  1. Hey, I'm planning on creating new cards for my Gwent mod in the future. I'm not much of an artists though, but the new "Gwent Witcher Card Game" has a lot of great cards in it. Sadly, all the images I can find of cards from that game have marks on them showing their power, lane, etc. Does anyone have access to a version of these cards without clutter on top of the background image? Just to clarify, I'm not talking about the Gwent cards in the Witcher 3, I'm talking about the card in the new Gwent standalone game. Thanks.
  2. Hey, I've tried many things to get a "remove item" script working, but none of them work. Does anyone know of a way to write a function in a script to remove an item?
  3. Hey everyone, So I'm currently working on a gwent mod that I think is a lot more advanced than any gwent mods I've seen. Here are the general features: - Balance cards - Improve lore friendliness - A lot more cards have abilities - Add new cards - Add new card abilities (All of these are for the Skellige deck too) The new cards and abilities are the main features that I think will set my mod apart from the rest. In order to create some of the really interesting abilities that I've thought up however, I need to edit a few .redswf files. Specifically: deck_builder.redswf and gwint_game.redswf. EDIT: I figured out how to edit the .redswf files but can't quite get some features working. If anyone interested in gwent mods wants to try to figure out wtf all this code means with me let me know :P
  4. Archery Perks Overhaul 2.0, available here! To anyone who has been waiting for version 2.0, sorry for the long wait, but it is finally available. This version of the mod changes a lot of the perks from previous versions and adds unique, craftable arrows. For those of you who haven't seen my mod before, here's a short overview: APO is a full redesign of the archery skill tree which allows you to specialize in either Speed or Power. This mod balances some existing perks, but most of the perks in the mod are brand new and reward you for mastering one of two archery play styles, speed or power. If Skyrim archery has begun to feel a bit boring, I strongly recommend checking out this mod, thanks :P http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65388/?
  5. That looks perfect. In your picture it looks like there is a string behind the arrow. Would that string arc with the arrow?
  6. I'm working on an update for my mod and I'll be adding a grappling hook arrow type. I have everything I need except a good looking grappling hook/arrow. Currently I'm just using the dragonbone arrow as a grappling hook so obviously there is no rope behind it. If someone could make me a mesh/texture for a grappling arrow I would very much appreciate it. A dragonbone arrow with a long rope on the end is basically what I'm looking for. Please respond if you can do this for me and are willing to help, thanks.
  7. Hey all, I've been working on an archery mod for a little while. It started off as a simple perk mod but I've decided to add different arrow types into the mix. The arrows are not implemented in the current update however, that is what I'm looking for help with. I have created an arrow that acts like a grappling hook. It fires, and pulls the player to it. The arrow projectile that I'm looking for is similar to this. If someone is willing to make an arrow with a head that looks like this, I would really appreciate it. Secondly. It may not be very possible to attach a string to this hook, but maybe a second projectile that could fire directly behind the hook that has the model of a string? If anyone things they could help me out with this I would really appreciate it. Hopefully we can make this weapon amazing!
  8. I've recently finished my first perk overhaul mod for Archery. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65388/? I'm going to release a somewhat large update for this mod later today. I want to eventually improve and make lots of new perks for other trees as well. My ultimate goal is to create a full overhaul to the entire skill system that improves and changes every skill tree. Check out my mod to see if you like any of those ideas, and if you have perk ideas for archery or any other skill, please post them here and I'll try to include them in my future mods. Thanks for the ideas, lets make something awesome
  9. Yep haha. Right now I'm trying to make a perk that increases damage for every consecutive hit on an enemy, just like your idea about growing draw speed. Sadly, I can't get it working though. If you have any other ideas feel free to comment on the mod page and I'll see if I can implement them. EDIT: I got this perk working.
  10. Awesome. Yeah this looks very useful, thanks :P
  11. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65388/? Here's my mod. I have a perk called Knockout that is similar to your recommendation. Please comment on the mod with any feedback you have :P
  12. Yeah that sounds great. I'll see if I can do something like that
  13. Improve in what way? ***EDIT*** Actually, I'll see what I can do about that, thanks for the idea :P
  14. I'm just about to finish up my Archery Perks Overhaul mod. I just need to add one more perk and I'm done. What are your ideas for a cool archery perk? Thanks for your suggestions.
  15. I'm having trouble making my skill trees look correct in game. In the creation kit I have been testing a lot of different layouts for a new skill tree but no matter what I try, the perks are always separated unevenly, but in the creation kit they separated evenly. Does anyone know why my skill tree looks wrong in game? Does anyone have experience making new skill trees, and could help me with mine? Thanks for the help. ***EDIT*** Nevermind, I solved the issue. If anyone has a similar issue I can tell you what I did and maybe it will work for you too.
  16. I don't mean to bug you, but how's the mod coming? The dual arrow ability is exactly what I'm looking for. Have you thought about releasing it by itself?
  17. How did you make slow effects work in your mod? Did you use the weight recalculation method like others have mentioned?
  18. Yeah that's exactly how mine is. I've decided to give arrows a freeze effect instead of a slow effect. Thanks anyway though.
  19. Hey, I'm working on a mod that adds a few new archery perks and one of my perks makes arrows slow their target by 50% for 5 seconds. I have copied the effects from frost spells so I don't know why it's not working. In game I've been testing it on guards and spiders and neither enemy seems to be slowed down, the freeze FX applies though. I have set the speedmult to 50 because 0.5 didn't work at first and the frost spells use 50 as their speedmult. I read somewhere that frost damage was broken in Skyrim because it doesn't apply until the targets weight is recalculated, but the unofficial patch claims to have fixed this. If anyone knows why my frost arrow perk isn't working, please let me know. Thanks. ***EDIT*** Solved, thanks again DDProductions
  20. Hey everyone, I'm in the process of remaking the archery skill tree to make it as fun and balanced as possible so I'd like some input. So far I've modified values, rearranged skills, and added new ranks to skills. The next step is to add new skills. I never much liked the bullseye skill so I'm looking for ideas that could replace that skill. I'm also planning on adding a new skill to the right side of the tree that can be unlocked at level 80. What are your ideas for some fun high level skills that I could put in my mod? TLDR: What ideas for archery skills do you want to see in my mod? Thanks for your input.
  21. How can I change the texture of meshes? I'm trying to use existing meshes, but put different textures on them. For example, the static object "RifRmSmBaseFloor01". I have downloaded some modder resources from the Nexus that provide .dds files which allow me to do this but if I want to use a texture that exists in the vanilla game I can't, because I can't seem to find most of them due to the fact that there are a very small amount of textures located in "Skyrim/data/textures". On a static item such as "RifRmSmSecondMidWallHalf01", I double click it and "edit" the model. There, it shows that it uses 6 different textures under the 3D Name column but none of them are available as "texture sets" in the Creation Kit so I can't use them on other meshes. How can I access the textures under the 3D Name column to use them on other meshes? Are they inaccessible because they're built into the mesh, and therefore, not able to be used as a texture for other objects? Also, why aren't there very many .dds files in the textures folder for Skyrim? I don't have any experience with editing or creation textures or meshes so forgive me if I don't really understand how it works. Thank you to anyone who helps me out.
  22. Post your ideas for cool sneak skills and I'll try to make them because I really hate the silence and shadow warrior perks in the sneak tree so I want to make a perk or 2 that replaces those but I can't think of any ideas that are good enough.
  23. I'm trying to make a perk for myself, almost identical to the Ambush perk from SkyRe, that will slow down time for a few seconds after a successful sneak attack. What I'm having trouble with is finding the correct conditions in the Creation Kit to make the slow time effect only occur after I successfully sneak attack someone with a dagger. Could someone please tell me what conditions I need to use to make this work, or maybe I'm doing this completely wrong and in that case please tell me what I should do instead. Thank you.
