  1. Holy bejesus poop of a deathclaw...where have you been my whole life!?! Worked like a champ. Thank you for this! Like many others I was at the mercy of waiting for the fine folks at silverlock to update all because a new collar for Dogmeat was released via the creation club and a whole new exe was needed to be released. Also made a copy of my F4.exe for future reference. Thanks again for your time and contribution. PS - EDIT - After playing with the rollback for a bit, no issues on my end other than a mod that allows for quicksaving in survival didn't seem to work. But exit saves and sleep saves seemed to work just fine. Haven't tried re-installing said mod yet. Also reading others comments from 2018, I haven't experienced any issues yet with visuals, performance, corrupt saves, etc. And I'm running 300+ mods, plus ENB. I think this latest update as of 3/13/2019 was really minor, just 2 creation club adds, no 'performance and stability' improvements that would have deeper hooks...and problems. I just hope Steam doesn't keep trying to update to the latest-and-greatest
  2. Sorry about this, I felt this frustration myself all this weekend when my precious cracks of time to update a mod, check out a new mod, install a new mod, etc were compromised. HOW FRUSTRATING! Trolls initiating these bot attacks need a better sex life, or just NEED A LIFE in general... P.S. Yes I have Windows Defender, Windows Firewall, Spybot, other anti-virus measures, and measures with my router and network to prevent compromising my system. I've been 'infected' before and rest assured it ain't fun...

For some strange reason, my character model is not visible in 3rd person (including using the blacksmith, enchanting, etc)..Also my hands aren't visible in 1st person...i get a plain white mesh instead of my armer, etc. I tried redoing my character with showracemenu, changing equipment, etc to no avail. Any thoughts?

  5. I don't think I'm asking for much...Is there a mod out there that allows you to continue to at least interact with the Dawnguard after you finished this questline? Frankly, I felt kinda cheated after completing this questline...sure Ariels Bow is nice, Serena's Mom's little flower garden is nice...but after returning to fort dawnguard, Surene, Gunmar, Isran, that dorky Arkay priest dude, etc no longer will sell to you, offer you training, etc. So for completing the questline, you loose out on 3 traders, 3 master trainers, no more pet trolls, etc....it's like they almost want you to just GO AWAY. Thanks a lot...glad I could help guys...you're welcome. Is there a mod out there that at least allows me to continue to do business? I suppose I can tinker with the CK to remove NPC parameters so they can still sell, but that'd be like a landscaper doing brain surgery.... Thanks
  6. Come on modding rock stars, this is just screaming for some love! Solitude docks got some great TLC, Raven Rock got some, Windhelm may have even got some....so is there any plans to buff of Riften's docks? These docks are sparse and only full of fish and a few straggling Argonians. There is SO MUCH potential here to make it like a Baldurs Gate II docks, or even like Anvil's docks or the Imperial Cities docks in Oblivion. Shops, salty dive bars, crafting, troublemaking, plundering, shady warehouses with shady debauchery....what do you say?

I liked the new "stars constellation" skill screen in Skyrim, however the old-school side of me is clamoring for a consolidated character screen to pull up instead that shows a picture of your fully-clad dragonborn, along with relevant stats, inventory, etc. Something like this http://www.overclock.net/t/884122/post-your-characters or http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/5120/morrowindcharacter.jpg Even if the screen you pull up is a landing page that links to-opens up the separate skills windows, inventory windows,etc. I couldn't find anything available. Would this be possible using some SKYUI and/or scripting voodoo magic?

Unless I missed something, when I completed the Dawnguard side of Dawnguard after taking down Harkon, basically there was no reason to revisit Fort Dawnguard, other than a radiant quest to take down another "traveler." Everyone just gives you a pat on the back and doesn't offer any further dialogue options, and as such you loose out on several vendors (Gunmar, Sorine, Florentious, etc) to buy and sell, and a couple of master trainers (Isran for Heavy, Sorine for Archery.) Even Isran is still in denial that we "won." Is this by design? Are there plug-ins that at least allow you to continue to do trade and train after completing this side of the quest? Does the unofficial dawnguard patch address this? I didn't see this in the UDGP release notes, and was leery of just installing due to a heavy number of plugins I already have installed.
  9. Just wanted to say THANK YOU for this thread, and most of all, the fixes. I was racking my brains out last night and this AM as to why I couldn't leave or exit Markarth. I tried everything, COC to exterior cells, various mods disabled, TESEdit, save game cleaner, old saves, etc...and nothing. Then I Googled "Markarth can't exit" and came across this thread. Sure enough I'm a Flora Overhaul user. I haven't downloaded the hotfix yet, but I adjusted my INI [Maps] uLockedObjectMapLOD=8 uLockedTerrainLOD=16 And deleted the treeslod in my skyrim directory. And I FINALLY escaped Markarth!!!!! Thank you again.
  10. SKSE is up to date. The last version of Skyrim is 1.8.151.0.7 ---------> http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Patch I am pretty sure you have some mod conflicts because I have all DLCs and they work fine with SKSE. Thanks, I think you're right. Either than or a recent Win 8 upgrade is also involved. After upgrading to Win 8, I need to launch SKSE as "administrator" instead of just launching the skselauncher normally. Nothing definitive, but snooping around on the net found others experiencing similar issues, and of course, others not. I'm actually able to play the game fine without SKSE launching the game (via steam)...SKYUI still works as far as a front-facing UI (the repositioning and toggle keys are disabled,) Wet & Cold says most features are disabled, The in-game Mod Manager is disabled, and others I haven't seen any noticeable changes...yet. And it plays stable-as-can-be. So at least I know it's SKSE and/or a mod...so the hunt begins. I really love all the added functionality that SKSE brings with some of these killer mods, so it'll be worth it to investigate. Thanks again for the replies.

  12. I did make an effort to search on this before posting, though my apologies in advance if this was covered somewhere else. Is anybody else using the latest version of SKSE, 1.6.6 dated October 2012 according to www.skse.silverlock.org with Dragonborn ? My game was running fine until the Skyrim was updated to accommodate Dragonborn. Now I get some nasty behavior like sudden CTD's, erratic loading behavior, and corrupted save games. This doesn't happen when I load without SKSE, however I utilize several SKSE dependent mods that don't play very well (if at all) unless SKSE launches the game. Historically when a new update of Skyrim is released, a new version of SKSE is needed. I remember the SKSE team needed to update their app previously for Dawnguard/Hearthfire. I don't want to bug them yet if there's a new version out since Dragonborn's only been out a week and they ask on their site "to be patient" for a new update. Any feedback / fixes from existing users ? I've re-installed SKSE, I've used script extenders since Morrowind, so I'm familiar with the install process.
  13. So far a few hours into the DLC, I'm (overall) happy with my Dragonborn purchase. It's a heavy dose of Morrowind/Bloodmoon nostalgia mixed with Skyrim present, everything from the environments, actors, and locations obviously, to the Morrowind music that's included. Visually though...I eagerly look forward though to modders updating the textures, as they are a bit of a low-res eyesore in Dragonborn, especially when you've grown accustomed to your highly modded/tweaked Skyrim gaming experience.
  14. Yeah I noticed that too about the low-res textures and was about to post my own rant about it. The modders responsible for Skyrim 2k, SkyrimHD, SIMM, Hectoral Caves, Flora, Lighting, etc...need to all GET BUSY ASAP with their Dragonborn updates!!! :dance: And no disrespect meant towards the Bethdesa artists, and in all fairness it's not practical for them to release ultra high-res textures in the vanilla game to the masses. Most wouldn't be able to run. And they did throw in some cool new effects like waves crashing on the shore (which I'm sure modders will take to the next level.) But man, after playing my tweaked and modded Skyrim game with all the top graphic and lighting mods and tweaks, Dragonborn looks very sparse and even dated. Almost a little too much (literally) like Morrowind. Oh well, things will only get better.
  15. THANK YOU for this update, and for all of your diligence and dedication. Looking forward to putting these dark times behind us. The constant log in log out of NMM was annoying, but "deal-with-able." Not being able to download the latest Skyrim Monster Mod put me into a perpetual state of sadness :(((( Cheers to bigger and better things to come.
