKSE.ini that contains [General] carriage return ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 which will gradually during play get rid of unused scripts. If your problems persist then starting a new game is probably your only recourse.

The mods use a wide range of enb's. Project ENB has several different choices. K ENB and BLEAK ENB-UNBLEAK ENB has a lot of users. My personal favorite is RealVision ENB . I use it for screenshots for my mods. It really comes down to taste and the scenery you want to enhance.

CTD - New Game - Few Mods - Please help
rhowington replied to SpykeJuggalo's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Did you uninstall the mods after you started a new game? It is obvious the game is looking for scripts to mods no longer implemented in the game. My suggestion is go back into the cave where you escaped Helgen and make a clean save and see if that helps. If not you might try starting another new game, if it still CDT's, you may have to do a new install to get rid of the wild scripts. -
You are probably asking too much of 7770 1gb using HighRez textures. Your processor is ok and so is your ram since Skyrim is a 32 bit game. Be sure to turn off antialiasing and anisotropic filtering. You can leave your Texture quality to high but, radial blur should be low, as should shadow detail and decal quality. Un-tic reflect sky if it is activated. With that you should be able to add some textures but keep them 1024 at the highest. Just be choosey about what you want. Hope this helps.

Creation Kit NPC Facial Textures Help
rhowington replied to LieutenantHawk's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Here is how to fix the read forehead problem you all seems to be having a problem with. Excerpted from this tutorial. Open CK, go to CharacterGen and do the following: Select FemaleUpperEyeSocket.dds Or MaleUpperEyeSocket.dds. Click full or head preview at bottom so you can see what it does and zoom into your face. Set Interpolation value to 0 and Click the preview again so u can see the change  click ok And the highlight the character again and press Ctrl + F4 click ok. Thanks to Amberleaf779 -
In CK under 'Factions" tab, right click in the Factions and Ranks block and select new. A pop up appears, type in follower in the search box and pick Current Follower Faction. it will automatically placed in the other box. Now the important part, there will be a 0 under Rank, that has to be changed to -1. Right click in the box again and pick Potential Follower Faction, nothing has to be changed. If you want him as a marriage candidate, right click in the box and add Potential Marriage Candidate On other thing you might have to do if you have already met him is either go back to a save before you met him is un-tick his esp and make a clean save, but not in the location he is going to appear in when you make his esp active again. Hope this helps.

moving skyrim from HDD to SSD without restarting a new game?
rhowington replied to savior99's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I don't understand what you mean by it is not the Steam version. Do you have a legal copy of the game? I have the Skyrim DVD purchased when the game first was released. It automatically contacted my Steam account. Using a cracked version will get you banned from this site. Now, to answer your question; all you have to do is uninstall your game from the hard drive and reinstall it ti the SSD. No saves will be lost unless you tell it to delete them during uninstallation. Make a backup just to be sure. You should probably move NMM over as well. BTW, simply installing to an SSD, may not show you any increase in frame rates or stability. All a SSD might improve your load times. Your graphics card and cpu really determines the quality of play. -
Un-tick the ones I have in bold and start another game and see if you get the same errors.

Can't get Skyrim hd 2k mod to work at all
rhowington replied to JonKragskow's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Be sure activate any esps. -
Thank you. I am working on getting a voice actress. Your quest stages sound right on and killing a Thalmor soldier to find a note is an excellent Idea. I will pm a few others about building a small cave or dungeon. Again, thanks for your help. I will get back to you when I get more of these things in line.
