  1. Hello again, community folks! So, I'm running a fair share of merged mods, and in some cases those merges have resulted in textures not showing up. Some examples I've seen this happen is with Eli's Sanctuary Bunker, APC Transport (the small one with the animated back) and Beantown Interiors. Is there some way to fix that? I assume it's because the ESP's can no longer find whatever assets they're supposed to be using, or at least that makes the most sense to me. Thanks for any and all advice // Lars
  2. A lot of work :P And it's safe for most mods (unless described otherwise) to clean UDR's and ITM's, right?
  3. Hey everyone! So, when it comes to cleaning mods, I've found varying information on the interwebs, and thought I'd ask here. Do I, or do I not, clean official DLC's? When I clean ESP's, do I have to load them up seperately, or can I load the entire list in, and clean them from top to bottom? And what are the risks if I load them all in at once, then clean? Same with sorting masters. Thanks in advance for any and all help :)
  4. I finally figured out what it actually is. I used the TGM cheat to have a new character go through everything the other character did. It was the goddamn "spaceship" in the Hubologist questline. It's the sound it makes when it spins around, that got stuck on the character somehow. I think it's because I used freecam while in there, the sound loop somehow got attached to the camera. -_-
  5. The weirdest thing is, the sound has attached itself to the camera. If I use the TFC command and move the camera away, the sound is still there in the background. FML.
  6. If someone could help me locate the sound file for Fusion Generators, that'd be really helpful. It'd help me diagnose the problem, and change it. :) I've unpacked the ba2, but can't find the specific file for it.
  7. Could be, but there's no functional vertibirds in my game yet. I haven't even talked to preston before going to Nuka world, so everything beyond that DLC hasn't been active.
  8. Yes, I realise "Whooshy" isn't the best explanation, but I haven't been able to find a sound that match in the game, weirdly enough. I uploaded a recording here. The difference in sound effects if you hear the whole 11 seconds, is when I zoom out to third person. The sound does not get lower if I zoom out further. The character I play has only done Nuka World content (aside from running there from the vault). I've completed the whole thing and only later noticed that sound coming from my character when I put on headphones. I've tried to replicate the sound throught workshop mode and spawning various NPC's, but I can't find whatever makes that exact sound. I've unequipped every item in my inventory with no removal of the sound I've renamed the "Sound" folder in Fallout 4/Data, which also does not fix it. I've created a new character, which does NOT have that sound stuck to it. The sound is under the "Effects" option in the audio menu. If I turn down effects, the sound is gone, along with all other sound effects. I've also tried Googling, but couldn't find any solutions. Have anyone else experienced this, or heard of it, and know of a fix? Any and all ideas are welcome. Edit: I think I identified the sound. It's when you're near a fusion generator (where you take a fusion core out of the machine). I also think I know why. In the beginning of Nuka world I used Conquest to camp inside, near where the alien turret is. I remember being in workshop mode when I put a fusion core from a generator into my workshop (instead of picking it out manually) and it's probably looped from that point onwards, I just never noticed it much. I hope there's a way to fix this, besides rampant use of the FKS command.
  9. Thanks a lot for the quick answer :) And yeah. I've been fiddling with mod load orders and such for so long it'd sort of make sense to start learning more.
  10. Hey there, everybody! I just wanted to hear everybody's thoughts about this, since I'm unsure what to make of it (and if there's any rules for it) Say a mod adds some specific changes that I really like (which conflicts with another mod) and I want to edit the mod to more adequately fit in to my personal playthrough. What are the rules and moralistic views of "picking out" parts of a certain mod to use, while leaving the rest disabled/removed? It goes without saying that the changes made won't be uploaded nor shared afterwards.
  11. No great ideas at all? :) Simply decent ideas are also more than welcome. I've tried so very, very many things to get this fixed, but it still persists. I've tried removing all mods that adds custom hair, all body and face data, deleted everything I could think of in the textures, meshes and material folders (and re-verified everything through steam) and even with just the DLC's activated, I'll have the bug. I've also tried downloading the High Res pack, to see if that magically fixed it, and it didn't. Ran the batch file from Nexus and let that run, also didn't fix it. I'm not running any SLI config (Got a GTX 1060 6GB card, which can't even run SLI) Any and all ideas are welcome :/ (Also, not sure if this belongs in the Mod troubleshoot section anymore)
  12. Hey there! So, I reinstalled the game yesterday, for a more balanced playthrough, and had the black face bug after reinstalling. I tried with several different combinations of body/face textures (with and without the fix download), and couldn't get rid of it. I thought I had maybe done something wrong, and tried reinstalling again today. And still getting the same bug. I'm using The Wandering Scavver, currently (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22044/?) and still have the bug. Tried with scavvers own fix, and again with the seperate fix download from here: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21907/? I'm at a loss, and most google searches don't come up with something particularly useful. Mostly for repacking the HD pack, which I'm not using. Any great ideas? Edit: load order here.
  13. So it looks like I have an older version of Snap'n'build on my HDD, and I'm wondering if it's worth installing, or if it'll just break everything? :P The version I have left over is 1.9, not sure if there was any problems with it?
  14. Hello, folks. So I've recently made a lot of changes to my mod list, and I'm currently running with 253 active plugins. I've seen a video by the wonderful Elianora about how to merge plugins to a single ESP, but I'm not sure which are actually safe to do this with. I've looked over youtube as well, but haven't found the info I needed. So I turn to you :) I do like the current load order, but I'd like more organization (if possible) and possibility to add stuff in the future. My load order is as follows: I'm using quite many settlement mods and variations of gear (and patches to make it work with Horizon). Is there anything on this list that can be merged to a single plugin, and is the way Elianora does it here adequate? Hope you guys can help :)
  15. Yeah, I'm not getting many CTD's after running Wrye through it all. Do any of you have any suggestions as to merging mods? Running with Horizon as an overhaul, it's hard to tell if other mods I have is a bit redundant as well. :S
  16. https://modwat.ch/ Enough said I had no idea that site existed :P https://modwat.ch/u/Larsjex There we go. And yeah, I've run LOOT, and gone over the files with WRYE to fix masters. Haven't edited anything with FO4Edit yet, as I'm not entirely sure which errors should be fixed. :)
  17. Hello, you lovely Nexus go-ers. I've recently started a new game with 251 (currently) active plugins (and lots of non-plugin mods). What I primarily would like help with, is how to ensure stability, and if it's possible to merge some of these mods, to reduce plugin number and issues. I'm not quite as good at running mods and getting them stable as I was back in "the day", so I thought I'd throw everything up here, and see if there's any good samaritans that'd like to take a look at it and see if there's anything completely wrong, or if some can be changed for the better. I know that putting the list up like this, is a bit messy, if there's any other (more descriptive) way, do let me know. My load order has been attached, so it doesn't completely mess up this post. Thanks in advance for any and all help! // Lars J
  18. In response to post #33341565. #33341655 is also a reply to the same post. Ah! Thanks. I thought it was a window of some kind. Really useful, though. I need this on Ps4 Asap xD
  19. "Added status menu for settlers in your settlements" Am I too stupid to find this? O.o
