  1. Keep in mind I don't care if they are selling my data, not hiding my info, or whatever other reason. I just want to get rid of the speed limit. If a free one will do that then I will go free.
  2. Do you know where one could report that for comcast? Is there a free VPN you would recommend?
  3. USA, Montana. Spectrum/Charter/Comcast (Not sure since the name changes depending on what your looking at.) All Test files fail to download except the CDN. CDN speed is ~500KB/s. Actually downloading from the three USA locations works fine. LA and Miami are ~500KB/s and Chicago is ~650KB/s https://nexus-speedtest.b-cdn.net/500MB.bin https://chicago-premium.nexus-cdn.com/1151/25714/Vivid%20Fallout%20-%20All%20in%20One%20-%20Best%20Choice-25714-1-3.7z?md5=nqTeMyF2EHQenAX_IShPwA&expires=1658279278&user_id=4743309&rip=69.145.110.252 Trace route to files.nexus-cdn.com 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.1.1 2 * * * Request timed out. 3 9 ms 9 ms 20 ms lag-62.hlnamt8901h.netops.charter.com [69.144.94.225] 4 11 ms 9 ms 9 ms lag-26.crr01msslmt.netops.charter.com [69.144.26.222] 5 26 ms 26 ms 26 ms lag-23.dnvtco56zp0.netops.charter.com [69.146.123.14] 6 42 ms 43 ms 41 ms lag-11.msslmt33zp0.netops.charter.com [69.146.190.103] 7 56 ms 55 ms 48 ms lag-702.bbr02sttlwa.netops.charter.com [69.144.130.200] 8 76 ms 76 ms 76 ms lag-802.prr01sttlwa.netops.charter.com [96.34.3.39] 9 49 ms 50 ms 48 ms be-205-pe01.seattle.wa.ibone.comcast.net [23.30.207.69] 10 49 ms 50 ms 50 ms be-2301-cs03.seattle.wa.ibone.comcast.net [96.110.39.225] 11 77 ms 76 ms 76 ms be-1311-cr11.seattle.wa.ibone.comcast.net [96.110.47.202] 12 64 ms 63 ms 63 ms be-301-cr11.champa.co.ibone.comcast.net [96.110.36.209] 13 67 ms * 66 ms be-1411-cs04.champa.co.ibone.comcast.net [96.110.37.205] 14 * * * Request timed out. 15 * * * Request timed out. 16 64 ms 63 ms * be-1413-cs04.1601milehigh.co.ibone.comcast.net [96.110.39.109] 17 67 ms 66 ms 66 ms be-1412-cr12.1601milehigh.co.ibone.comcast.net [96.110.39.94] 18 80 ms 79 ms 79 ms be-303-cr12.dallas.tx.ibone.comcast.net [96.110.38.106] 19 79 ms 79 ms 79 ms be-1412-cs04.dallas.tx.ibone.comcast.net [68.86.166.125] 20 79 ms 80 ms 79 ms be-1411-cr11.dallas.tx.ibone.comcast.net [68.86.166.122] 21 81 ms 82 ms 81 ms be-302-cr11.houston.tx.ibone.comcast.net [96.110.36.173] 22 84 ms 84 ms 83 ms be-1211-cs02.houston.tx.ibone.comcast.net [96.110.46.113] 23 82 ms 83 ms 82 ms be-1214-cr14.houston.tx.ibone.comcast.net [96.110.46.126] 24 107 ms 108 ms 108 ms be-301-cr11.miami.fl.ibone.comcast.net [96.110.39.234] 25 107 ms 105 ms 105 ms be-1211-cs02.miami.fl.ibone.comcast.net [96.110.44.173] 26 105 ms 106 ms 104 ms be-3211-pe11.nota.fl.ibone.comcast.net [96.110.33.150] 27 115 ms 114 ms 114 ms 50.248.116.234 28 113 ms 112 ms 113 ms vl201.mia-cl2-dist-1.cdn77.com [185.156.45.241] 29 114 ms 114 ms 115 ms unn-84-17-40-58.cdn77.com [84.17.40.58] Last month downloads were fine close to 10MB/s. I have replaced my modem and router since this issue started and the speeds were unaffected.
  4. Okay. I'll do that. Shame I can't seem to find a quick and easy method to correct the issue. Thanks for the help kitcat81.
  5. The files shouldn't be corrupt as I downloaded them from steam about 3 days before I made this post. I have also ran the steam cache check but it gave an all clear. It used to be a very common bug but it was fixed for a good chunk of people. Sadly there are still people encountering it.
  6. Well as I stated earlier I'm not using any texture mods at this time. The problem textures are the base games textures. The source was found to be mismatched mip maps. Basically the game engine is pulling the wrong parts of the texture to mip to the surface. I doubt my PC isn't powerful enough. I have an RX 480 (4Gb model) i7 4790k and 12 Gb of ram. I tested without ENBoost and it worked for a while (About 30 minutes) but came back.
  7. The textures in question are the vanilla ones. Modded textures have yet to produce this bug for me but most texture packs contain less than half the game. Sadly it still does exist albeit not as bad as it was in patch 1.3. After that patch I couldn't hardly play the game due to anything further than 6 meters in front of me turning into a rainbow mess. They had a patch that "fixed" it but it only made it less of an issue for me. While I haven't tested a vanilla setup recently I did use one (With the bug still present) about 4-5 months ago. I'm starting to wonder if ENBoost may be the cause as that's one thing I've always used without question since it helps FalloutNV so much. I'll be testing that and get back with any updates.
  8. I've been searching around for a few hours now for any solutions to the Ba2 texture corruption issue that plagues Fallout 4. So far I have found the massive number of posts complaining about it but with no fix. (Just the unpack everything workaround that is honestly worse than the texture corruption.) Most of the posts are really old so I have a feeling something useful was drowned in the overflow. Was there ever a definitive fix for the texture corruption? For those who are unaware of the problem somehow here is a imgur album with what you lucky few don't have to deal with: https://imgur.com/a/CgNCM
  9. Sorry to necro this post but I have a question for you. Did you just remove the mod and then talk to her? Or did you load a save before you picked up the note?
  10. Is there a place where someone could see the plans for it? Like what features it hopes to support? I haven't been able to really get an idea of what Vortex is going to aim for. I realize that its hard to guarantee specific features and what not but my curiosity is peaking. Anyways thanks for the work and lets hope we get a mod manager that surpasses both NMM and MO.
  11. Ok so I got it working... It was apparently my smaa injector causing the graphics pipeline to crash without crashes the main thread... Switched to SGSSAA and i'm back in the world of fallout. See you guys in 30 years...
  12. So when I enter the east pump station (Near the NCR Sharecropper's Farm) I get a black screen with the ambient noise playing and metal banging around. I have only two mods that are changing that area and they are: Y.U.P. (Can't pronounce the name), and Factions Reloaded, Raider's. Unfortunately even if I remove these mods it still has the bug. Here's my load order. Thanks in advance for any help!
  13. I'm gonna necro this thread just so people who get here from the search "SMAA skyrim text" as the first link get an answer to this question. (Its how I got here looking for a slightly better solution) Use Inject SMAA for "Slightly" better results on ULTRA. SweetFX doesn't quite have the same preset settings for ultra leading to text getting blurred more. Also, ALL, and I mean ALL injector style AA solutions will do that to text as they are used almost like an overlay that processes the image after everything has been rendered while more standard methods such as MSAA or Multi Sample Anti-Aliasing is done before the UI and various text items are added to the frame.
  14. So I just started my new game with a whole bunch of mods and everything worked great except one animation for using the healing spell is very broken. I think its related to a mod editing the skeleton.nif but I have had no luck reinstalling any that do that. Here's my load order: I have used LOOT to sort my mods but not done any TES5EDIT stuff yet. I have also verified steam cache files for skyrim to try and fix it with no luck. Thanks in advance for any help with fixing this! EDIT: I solved the problem. Apparently there was a enhanced camera mod that was using the wrong fov setting from what I had the main game set to.
  15. So I found this: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/16150/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout3%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D16150%26preview%3D&pUp=1 I was curious if it would be possible to strip it down to just adding the CALIBR ammo buying. I have been doing another playthrough of Fo3 and I have FOOK2. (Don't really care for wanderer's edition.) And the issue is that there is none to be found like this for FOOK2. If anybody knows of one that adds a CALIBR ammo buying system please link me to it or if possible try and make one. I would greatly appreciate it and I wouldn't think adding a few registries would be too hard. (I just am unfamiliar with GECK.) Thanks in advance. `Supadoom
