  1. "There's so many mods being uploaded each day, moderation is usually only applied when it has been reported by a user so chances are someone could report the other mod as well and that gets removed too. You should be aware that changing a character's sexuality (among other characteristics) to intentionally cause hostility on the site is grounds for removal as per the File Submission Guidelines." That makes sense, but I seen the mod that allows males to date Judy (A mod from the example I provided) and it didn't seem malicious or hostile in anyway. It was pretty much the same as the other one still available that allows females to date Panam.
  2. "Two hundred meter race. One person starts 50m ahead of the other. They are "treated equally" by both starting when the gun fires. "equal treatment" is bullshit if you don't look at the entire situation." That could be true if this were a race. The scenario however is completely different when it comes to fair treatment and human rights.
  3. Equal treatment of all groups is the only way to stop bias and resentment from perpetuating. Denying one group equal treatment based on the opinion that they are over represented seems more like an act of vengeance if anything. Such acts only contribute toward creating deeper divides.
  4. I have some concerns with some mods being removed on here while similar mods are allowed to remain. This isn't game specific but I'll use two mods created for Cyberpunk as an example. A mod for Cyberpunk that allows male players to date a lesbian character "Judy" was removed. I'm not sure what its removal was based on but it appears to be political. I personally feel that a player should be allowed to mod their game however they want and share these mods as long as it doesn't promote criminal behavior. If allowing a mod like this violates an administrator's morals to the point where they felt it must be removed, that is this person's choice. This is basically saying that it is a rule that mods are not allowed to change the sexual preference of an NPC. If this is true, then this rule should be applied universally. I have noticed however that a mod that allows female players to date a straight female NPC "Panam" has been allowed to remain on the Nexus. This violates the newly established rule of not changing an NPC's sexual preference. Doesn't that seem one sided? I have always been on the side of people's rights and freedom of preferences. I have always believed that people should be free from discrimination for their preferences, ethnic backgrounds, or religious beliefs. Basically against discrimination of any kind. If the rules on this site are different for people depending on race, religion, or sexual preferences, wouldn't that be discrimination. It's based on these things that I believe that both of these mods should either be removed or allowed to remain but regardless of the choice, both mods should be treated the same. There are other issues I've heard of in regards to mods being removed unequally. These include mods that involve gender or race swaps. If that is a rule, (and maybe it should be idk) then it should be a rule universally. Remove any mod that changes female to male but also remove any mod that changes male to female.
  5. For anyone who finds this while searching, since I doubt this will help the guy who posted it after 4 years, I had the same problem with "werewolf loot" and the only way to fix it was to remove the mod and the script.
