When it comes to this both sides whine and cry about the electorial college. Makes me want to slap them all (both left and right wingers).

Oh boy, the first real gaming machine I had, pong! Then Intellivision..

The worst game I played last year, Battlefield 3. First off, the single player story-line, terrible. Second, gameplay, average, nothing special (to me on par with the Battlefield 1942, hard to actually change the gameplay of a FPS). Third, multiplayer, don't know, usually can't connect to the servers. And last, Origin, need I say anything else!

Sorry, but ignoring the quest isn't really a choice for me. I want choices once you're in the quest that actually determine the outcome of that quest and quests after that.
-
One thing I'd like to see is branches in the quest stories. The Civil War quest is the only one that I know of that really does this. But imagine where in the main quest when you break with either the Greybeards or the Blades the missions become seperate from the other. Both paths bring you to killing Alduin but the path to get there is different. An interesting thought is when joining one of the guilds help mend a power struggle, or be part of it, give a player a choice of two paths. You can only do one and if you want to do the others you need to play it again.
Or how about some random event where you save a town from a dragon. Next time you visit they've erected a statue of you fighting a dragon. They could add back in the fame rating, which could open up new items, or lower prices at certain merchants if you mention it. And as you gain fame there could be a few quests that come to you.
As for some other things, like the quest markers, I like it. That was the worst part of Morrowind, if you did too much you had to flip back through pages and pages to find what you should be doing for a certain quest. I did like Oblivion's map better than Skyrim's.
Overall, I love all three games.

I was disappointed in teh interactions between the DB and the NPCs as well. I mean you become Thane of a city and I think you might have some acknowledgement of the deed, but regular folks, nothing. You're Thane of the city, people should know that!

You would think with magic that they'd have a spell to keep clean.

I always play through at least once as an Imperial. Then I'll play as other races depending on my mood.
-
First time through I played as an Imperial, just didn't seem right to be part of the Stormcloaks. Next time I played a Nord and went with the Stormcloaks, first and only time I've done that. I just can't stand Ulfric Stormcloak. Despite everything, there is something satifisying about killing that character.

The one thing about science that sticks out the most for me comes from one of my Chemistry professors in college (he was also the dean). He told me while talking over lunch that he hated going to science conventions (which was part of his job). It confused me, as he loved science and all of its mysteries so I asked him why. He told me it wasn't the science, but the egos of the scientists he disliked. That is the biggest flaw of science, the scientist. They are human and they don't like to be told they are wrong or questioned (despite what they say) especially something they hold very dear to them. If you actually look at the history of science it takes a while for others to adapt to new ideas espeically if that idea conflicts with another, more widely held, idea.

Every time without fail, she would die in Smugglers Den in the watery passage leading up to the Alikr. She'd just get in the way of my arrows or any mass effects I might try to use...
Now, I don't use followers. They just get in the way.
That's where she died for me, usually stepping in front of me as I swung my sword.

Honestly I don't mind them, but I also don't download them all. I do like seeing what other people have done though.
-
I don't worry about it. If it happens, well, there is nothing I can do about it except hope I die quickly and painlessly. That said, I think I'll go play Skyrim for a while.

At least Steam hasn't made me want to stop playing a game yet, like Origin has with BF3. I will admit I never liked the idea that I have to connect to the internet to play a game (that wasn't an online game).

I have a confession about MMOs. I enjoy having my toon a girl. Why? Its funny having others trying to hit on her (I almost never look at the chats). As a result I never assume a person's real gender based on their toon, nor do I care and realistically, I doubt anyone actually looks liek their toon.
A friend of mine plays this way. If he's playing in first person, guy character. If playing in third person, girl. Makes sense to me.
-
The whole comment that if you play girls your gay strikes me as funny. If one thinks about it, if you play as a girl your watching a girl run around on your screen, but if you play a guy then your watching a guy run around your screen.

I give it a maybe. At the moment I'm not going to buy it but there is always a possibilty that in the future I might. Right now my game runs fine, I have the mods I want up and running and have yet to read something in it that I want.
-
The one thiing I love about TES games is the ability to mod it and usually the storyline. I've played a few online games, Star Trek and Star Wars, and while fun, I keep coming back to off-line games like this one to mod and have fun. I don't see myself playing TES online.

Thinking about this it seems like it would be good to win. However most people will lose somewhere and at some time. Many people who have become successful have lost at one tim eor anotehr. They took that loss and learned from it.

Here is a link debunking the FEMA camp conspiracy - Not that I expect people who subscribe to stuff like that to accept reality over fantasy. http://www.popularme...ry/news/4312850
How dare you bring reality into conspiracy talks. :D

I hope not. All it takes then to get into trouble is a perceived insult, twisting of words, or a mispelling and you could be in trouble. You see in forums all the time, someone writes one thing and someone else thinks they are being insulted.

Honestly I see little changing if Romney is elected. Seriously, if Romney said he wanted to raise taxes on the middle class it takes congress to do that (see current battle of letting the Bush tax cuts expire or extend them).

Whenever this topic comes up with people I know I bring this up and how conspiricies have truth but twisted that truth.
Let's ban dihydrogen monoxide: Why?
It kills hundreds (perhaps thousands) each year.
Causes billions in properity damage.
A major component of acid rain
Prolonged exposure to its solid form causes tissue damage.
Used as a coolant in nuclear power plants.
Used as a spray on fire suppressant or retardant.
Used as an additive to baby foods and forumlas.
Now everything I said is completely true and I've even convinced more than one friend to want to ban dihydrogen monoxide. I did leave out one very important piece of information. Dihydrogen monoxide can also be called, DHMO H2O1, or H2O, or by the common name water. Water does kill, floods drownings etc. Flooding causes termendous amount of properity damage each year. Without water you wouldn't have acid rain. Frostbite. It is used to cool nuclear reactors, put out fires and we do put it in baby foods.
This is a good example of twisting a truth to fit your view. Does it mean the conspiricy as a whole is truthful, probably not. But individual arguements are probably twisted truths.

I recently pulled this game back out. Sadly it was more fun than BF3.
