  1. Does anyone know of any trustworthy sites, beside the Nexus, that still have Battlefront 2 mods? Ever since FileFront got taken down it's been difficult to find them.
  2. Yeah... this sounds really bad already. There's no reason for them to not use the workshop since it's probably the easiest and most efficient way for a lot of people to install and update mods.
  3. Maybe the soul cairn is a splinter of his realm, and the ideal masters are beings allowed to continue existing/ruling because they offer the collected souls to him. It was speculated that souls were treated as a type of currency there. Used for paying the landlord his rent perhaps? True enough. I'll have to remember that if it ever comes up again. I'm still more partial to the idea that a Vampire's soul is constantly being drained away, and that their 'feeding' is as much replenishing that power as the need for the actual blood. It would explain why they don't have to be partially soul-trapped to enter the Soul Cairn, since we can assume that as Undead they are already bound to it. Which makes one wonder what Molag Bal's link to the Soul Cairn, and the Ideal Masters, is. Wait, what's this about the Soul Cairn being related to Coldharbour? Molag Bal's the Daedra of Domination, I don't think he would be involved at all with the S.C. If anything, Sithis would be connected to the soul Cairn and the Ideal Masters, Seeing as how one of the original deities of Mundus, and the embodiment of nothingness/death.
  4. Nope, like everyone else was saying, the dragons didn't disappear when alduin was defeated the first time. Remember, the Elder Scroll didn't kill him, it just sent him forward in time. After that, the rest of the dragons split up to fight each other for territory, and Paarthurnax stayed at the Throat of the World. Plus, remember Durnehviir, the dragon you meet in the soul cairn during the DawnGuard DLC, he was around way after Alduins defeat.
  5. Ah, Ok. I suppose ending up in Cold Harbour is better than being erased from existence completely.
  6. Ok so, we know that pretty much everyone has a specific afterlife they go to. (Nords to Sovngarde, Lycans to the Hunting Grounds, etc.) But what about Vampires? I know M.B has Cold Harbor, and that the Vampires are his creations, so they might just get sent there. But, It's mentioned in the game that your soul is destroyed or removed by the vampirism disease. So which is it? Do dead Vampires end up in Cold Harbor? Or are they just removed from existence completely?
  7. I personally find her a bit self serving, but flexible and not entirely wrathful. Remember "Azura & the Box", Azura was embarrassed in front of a whole room full of people, she could of killed the person responsible immediately, but instead (At least according to the main In game source) she just teleported out.
  8. Despite what you may have thought from the title, no this is not a question about the age of the Elder Scrolls artifacts, or the age of the game series. What I want to know is; how long lived are the (Main) races of Tamriel? I know the Humans in E.S have about the same lifespans as us, and the elves vary depending on type and magical affinity, so I guess I'm really asking how long do the Khajiit and Argonians live?
  9. This, I really hope we see some more of the daedra's relm's in this game, And that they actually play a role in the story's events this time. In Skyrim, Hermaeus Mora was used the most out of all of them, so it seems like bethesda was planing on him being Important in ES:6. And since theres a chance that the world really cold end in the next game, I have a feeling that that's something Mora would really want to see. Aside from that though, I hope we get a chance to visit The Quagmire, Cold Harbor (They owe us after how the MMO turned out), Umbriel, and The hunting grounds, since these are some of the most unique areas we have yet to see.
  10. It would take a lot of work, but the amount of downloads you would get would be in the thousands, If not hundreds of thousands. I would recommend getting plenty of experience with the creation kit, and other game tools first. It would also be a good idea to work with some of the sites experienced modders.
  11. This may be somewhat off topic but, how did the Volkhanire castle survive for so long? It kept on horrible disrepair, and I can't believe that no one would have tried to take it over.
  12. So, moving on from Serana, Harkon, and Isran, lets talk about 1.How did Velarica survive in the soul carin for so long without going insane or dying of starvation? & 2.How come Akatosh doesn't abandon the dragonborn if he becomes a vampire like he did with Snow elf whats his face?
  13. Speaking of Dawnguard, lets talk about Harkon. The man is probably the biggest Idiot I've ever seen as an antagonist. It took him thousands of years to find Serana, and he couldn't even find his wife even though she was hiding right under the castle. He keeps around two guys who he knows want to kill him, and when the dragonborn walks in, he just goes ahead and makes him a vampire lord, why!
  14. Yeah, it's obvious that the story progresses ridiculously fast. I was just replaying the quest where you are first trained by the Grey beards, and now realize how weird it is. I mean, you spend 30 minutes climbing a mountain for just a for almost no explanation of why or how you are the Dragonborn, no history lesson, and only 2 shouts. After that, the Grey beards decide to just send you into a dangerous crypt to retrieve an artifact that may, or may not even be there.
  15. Another game that succeeded a lot better at this was Dishonored. It offered multiple endings and the game actually adapted to your choices throughout the game. Unfortunately the way it adapted hardly made any difference. Still, It was a really awesome game, and a good example of how to add consequences.
  16. Another thing that's funny is that this is what a lot of people (especially modders) complain that games are lacking in today. I think that the only way to make everyone truly happy, would be to integrate something like the mod customizer for the skyui. For example, I'm playing TES:6 and decide I want my character to need sleep. I open up the menu, scroll to the 'set needs' option, and set the sleep requirement. I could then play my game more realistically, while still having the option to turn all the realism settings off and play it like an arcade game. I think this would be a feature that could actually please everyone, and offer even more replayability to the game.
  17. Actually, The courier never knew about the settlement. He was just the 1st person to ever cross the Divide and survive. The People who followed his route created the settlement, and Ulysses eventually found his way there and made It his home. The only way the Courier could've not known about all this is if right after he passed through the Divide the 1st time to deliver whatever It was he was delivering, he left to return home. Then, after the settlement in the divide was created, the courier returned for a 2nd time, Activating the missiles along his path. Since the Courier had no idea It was his fault the divide was destroyed, It only makes sense that the Nukes went off sometime after he left, And that nobody had any idea they had ever been activated.
  18. Alright, Thank you so much that was the problem.
  19. Hi everyone, ok so I hate asking for help. but, I really hate like all of these modding tools, and I'm still kind of new at this, so can anyone tell me why this file isn't working. As the title says It's a .nif file of a modified 10mm pistol, with parts from other meshes. I copied and pasted the branches into the new mesh so that isn't the problem. Pic included If that helps.
  20. Surprised at how many posts are on here. Anyway, There is no reason the DragonBorn should've been able to know that the bow's effects were temporary. Unless of course Serana knew that the effects would be temporary, and only told Dovahkiin that because she was curious as to what would happen, and, as Dante mentioned, because she trusted him/her. Still, my PC decided to use the bow because, well, I'm sure Tamriel won't mind 1 eclipse every month to much.
  21. I'm tired of seeing people say this. There is no proof for this. It's just a rumor that got out of hand. Still, you got to admit it makes sense. more so than every guard in the game having been shot with an arrow, in the knee.
  22. Another thing to factor in is that the nuclear warheads in the fallout universe are a lot less powerful, and have a far lower heat/radiation yield than real nukes. (As shown in the Lonesome Road add-on, and the Megaton nuke.) Also, the population would be even larger when you take into account the ghouls that were created. Super mutants were created in california and D.C and are found only around those locations, less so in california since Mariposa was destroyed in the 1st game.
  23. Anonymous is an un-unified legion. It can be either a virtual unabomber, or the next julian assange.
