In addition to the highres texture packs, it looks like you have a tooon of cleaning to do on Update, Dragonborn, Dawnguard and Hearthfire. If you've been cleaning those with TES5edit, you haven't been doing it right. But when I cleaned mine I didn't notice any particular change in performance, so first I'd disable the highres texture packs and then test. As for the rock, if there are any mods that edit or add any place around Riverwood, that would do it.

Have you tried uninstalling the High-res texture packs and testing skyrim then? That, more than anything else, could be the big problem.

Are there any huge mods like monster mod, monster wars, falskaar, etc you've downloaded? If you go into your Skyrim >> Data folder and sort the items there by size, what's your largest mod size?

If you make it hours without Skyrim CTDing, that's really not too bad. If it's a framerate/performance issue you're having, I can see where you're coming from, but it's not unusual for skyrim to randomly CTD even without mods. There are mods out there that will set your autosave to something more frequent (say, every five minutes as opposed to whenever you open up a menu) if you're worried about losing progress.

I'm trying to add new items to the rabbit/goat drop list, but when they die, sometimes they drop nothing at all. I've set the "chance nothing" to zero, but it doesn't make a difference. I'd like these items to always drop. Is there anything I can do?

Yeah, it's totally possible. If you go into CK, then Magic >> Potions >> Food, find a food item, duplicate it, and build your food off of it. You can create a new model/texture, but there are a lot of modder resources here and on TSAlliance that have free food models you can use.

For my Hunter's mod, I'm trying to make the kelp you find in the ocean into a harvestable plant, which can then be made into a soup that heals health and allows 5 seconds of waterbreathing per bowl. Anyway, there are around 76 instances of static, harvestable kelp, but the vast, vast majority of kelp is a grass, which as far as I can tell is not able to be made harvestable. Is there a script I can use to make this grass kelp harvestable, or to turn the grass into its harvestable form?

The "projectile" part of the arrow and quiver are working and visible, but when loading an arrow onto the bow, it's invisible. However, it shows up, visible, when placed on the ground in CK and in the preview. The model for this one works in the CK, in the preview, but when set on the bow is invisible. The projectile also works. It's when the arrow is on the bowstring that it shows up as invisible. As it shows up fine except ingame, and the textures are fine and visible in nifskope and CK, I can't really fathom what the issue could be. Does anyone have a clue? I'll send the files if someone wants to take a look.

All I really wanted to do was convert this model to a nif to use it in a mod. Guess I'm not ready for that.

I don't even know how you got to that screen. And the video shows view options I don't have/can't find.

I was told to talk to Urag, but he won't give me the quest dialogue, so it won't start. I've tried setstage, recycleactor, talking to Mirabelle, exhausting all dialogue options, etc. They do not give me the quest. Disabling all my mods is NOT an option, because that would break my game and I have many. I've heard I could just skip the quest, but that would break the rest of my quests. Is there a solution for this?

I am using those versions, and blender still tells me I need to UV map my objects.

When I change the .dae into .zip, I get a file format is damaged or unknown error. And when using kmz, blender tells me I still have to uv map it.

There's a sketchup file I'd like to use for a fairly large mod I'm making, but I can't figure out how to convert the files to .nifs. I can export them as obj and from there fairly easily get them as a nif, but then they don't have UV maps. None of the tutorials seem to go over specifically how to get the uv maps from sketchup files to work, though they go over collision data (which was never a problem in my case; I was just going to import it over another nif anyway). Just one is activated. And yes, I have just as much issue getting into an interior cell as an exterior. -

Yeah, I use BOSS. Problem is, when I installed Dragonborn (and the patch and all patches after that) is when I first got the issues. Now, most of the mods I have/have updated use the latest patch, so I can't really revert back. I hadn't installed anything for a long time before and after the patch, and that's when the issues appeared. Disabling the esm doesn't seem to make much of a difference, though it decreases CTD somewhat. -
Arrow appears invisible, except for when fired?

Still having this problem, which puts my mod on hold until I can get it fixed. Any ideas on what might be the cause?
