Shivering Isles : doesn't exist?
Valkyrie replied to Dragunover's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Did you try starting the game without SI activated then saving. Then exit the game, reactivate SI and see if it pops up? -
Thnx for the quick response David  Kudo to you.

Is there any reason I can't, or shouldn't, go a cell or 2 offshore in the ocean and use a height map to create a new island? I see most of the islands are in a new world space and was wondering if there was a reason for this. Thank you.

I got mine running by installing OBSE by its directions for Steam, using this link, Then downloaded the OBSE launcher here on the nexus.

My pleasure Sir

Phew.... You Sir are a literal "sewer" of excellent information! Thank you again!

I guess the easiest way to explain this is in a picture: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v283/Valkyrie-Krazo/Oblivion%20Mod/Dwm2010-08-1514-28-47-25.png This works fine for me but if I upload it, the new user will not have that texture in the correct directory. But anytime I change the texture thats what we get.... Is the only way out of this to only modify the original dds?

Disappeared? Are they still checked under "data" when you start the game?

There might be a level requirement for the ones you picked up. Have a look here and compare the stats on the ones you have: Clicky -
Help getting NPCs to perform basic actions
Valkyrie replied to SaintAnon's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
I would start right around.... Here.... Editor Basics NPC Tutorial -
I'm guessing you mean a companion. You can look thru the companions files, both "cm based" and "other". You can also use "recruit and share" which will allow you to use any npc as a companion. I would start there. If nothing tickles your fancy then you can work on how to change their appearances.

Finally, a lead! Thank you  Kudo

Don't wanna make a new thread just for this so.... Has anyone seen the "Ship in a bottle" resource around or maybe have a copy of it? Looks like the file got yanked from here. I keep winding up with "Duplicate" cells. Is this because I've midified a user made cell in more than one esp?

Different Mod names (Double Melons DMRA)
Valkyrie replied to SonOfCronus's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
DMRA is actually a clothes mod if I remember. It alters the clothing look as opposed to altering the body model. Just go to files and search for dmra. Not familiar with bdm. -
Some good stuff here: link

Not sure if can do it in MS Paint or not. If not there then download "The Gimp".

Oblivion can only use 2 gigs so don't think it will have any effect. -

Do you have the make, model and serial number? (sticker prolly on the bottom) Should be easy enough to look up. And what version of Windows? -
First off, read the directions on this and give this a run. Excellent program for load orders. Make sure ya download and install the latest masterlist also for it. Better Oblivion Sorting Software Try that and lemme know if it fixes it.

I found this after a quick search: And... Looks like it might work. My brother used to play this on the 5200. Make sure you have the latest drivers for absolutely everything, Graphics chipset, motherboard chipset, sound drivers etc.
