  1. I 've created a few basic NPC makeover mods. But now I want to expand my knowledge and create a behaviour for a certain NPC that will only run once ( preferrably triggered by killing first dragon in vanilla game) I am lost in that part of the CK and any guidance or help would be appreciated. More Detail. I want Nazeem to be jealous of the players fame for killing the first dragon and becoming Thane of Whiterun. He will go seek his own fame by going to Bleakwind Basin to kill a giant. He will do so in his normal clothes and a dagger. He is intended to die and fly to the Cloud district. My question is how do I get him to go to that location when the player becomes Thane and force him to attack the giants there? Any help will be very appreciated.
  2. Throwing this idea out there for anyone that might be capable of it. My idea is to integrate the showrace menu face changer, from Riften, into the crime system. Basic premise is if you have a bounty and change your face enough guards will forget you comitted the crime. Now say if you changed your face first, lets say you copied Nazeem's exact look, then go kill Heimskr in broad daylight. With plenty of witnesses. Then you make a clean getaway. The real Nazeem will be blamed for the crime and spend it in prison. You must change your face off of the Nazeem look alike though or else the guards will get wise to you. Does not work if the npc you are impersonating is already dead. Will not work if an npc see's both the player and the impersonated character at the same time. To impersonate a character you should have a way to copy their looks exactly (might be another mod for that) and study their clothing so that you match it exactly. It fails if you get the slightest detail wrong. Weapons should have more leeway. Excluding unique weapons or Daedric artifacts, Everyone knows that only the player has those. I have no ability for scripting, and such. The limiters I suggested, are for a reasonable balance and chance of failure. Maybe too limiting, maybe not enough. EDIT: Another point I thought of later was that quest important npc's could somehow be immune to the blame..Such as Jarl's cause they're the ones that pay the guards to begin with. Oddly all my mod ideas have some sort of focus around abusing Nazeem or Heimskr
  3. I suggest a Tool to automate adding keywords from weapon and armor fixes remade to other mods or patches, for easy compatibility to have the smithing menu be consistant. Possibly to remove default keywords that would conflict with WAFR, while retaining keywords that the other mod would need to funcion. And possibly add the WAFR keywords based on materials used for crafting to new entries not otherwise covered by WAFR. Such as the bonus armors from CT77's remodeled armours, and the various thigh boots.
  4. I have an issue of certian version of mods for skyrim leading to file not found for manual download or 3 tries and an error through NMM. Other version of the same mod download quickly and without a problem. Would this be related to the server hosting FE Nexus, NWN Nexus, TW Nexus, WOT Nexus, XCOM Nexus and M&B Nexus going down? If so, is there any estimated time that this error will be corrected? For me the older optional files of stealth skills rebalanced and the newest version of no dragon lods.
  5. Well I've always wanted a purpose for killing Nazeem, which I almost always do. Plus, a mudcrab doing it has that comedic value, that would just make skyrim better.
  6. Dragonborn arrives at a pond near Morthal(or other appropriate place), and see's a larger than normal mudcrab. The mudcrab has a note attached to it. (mudcrabs can't talk but they can write) The note says something along the lines of betterment of skyrim, epic quest. Becoming the high mudcrab king, etc etc. The quest is to guard said mudcrab on his epic journey to rid Skyrim of it's foulest inhabitant...Nazeem. The mudcrab isn't essentail so it can fail..which makes Nazeem your friend, But who wants that. Difficulty will be based around luck, lvl , and what other mods you have installed. And if you kill steal the glory from the mudcrab you'll only become mudcrab thane. (or something like that to encourage mudcrab victory) Finishing said quest by killing nazeem yourself would make mudcrabs friendly. Finishing the quest by defending the Large mudcrab would give a spell to summon a legion of mudcrab soldiers into battle and make all mudcrabs in the world battle allies. Had this idea for months, and I've recently deleted the CK from my system , with no plans to bring it back. I also have no knowledge of quest making or scripting. So I decided to leave my idea for someone more capable than I.
  7. My idea is for a mod that allows you to train 18 times per level. But it will only allow training each skill once. Meaning that if you train archery 1 time you cannot train it until your next level. You'd be able to train all skills per level but only once for each skill.
  8. I believe that if the mod was made there would have to be 2 or more seperate face gen files for each npc affected, which would really add up on disk space used. I say this because in CK just changing hair and nothing else about the npc results in the black face bug. For example you want Ysolda to have long hair in the morning, make a script to give her hair in a bun or whatnot by midafternoon. Would need face gen textures and meshes for both hairstyles. Script to change between the two. And hope that she didn't deform in the process. Plus I know nothing of scripting
  9. I would love to see a merger of these two wonderful mods. Perhaps with categories set based upon which tab Skyui utilizes, and subcatogories based upon the latest SkyUI icons. I believe this would be a great addition for compatibility for existing and future mods
