  1. I usually avoid Followers as well but I have come to like "Heather" she is a MOD follower that is actually worth having.
  2. It has been almost a week and I have nothing but good things to say about the Heather Casdin follower MOD, it is another winner from a very good author and MOD maker.
  3. "There is a VERY GOOD mod called Heather Casdin" Good call, thanks. I am now using this follower and so far my new companion is doing very well. It's still early, if anything changes I will come back and update the post.
  4. Fallout 76 is such a buggy release Bethesda should be ashamed of themselves for damn near stealing thousands of people's money. I hope that they will improve the game thru patching to make it way more playable. But I will still be going to work every morning hopefully with weekends off
  5. I installed this Mod yesterday, wow what a great improvement to the game!
  6. I have noticed if you call out some of the issues at Bethesda's official Fallout 76 forums that their Akisnet forum support company will stop letting you post on the forums by marking every comment that you try to post as "spam". I found after they did this to me that if I deleted my "cookies" folder in Firefox that I could then post. In retaliation they now have been resetting my forum reputation to "100" everyday. Taking away "likes" from many of my posts. Other player's have also been posting about this technique that they are using on their official forums. I understand that they are trying to protect their product but man it is such a buggy product that it encourages forum conversation about the incredible amount of bugs in their release version of Fallout 76. I am the same as many, many other Fallout fans in that I want to enjoy playing Fallout 76 and see the game improve thru patching and I believe that we should be able to discuss that on the official Bethesda forums without their underhanded Akisnet (Bethesda company support staff) tricks. Fallout 76 as of right now IMHO is about a 6/10 and sorely needs to improve with an incredible amount of bug fixes needed. I really hope that Bethesda can deliver a fun, working game with Fallout 76 which as of now is often tremendously frustrating to play.
  7. Neither my wife's nor my mics work in Fallout 76 and we can only hear maybe 20 percent of other players. We have been unable to fix the problem. My wife uses Logitec cordless headphones and mic. I use Turtle Beach cordless headphones and mic. Fallout 76 dosen't want to respond to either product. Fallout 76 is a crap game release that is ridden with bugs, we are hoping that many of the bugs that we are experiencing including player communication will be addressed soon in an upcoming patch or patches.
  8. .ini file changes... https://www.reddit.com/r/fo76/comments/9wv1fb/pchow_to_change_fallout_76_pipboy_light_and_menu/
  9. Too many fecking freckles! Other then that she is pretty cute.
  10. Yeah, I have done all of those things and more. My game was running fine with about 200 mods before the Creation Club update. After the update my wife's computer started crashing the game and so did mine. I happened to have a fairly current copy of my Fallout 4 .exe file so I dropped it into the Fallout 4 directory, overwrote the new .exe file and my game ran fine. I waited a couple of days for things that Bethesda updated to stabilize (that's what it usually takes) and like a dummy I went ahead and updated my game. Things have been going downhill since that time. I am now down to running about 100 mods, no SKSE or anything that needs the script-extender and finally an hour or two ago I got the game to stabilize. I don't know for how long it will run but it has only crashed once in the past couple of hours instead of more downtime then game time. I also updated SKSE when they made that available and ran it with the updated game files but no joy. As of right now my game is running, not in modified survival mode where I usually like to play (that takes skse for me) but I can play the game for now which I am happy with. I have spent more time this past week trying to get the game to run then actually playing but it seems I may have found a groove that will be stable. Thanks for taking the time to post.
  11. This last update has sure been a pain in the ass. I am so tried of redoing and reinstalling the game and mods that I am about to give up on Fallout 4. I am down to not running SKSE and any dependent mods and the game is still incredibly unstable. I have deleted and reinstalled the game and mods so often since the last update, probably a complete redo about 7 or 8 times. I am getting sick of playing all of the early quests so often that I may not even make it to the mid game stuff at this point. I use to be able to run Fallout 4 with about 200 mods and have no major stability issues. I have gone to running about 100 (some are very small mods) and I am still regularly crashing to the point of frustration. I am to the point where I am almost wondering if this was an intentional move by Bethesda to force their damned Creation Club upon us! I know that's not likely the issue and it's more like lot's of mods need to be updated since the Creation Club update but it's more fun to speculate then to try and play this frustrating, unstable mess called modded Fallout 4. Grrr, I sure hope I can find a solution soon before I get so frustrated that I give up on the game. I also plan on resisting this damned Creation Club permanently if I can. GRRRR>>>>>RANT OVER, out.
  12. Yeah, at this point in time Fallout 4, F4SE and dependent Mods are a mess. My wife and I on two different computers have been dealing with constant crashes since the update. LOOT dosen't help, tinkering with updating mods, src folders, windowed mode, full screen mode, verifying file integrity, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, the mods and F4SE...nothing works for any length of time. This Creation Club mess is killing the re-playability of Fallout 4. I have now uninstalled F4SE and mods dependent on F4SE to see how long Fallout 4 will run without crashing with just regular mods. I am not enthusiastic about my chances.
