  1. Have you done Nuka world? And if so, did you use a mod/use TFC 1 or similarly, during the end phase of the Hubologist questline?
  2. Hey there! So, I had spent a ton of time building a settlement at Covenant, after tearing everything down. Everything was going great, except happiness kept falling. It continued to decline despite having plenty of food, a shop, water and happiness increasing decor. As happiness fell to 10, i went down to the workshop, and it promptly fell through the ground and disappeared into the nether (or wherever else lost workshops go). Do I -really- have to load a save way back before I had decently built the entire settlement, or is there a way to fix it?
  3. I'd have a look through the Backbreaker mod (located here) It has similar features to what you're looking for, and it may give you an idea as to how :)
  4. Hey guys, gals and (you thought I'd say legionnaires didn't you?) you. :) I've been a mod user for many, many years and I'd like to actually start learning more about the process of making mods. The areas I'm interested in are: Settlement buildings. Specifically things to tie in to Horizon's Architect systemMaking compatibility mods. Again, specifically to make stuff work well with Horizon.I realise there's a steep learning curve to these things, but I'm more than willing to put some effort into it. I've enjoyed mods for so long, it'd be great to be able to give something back, after all these years :) Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance! // Lars
  5. I even used IoBits' uninstaller to remove it entirely from my pc, reinstalled it, and still have the same problem :S
  6. Hey all! Wasn't sure where to place this, as the utility is no longer maintained because of Vortex development. So yeah, title sort of says it all. I can't click any plugin in the "plugins" tab, and move them up nor down the list. And I can't quite figure out why. I'm using the NMM version posted in the "ESL support for NMM" mod located here I'm using the Pipboy camo, decoration pack, power armor camo, and modular backpack from Creation Club. Any ideas, lads and lasses? :)
  7. What he means is, you need to use xEdit to alter the the menus. There are quite a few guides for this, although I never did it myself, because I'm mostly lazy :P
  8. Hello, folks! So, I have a save that keeps breaking. I've looked at FallRimTools, and the author mentions that unattached instances are part of the way Fallout 4 operates. My question is; What dangers are there in removing those? Won't most of the scripts realign once I've played for a while?
  9. Hey folks! So, I'm using Horizon with -a lot- of compatibility patches (particularly for weapons). So, my question is: Are all the patches really (in my own personal load order) necessary, or can I copy/deep copy the patch contents into the existing ESP, without issues? Thanks in advance! // Lars To give an example. I have Remote Explosives installed alongside the associated Horizon patch. Loading these two up in xEdit, I can see the Horizon patch for it has edits under two categories. These are: "Constructible Object" "Weapon" Now, deep copy (as override) will make RemoteExplosives.esp dependent on Z_Horizon.esp. When that is saved, it should be safe to remove the Remote Explosives Horizon patch, right?
  10. Hey there everyone! So, lately I've been using Mator Smash (download here, quickstart here) for general compatibility, but I'm not sure it's working right. When I download the tool, the folder for Fallout 4 is empty, so I copied the settings from SkyrimSE over to the F4 folder. This is probably not ideal, but it's the best way I've found to make it work. Do any of you have any experience with this tool, or is everyone still using xEdit Merged Patches together with a Bashed Patch, for Fallout 4?
  11. Hey, folks :) Just logged on to Steam when I got home, and F4 shows as "update required". I cannot, however, find any info on any client updates anywhere. Am I missing something, and is it safe to update?
  12. Hey'o, there! So, I've been running a playthrough, and everything's been working fine. Then one day, I boot up the game to find some strange textures problems on many of the items. (pictures in the link below. Ss you can see by one of the images of a building, some textures are working fine, while others are pixelated.) https://imgur.com/a/SpUbn I'm not 100% sure if it's textures, since the Wasteland Walls (one of EvilViking13's mods) work if I look at them from a certain angle, as seen in the screenshots. The base of the game is built off BiRaitBec's list, and mods have since then been added.I don't recall making any particular changes to any of my mods, and I've already tried to verify game files. As I mentioned before, it HAS worked, but suddenly doesn't. It appears almost ALL wood items are pixelated, and some metal. I haven't seen any of Snappy Housekit's having this problem, but all vanilla wood items, and some mods (like wasteland walls) has it. Any and all ideas are really quite welcome :S
  13. The ones from my plugin list that needs updating are: DEFUi LooksMenu Mod Configuration Menu Transfer Settlements Extended Dialogue Interface So, that may take a while :P My game utterly refuses to start with F4SE loader, it just crashes on startup.
  14. If there's custom animations for that, I'm certain it'd be reasonably entertaining :P
  15. Hey there! I was wondering if the kind of mods mentioned exist for F4. I know Boston isn't particularly rough environmentally, but it'd be a really nice addition to the survival aspect? ð
  16. Thank gods. Disabled all of them, loaded a save outside the museum after completing the objectives, and the f'ers started moving again. Thanks a ton for that :)
  17. Hey there, everyone. So, I've run through the start of the game 11 times now, trying to figure out which mod(s) causes this bug, but I'm at a loss. My current load order is: I've used BiRaitBec's load order guide as a base, and added different mods of my own. I've also merged some plugins (mostly settlement stuff and weapons/armor, so that shouldn't be the cause). The last in the load order is a Mator Smash plugin. I've googled various solutions, but haven't found any that works. Any great ideas? I'd really like to continue the minutemen questline on this character -_-
  18. Hey, everyone! I've posted this question elsewhere as well, but never recieved any reply(ies); I was wondering if any of you got Mator Smash to work with Fallout 4 yet? F4 is listed as compatible, but there's no files in the "settings -> Fallout4" folder of the program. Skyrim has lots of files, but I'm uncertain if copying those over to Fallout 4 will be of any use?
  19. Hello, and thanks for this amazing tool. Been working pretty well for my Skyrim SE playthrough. I do get an error, when trying to run it for Fallout 4, though. It immediately posts this, as I try to build the patch: "Building patch: Compatibility Patch is using plugin: Compatibility.espAdding masters...Done adding masters Processing filesProcessing DLCRobot.esmFailed to patch Compatibility, Access violation at address 00721C82 in module 'MatorSmash.exe'. Read of address 00000014 All done!" Edit: When I initially load the program, all plugins for Fallout 4 are listed as "Skip" in the setting column. If I right click, Smash Setting cannot be changed.
  20. Hello, community! I hope some of you would be willing to help a skyrim noob out with modding the game. It's a vast, vast jungle out there with mods that has been converted to SSE, and I'm finding myself confuzzled. So, I'd like to start a new playthrough once the stable version of SKSE64 is ready, and I've started installing various mods to see how things are going. Primarily, immersion is a necessity in the game, for me. I'd like it to be difficult (not impossible, mind you!) I'm pretty sure my load order has tons of redundancies, but I'm having some trouble figuring out what mods are "included" in the major overhauls. I'll post my current load order below, for looksies (I haven't properly sorted them), but I have some problems/questions. Questions first: I've noticed I've got a lot of overwriting, so in the interest of a smaller load order, I wanted to ask what the best current overhauls are, with SSE? Currently, I'm trying these as far as "major" mods goes: Nexus Skyrim Overhaul SSE MorrowLoot Ultimate Total Character Makeover Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim Frostfall Wet and Cold iNeed Sands of Time Organised Bandits in Skyrim Besides these, I'm using loads of weapon/armor mods as you can see in the mod list below. Starting a new game and running around the starting area (Riverwood, whiterun etc) there doesn't seem to be any major equipment problems so far. Is this a good idea, or would you suggest going a more simplistic route? As for the real problems, first problem is, some female NPC's are missing heads, hands and textures. This is probably because if incompatibilities with the body/face and texture mods I've used. Is Total Character Makeover the best all-in package to use, currently? I have some problems with the difficulty, as major creatures/bandits have started showing up and one shotting me (as well as repeating spawns outside embershard mine). Is this a compatibility problem, or did I do something wrong? Examples are bandits with Bonemold Indoril Elite armor, at level 1, or a Spriggan Matron Mother spawning on the way from Helgen to Riverwood Load Order:
  21. Hello everyone! Returning to Skyrim from a long foray into other worlds :P So, I'm just about done installing through the S.T.E.P guide, and I'm wondering where to go next. I remember using these mods in the past, but I've never done a full playthrough with everything installed. I would, however, really like to add in more "stuff". By stuff, I mean armors, weapons and such. Something like Immersive armors and Immersive weapons. Would all this, in combination, work together? And does anyone have any other suggestions to a potential modlist? :) With the S.T.E.P guide and every tool available it still amazes me what the community can put together.
  22. Hi there! So, I was pondering playing Skyrim again, but I'm unsure which version. I want a heavily modded version, so I'm wondering if I should play the regular with STEP and/or GEMS, or if there's other mod compilations today that works well? :)
  23. I'd like to say "everything", but I know you're busy with what's already undergoing :) My personal problem with most of the interiors in FO4 is that they're all so predictable. Generally you find the exact same creature/npc on the exact same spawn in every playthrough.
  24. That seems to have worked! Thanks a ton :)
