  2. Hi All,..... RE TES5EDIT / SSEEDIT I have a question and hope someone may have an answer, I am modding an old Skyrim mod I created to work with SSE, for some reason some of the outfits are just blue as if the textures are missing, but they are not missing, something SUS is going on here. It might be a dds issue, tho worked with OLD SKYRIM... I am playing with SSEEDIT to see if I can work it out, I want to simply choose another outfit I created Not an outfit that comes with the game and came across something I cannot solve!!!!!!! :sad: every-time I try to change the outfit on a NPC I cannot select/nor find my Custom made OUTFIT in the list of outfits....... this is something i have seen happen when using tes5edit in the past I thought it might be Load Order related... So I tried moving them My Master (Number 6 in Load Order) I created of just some outfits. all with armor and armor addons etc, I would assume any esp below would have access to use it assets from my master! Such as a Plugin which I want to package with my Master, Load order Number 8, I cannot find my outfit in the outfit selector for my NPC For some reason the same plugin but an edited copy I created allows me to select my outfit!!! tho its a number 18 on the load order, I dont know why it can select any of my custom outfits. I looked for form id's but dont think outfits need them? I am lost :sad: anyone care to shed some light on why this particular mod cannot find my outfit?

Hi all, I don't know if you still have this issue, The "characters face being rainbow blocky colours" as seen in Screenshots I might have found a temporary or long term fix?! in your fallout4custom.ini file under [display] add, bForceAllRenderTarget=0 This will disable as this is usually 1 by default! Let me know if this helps? worked for my intel 2in1 with Intel HD 515 GPU..
  4. I found the problem I have reverted back to Standard BSA's and not using the Nexus's HD files makes the game run fine.
  5. Hi, I am a modder on the Sexlab communiy forums. Known for mods such as SCOCLB SEXLAB Compatible (Skyrim c** On Clothes & Layered Bukkake) & SHDS (Slutty Horny Dancer Sluts) I have my modding Skyrim game.. which is below Skyrim + DLC HD textures Full resolutions (nexus HD textures, copied to the BSA files of skyrim.) and I use ENB (real visions) and a handful of mods. which when disabled make 0 difference (I mean GONE!!!.. not just disabled..) as a mod builder I have a STOCK SKYRIM. for my tests I am deeply disturbed.. I mean IT. Disturbed.. because I have been thinking all is well until I travelled to the dragonboard's DLC island (solstheim) for some reason I CTD every attempt to travel to this island. even when starting the game fresh the game shits itself and I swear to god I am just giving up! heres, the story I have been working with skyrim to make a replacement BSA files for the stock game so textures and other items dont need to be duped. So i have replaced as many main texture and mesh files with the HD countparts and recoded them using the creationkit's BSA creator (Archive.exe) I have been making mods for a while now and the game is just simply unstable to say the least. but with some fixes along the way the game has improved I have always tested my mods by starting new game then travelling around local areas such as riverwood and whiterun and the game is great.. but I have known 2 MAJOR flaws along my modding journy. 1. Travelling Very North to where the ice islands are Often causes CTD 2. whileon the boat to solstheim, when arrive at solstheim.. I CTD usually On the boat or walking minutes into solstheim... 3... ? the CTD can be as soon as I load the saved game in solstheim, the CTD will happen 1-5 seconds of loading... apart from that skyrim seems ok with all my mods... I really need to find a solution to this as its making me depressed that a game like this with as many mods as it has is as unstable as this!!!!!!!! Sadly I have seen it crash without mods! so I am just fed UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please shine some light onto whats going on.. P.S. I have read all enb Guides and STEP guides I have tried to keep my installs as clean as possible My system specs.. BTW happens on both my GAMERIG & Test RIG GAMERIG intel i5 2500/16GB 2400MHZ Corsair @ 1333Mhz /R9 290 PCS+/ASUS Deluxe PRO/Antec 1000W Psu TESTRig Intel i7 4770/16GB 1866 @ 1600mhz/Saphire 7870 2GB/Asus Maximum HERO/1000W Antec PSU BTW I am an I.T. engineer. so i know alot about software/hardware such as editing the enblocal files/ugrids & refreshini/videocard memory managers/I have tried alot guys!!!!!!!!! For some reason as many times as I mod the ini's or do other stuff this game just SUCKS BALLS

Hi, As i mentioned in my title, I wish to make a mod which will place few handfuls of NPC's perhaps I will add more children/Young Nords/few others too) I am inspired because of seeing some really cool looking followers. It would be nice to have them as idle NPCs around different towns. So I am seeing that there is race compatibility mod, will I need to edit scripts or use the race compatibility mod to enable my NPC's to function correctly? Q1. are the scripts and the Race Compatibility Mod only really used for Playable Races? I want to get it right and if people use a NPC i created as a follower using a advanced follower mod or something, I want the NPC to work correctly. EDIT. (1 question turned into 3! sorry) Also, Q2. Would it be important to change the race names to those which will be different from the race I am using as a template? just as an example. If I was to use lunari race (if I had permission from author), would be better to copy the files and rename them all, folder and files to different locations so there are no conflicts and change the race name to something different. like lunariNPC race. ? as an example only! I have not requested any permissions yet, just want to learn.. Q3. To allow NPC to become Followers by talking. would that require high level of knoweledge about scripting / programming. Or can it be done simply in creation kit.? Thanks

Hi, I am rebuilding my skyrim and going for a cleaner lnstall Is there a program that will scan the esp/esm file and remove dds/nif files that are not called in the esp/esm? that way the folder path would be alot smaller. I feel there is alot of mods that have dds/nif files that are not needed!
  10. Hi guys. 2 Q's a) I may have had it all wrong for ages.. I am unsure if I need to install the Official DLC HD pack for the other HD mods to work I noticed the DLC actually has got esp's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! b) My Other question is that I can see there are many differernt HD packs There is HD roads HD mountains etc etc I am assuming I cannot install all ROAD Mods, I must pick the one I like most!?!?!   11. Hi guys. I am STUCK! please help me.. I have little 3ds Max experience but years and years ago.. its not helping me 1 bit hehehe I am trying to join the sexlab laying down female masturbate animations.. there are about 5 of them for the life of me I cannot workout what THE F........... IS GOING ON! BOOHOO seriourly... frustrated! P.S. I know I can download asx mod which has all 5 motions combined.. but I wanna learn this!!! I know how to merge them... but I cannot even recreate 1 animation section ..ok, I have tried the following, please comment what I might be doing wrong.. 1. Using hkxcmd I convert each of the 5 sexlab animations into KF I was given 2 types of errors.. (1st, non-unifrom scaleing found whiloe processing/ 2nd would even work) the errors came when tried to convert with different skeleton HKX files... So I used the XP32 skeleron resource pack still recieveing the nonuniform error I continue to use those files! 2. I used the skeleton_female.nif imported to 3dSmax 2012 (xp32 skeleton resource pack) 2b. Imported the 1st masturbate animation. (.KF) (Tried with a few different skeletons) All looks fine in 3dmax! (select all and it looks smooth and works fine.) IN 3D S MAX! 3. I select first frame and add a Key, and add a Key for last frame.. as thats what is said in tutorials for skyrim anim moddings.. 4. Save Animation, 4b. Load animation... NOW I have keyframes for each frame. (adding keyframe seems to have added more detail to the animation!?!?!?!?!?!?!) 5. Look at the Graph, dope sheet and dont make changes tho... dunno if suppose to! (if joining I know to make only 1 start/end) 6. Export using Havoc Content Tools.. using a rig file from xp32 resource files.. Standard rig.. (as I used a skeleton from that xp32...) followed settings in PRO Animation tutorial I have not tried to join anything.. just want to import.. then export the same file to make sure its working.. I notice the new HKX is around 43kb where as the original HKX was 22KB!!! so its twice as large.. something is wrong.. tring to load my animation into CK crashes CK (opening any actor then goto animations... (I copy the files to a folder character) ........................ I have also tried export as a NIF/KF then convert to hkx.. but the file turns out to be around 8KB and when played in ck... it has the character squashed and all broken looking but with the motion seems happening.. Am I having problems due to the wrong skeleton used or simply cannot mod these SEXLAB files this way? --------------------------------------------- whats this all for you may ask?! I plan to make a mod using replacement animations (But custom race & using a secondary animation folder) not to disturb the vanilla game.. That works tested it fine.. but merging animations are harder then I thought it would be.. I have only about 8 animations to replace as doing too many worries me that I will pick an animation that has an object assigned to it.. or something else.. so my MOD, will be adding NPC's to key locations (Pubs) and will make them be drunk and dance randomly... and replacing the following animations laugh, maybe keep.. it's kind of cute!lookfarsalutestudywaveprayeatsoup (not sure but think a spoon object is involved with this anim)sniffingpoint far 1point far 2 I will be learning this for dance animations merging... It would be good to have a few dance moves merged into a single file so it goes for minutes! the sexlab's masturbation animations are around 200frames each and is easier to work with i imagine.. a good learning platform.. plus learning this allows me to have a naughty addon to my mod!!! hahaha dancing & MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahaha please please please help me with this..   12. Hi, I am making a animation replacement based mod, which uses an external folder for animations so it doesnt effect vanilla game too much. I have a small issue the number of animations I wish to replace is only like 6-8 which I could replace more but... I cannot. So other idea would be to merge a few animations together.. like merge 2-3 dance moves together. so it can be 1 animation file to play.. is there a simple way to make this happen? I have tried the following, but cannot get CK to play them nor detect them!! I've used file join app.. DID NOT WORK. I have used HKXCMD tool and tryed to merge them to 1 file NO GOOOD I have tried to convert to xml and copy and paste parts to make it work... BUT NO GOOD.. It seems just converting a animation file to xml then back to HKX results in a broken animation file. so if there a command line utility to do this task? or do i need to get into some animation program?!?!
  13. oh, that makes a difference? i thought u just dont open it in ck? i use hd textures and remember reading the head problem is size of texture is too big.

  15. tried that! but my experience before gave me red forheads, broken tattos and other issues when using custom races or when using ece. using ece makes much better players, more options, makeup etc.. there is a way to use ece to export, but when do that like i said above it has bad forhead colours, sometimes textures size mismatch i remember having to make just 1 npc took so long and then had to edit the facegendata in gimp because it had a red section. but the npc looked good. let me know of a way to solve those issues if you know how as thats bugged me forever. i have tried npc editor also but unstable, crashes and i think its vanilla only... i have a question to all those who make beautiful followers.. how are they making perfect faces?
  16. hi is it possible to use a save game of my current player character and convert that into a npc? that way the npc creator would get all data right.. like makeup, colour, age, height etc... if any programmers out there, please give this a go!
  17. hi guys an gals if any, i hope to be pointed into the right direction.. i wanna make a new mod where I will add maybe 1 or 2 chicks to most pubs in skyrim, somehours durimg day, they will inside drinking, after hours they start dancing outside or inside or both.. so I need dance animations.. and advise, i understand using creation kit to make people do things, tell them where to do at times etc... i am familar with dance mods but they must be triggered on a npc.. or salena she must be activated to dance.. i like with falloutNV there was a mod or at least default to the game was a few erotic dancers i think the mod simply added more! can it be done with skyrim, where if I create a babe in creation kit, make it so she dances by default, allday or just for a few hours a day. or because the shake it mod is not part of the game... not really possible.. its possible perhaps by replacing a boring skyrim animation, idk.. something like the playing the bongos.. animation change that to a dance move.. then some drunks in pubs will dance. hahaha ideas? would that work? thanks a heap.

  19. you could try ENB & ENB Helper and some of the known memory fixes here on Nexus.. ENB without graphic details has that option.. and doubt you will want to play without ENB once installed hehehehehe it has a tone of memory tweaks.. http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB great guide for you to understand what to tweak and change settings... It just tries to keep your fps so that your screen doesn't do tearing. With your normal 60 Hz LCD when the fps gets under 60 it will half the fps to 30 to keep it in sync with the monitor. If fps gets lower than that it will put 20 etc. That fluctuation is what makes the "lag" that most people have "fixed" with disabling v-sync. When V-sync is disabled the graphics card just tries to draw as many screens as it can. Usually you might see some "fake" increase in fps if it's just little bit lower than 60. And for OP have you actually put the iPresentInterval=0 in the skyrim.ini NOT the skyrimprefs.ini. Please note I have found any kind of Vsunc or frame limiter causes loading saved games and moving into and out of buildings SLOW! ENB has a Shift-F12 to enable you to disable it while playing and while enabled can make it limit fps... my little fix!!! haha
  20. Hi, I have a small issue maybe there is a mod which can fix that! or a known fix. I have a highly modded game but doubt that is the issue, maybe it is! who knows.. I am fairly good at load orders so the game runs for hours on end it's just my issue relates to a CTD when first starting up a game from the MAIN MENU OK, So When I run Skyrim with Wyre Smash, I wait until I am in the main Menu. If I am too quickly to load a saved game EG: no waiting soon as the screen shows go to load games, click a saved game then open it after a while it CTD!!! 60-80% of time BUT... WORKS EVERY TIME! If I get to main menu, wait 5-10 seconds go to load saved games wait few seconds go to my saved game wait for saved game image to appear (Waiting few seconds) when Click open game will open EVERY TIME without issues... never CTD Seems my game hate it when I'm in a hurry hahahaha any ideas what's going on?
  21. Instructions to make CUSTOM RESOLUTIONS.. this usually allows extra FPS if you don't mind playing on a smaller size of your screen... or fullscreen NOT DOT for DOT imaging. I Have AMD Hardware, perhaps Nvidia is different... OK, 2 ways to do this.. for a full-screen custom resolution & custom refresh rate, we can EDIT EDID (Method 1)usually allowed to make 4 Of them aside from monitor defaults... usually leaves 2-3 to edit because need to keep NATIVE and don't change that! or Method 2, Registry edits.. safer and quicker Method 1 Using CRU (Custom Resolution Utility) notes; * use automatic timings (automatic -LCD Standard) * set only resolution after settings timings * change refresh to anything else then change it back to your preferred * only edit porch,sync,blanking if expert. after making your resolution be sure to restart your PC. I perfer Method 2. REGEDIT Way. for AMD users. Goto your catalyst control,-->information, -->software. 2D driver path... remember it! open regedit.exe navigate there (note the 000x changes for every new driver installation so check it often) DALNonStandardModesBCD2 open it.. you will see such as... 0008 12 80 07 68 00 00 00 00 (thats a resolution (1280x768)) to create a custom... I have made BOLD the part to edit. so for a resolution of 3500x1800 do 35 00 18 00 00 00 00 00 then exit regedit restart pc or just log off then log on again check your control panel for your new res... NOTE cannot make resolutions higher then Native! (native is whats supported by your screen) NOTE 2, Using method 1 creates Fullscreen resolutions with overclocking abilities.. (eg making a refresh rate of 65hz for 1080p) (i have 120 & 125hz 1080p on my 4k Screen) because 4k is 30HZ :sad: NOTE 3, Using method 2, allows the screen resolution to have a border making the image Perfect 1:1 (Dot for Dot) Clearer look.. NOTE 4, If the Method 2 gives you a full screen image which is blurred a little, check catalyst control panel for MY Digital Flat-Panels->Properties Make sure enable GPU scale is OFF, or chose maintain aspect ratio/use centered timings.

I also go to the extreme and create a Custom Resolution with REGEDIT, and create 3500x1800 and makes my game play in a black border.. not so bad.. a 1 inch border.. and makes my FPS go from 28FPS to 35 I have a i7 4820K @ 4.6GHZ 16GB DDR3 2400MHZ and R9 290X O.C. Without ENB i get 48fps-65fps on 3840x2160 skyrim Ultra INI settings. when ENB ON! REAL VISIONS FULL QUALITY A, I get down to 15-18FPS I have spent a lot of time and found that editing the following items in ENB Settings (SHIFT-ENTER) & Skyrim/skyrimprefs.ini in Documents/my Games/Skyrim folder of your computer try the following for better performance and MINIMAL impact of graphical Quality.. search for these in skyrimprefs.ini bDoDepthOfField=1-->0 fShadowDistance=8000.0000 -->4000.0000 iShadowMapResolutionSecondary=1024-->512 iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=2048-->1024 iShadowSplitCount=4-->1 fLeafAnimDampenDistEnd=3000.0000-->1500.0000 fLeafAnimDampenDistStart=2600.0000-->1300.0000 fTreesMidLODSwitchDist=10000000.0000-->1000000.0000 (1 zero removed) bShadowMaskZPrepass=1-->0 iShadowMapResolution=2048-->1024 Those settings were best impact when modified.. you can take my settings which are after (-->) or try lowering even more.. in ENB itself.. try the following to gain performance even more then the INI tweaks...) in SSAO, Untick Enable complex in Skylighting, change filter quality to low in shadow, turn use bilateral to off. reflections, change filter quality to low. reflections, untick enable exterior.. water, shadow quality to low I found these settings improved performance the most with minimal impact on quality... all other settings can be left HIGH.. as I perfer to keep quality and I found these settings didnt alter issues too much lastly.. I did something extreme.. makes graphics look a little out of whack but liveable and gives best FPS Gain.. you can change to your prefs... in Engine settings of ENB (Shift Enter) ForceAnisotropicFiltering=true MaxAnisotropy=16-->2 ForceLodBias=false-->true LodBias=0-->-0.7 (Minus 0.7) AddDisplaySuperSamplingResolutions=false EnableVSync=false VSyncSkipNumFrames=0 The Idea here is (removing anisotropy) which was giving me 4-5fps gains when enabling Negative LOD and forcing ansio... to 2 gave in my opinions great results visually.. After all the bullshitting around.. I had where standing on bridge in RiverRun looking at water wheel.. into distance.. Was 15.9-17 FPS, now.. I get 26-28FPS NOW NOTE... My screen is 4K and at this resolution the game LOOKS VERY SPECIAL even after the changes I made.. So truly the changes were minimal in my opinions and I will run around a little more to see if I can see any bad graphics.. but my little run around yesterday looks fine.. remember 2160 vs 1080 I'm unsure of results for your system... but this works well for me.   24. thankyou for your comments, I will read your linked pages when I get a chance.. If you can simply answer.. Do custom Races require scripts? even if they take all information from simrim.esm As the Mod I am making is simply a Body Replacer Set of Races, EG: CBBE Nord, UNP Nort, DreamGirl Nord and so on, I simply use nord race and duplicate that. Then I tell it to use it's own textures etc. from a specific folder If it's basically just a Race Dupe with different body look does it require scrips and other crazy advanced stuff?
