  1. I can see how the keyword method could definitely help with creating an actual MCM, but I kinda agree with Elty... It's a better solution than not having any sort of situation but god can I not wait for an MCM.
  2. I'm trying to make a mod that swaps genders by swapping all of the gender-specific items. Males get female stuff, females get male stuff, everyone's happy. Issue being, I'm trying to swap which gender gets which gender-specific armor, to theoretically make it as friendly with custom armor mods as possible. Issue being the DLC armor addons. They're not in the textures*.bsa that the base-game ones are in so they have me at a bit of a loss.
  3. Which is... probably a bit better than the explosions to be fair but hn...
  4. They are. There's several mods that add them for stock Skyrim. And you can't remove the explosion because the explosion is what gives them their anti-undead damage boost, since there's no way to directly apply an enchantment to arrows even in the CK or scripts. What I'm trying to do is apply a script instead to the bows or possibly player that will apply the perk that gives that damage when you have the right kind of arrow or weapon type equipped.
  5. Could I get a copy of that script? And permission to use a modified version (I only need to check for one type of arrow) in my mod?
  6. Alright, so I'm kinda terrible at scripting, always have been and have tried to learn it in multiple languages multiple times. My brain just doesn't want to absorb that information for anything. I get some of the concepts but for actually putting it down so it functions correctly... that's beyond me. And that's where I need someone's help. I need a conditional script that checks the type of arrow you have loaded and if it's a specific one, applies an enchantment/perk. It's for silver arrows, so I can do away with the silly explosion that makes them act wonky in comparison to normal arrows.
  7. how... how... just... how is that a thing that causes so many crashes?
  8. Joy. /sarcasm In all honesty I kinda figured, it *is* a Bethesda software afterall.
  9. Is there *any* way to make the CK less crashy? I was trying to fix something I'd realized I'd forgotten in a custom race, changing the presets to actually point at the race and not the one I cloned them from, and hitting t twice in the dropdown for race crashed it, so I tried again, another insta-crash. I was infinitely happy I'd just gotten done testing something (so had saved extremely recently) but still... Is there something I can do to make it crash less?
  10. If you haven't found out, you click on the part (in this case mouth) in the additional headparts, click on the part above that corresponds (in this case face) and then hit the delete key.
  11. Could I get a link to a tutorial for doing that or?
  12. Looking to incorporate silver arrows into a mod for Skyrim and SE, need at least textures, can use the steelarrow.nif if necessary. Anyone who has textures or a new .nif and textures and is willing to let me use it for a crafting mod I'd appreciate it greatly.

  14. Trying to make an addon for a mod I have that modifies the smelter's recipes that another mod gives me but I can't seem to get the form ids to match so the addon that's supposed to replace some of the recipes just adds new ones. Can't figure out why it's being so difficult. I pull up the mod I'm making the addon for as a resource for the addon mod, edit the required pieces, which in CK have the same form IDs as the old ones, but in SSEEdit they don't and the addon isn't overwriting anything. Edit: Nevermind. While I'd still like to know if it's possible to actively go into and edit the form IDs, I no longer *need* to for the above reasons.
  15. Something that is endlessly annoying to me is that for some reason, the pc is incapable of jumping while casting magic (or holding an arrow in the ready to fire position, but that's slightly more understandable). You can't prep a fireball, heal, etc and jump over a small ledge if you're trying to stay away from someone and it's just annoying. I mean, it's annoying enough when I'm using novice magic and have to stop casting for half a second so I can jump over the damn ledge but when I have to deliberately stop myself from casting firebolt so I can jump and then resume casting it that takes a lot more time and is way more annoying.
  16. ... You want Jarvis... I cannot find a cause to argue against this for...
  17. So there are a couple autosave managers for Fallout already on the nexus, literally two so far actually, but both just use the previous autosave feature that's already in the game, which we all know can eventually after a bunch of overwrites cause save corruption which... sucks. Instead, I'm looking for one which pulls the same kind of autosaving as a certain skyrim autosave manager. Which gives us both autosaving as manual-saving and a lot of customization.
  18. I would say that considering Ulysses' words that there ARE no innocents in the divide. Only Tunnellers, Marked Men, and Deathclaws. The tunnellers you should never feel bad for killing namely because they'd kill you if they had the chance. Marked men are insane, twisted, pale imitations of what they used to be. Deathclaws, the bane of many a quarry worker in the mojave. While sure, it's fully POSSIBLE that launching the ICBM could have blown up something a lot more important, like the Hoover Dam. The courier had no way of knowing what was about to happen seeing as the last time we triggered that it didn't actually launch the ICBM back in Hopeville. I'm definetly not the only one who goes "Oh s***." when the ICBM launches. And If i'd have been capable of moving at the time I was trying to pull my laser detonator out to blow it early.
  19. So, Talked to Mick and asked him to see his... alternate inventory and then i decided to see if there was any thing i could reach through the cell door. Low and behold there is, i can reach some sexy nightwear and I think a pair of binocs. Surely we could put a mod in that would make all of the weapons visible on the wall to actually be there and takeable?
  20. Ah, I apologize for my mistake. 9mm Pistols aren't my specialty. I was just irritated because it looks a lot like a 1911.
  21. The first time I opened Fallout New Vegas and pulled out the 9mm pistol I found myself... irritated. I'm a pretty big gun nut and I've never seen a Nine that looks anything like that. Plus, in game it always reminds me of the 1911 Colt and that added to my irritation. So I'm asking any person who can do a re-skinning of the 9mm pistol to look like... I don't know. a Glock? or an M9? Both look VERY different.
  22. Someone would have to write up a lot of Stig-isms to work into dialogue.
  23. I just can't get any of my songs to play at all, I just keep hearing the same old tracks. I followed all directions, I even moved the generated esp from Sound to Data and still nothing. There's even this weird second Data folder inside the main Data folder which has all of ExtendedNVRadio's folders in it, including a second copy of all my songs. I don't know where it went wrong and I need help.
  24. I've seen a couple Character Planners in the mod list but to my knowledge no one has made anything that took that one step further and turned it into an automater. By that I mean you plan your character out ahead of time. Possibly down to where skill points get placed at what level, modifiable if you discover a need to do so. Auto-perk selection. Basically all the things you do everytime you level up get automated so you don't have to do it after the original plan. I'm not a coder so I'm not entirely sure this is completely possible but I figured it couldn't hurt to suggest it.
  25. Well, that sucks. I mean, I get that it's a major undertaking to insert code into a game that tells it there should be a LAN menu and multiplayer but still... Thanks for answering my question.
