  1. Howdy, I have a problem that gets worse and worse as I play. Whenever I enter a city or some building (an inn for example), NPC's all cramped tightly together in the center of the room or town and then all proceed to go to their "stations". Even in the middle of the night they'll all be there and then proceed to walk home to sleep. That didn't happen in the beginning of the game, but now as more and more hours gets sinked into the game it gets worse and worse. It is unbearably annoying. What is this? Save file bloat? Script problems? How can I cure this? Please help.
  2. OP get out of Whiterun more often :P But, yeah I wish people would act like strangers if they are actually strangers, that is not talk to you unless you bump into them ("Hey, watch it!). That doesn't include vendors etc. and people you had "history" with. Personally I more dislike quotes that aren't usually repeated much, but nonetheless the logical dissonance of people I don't know knowing I'm dragonborn or insert whatever and commenting on stuff yet at the same time some dare asking who am I? Saying that I'm a whelp nobody milk drinker who needs to prove myself... Who am I? WHO AM I? I'm Dragonborn, Thane and savior of Whiterun, YOUR city I might point out, Thane of Haafingar, Thane of the Reach, who are YOU?
  3. I agree with pretty much everything, but why wouldn't an archer pick a swift daedric dagger instead of elven? There's no difference in speed, just a bit heavier, while getting enough dps to make a difference when say sneak stabbing with 15x damage. In TESVI I'd like more interesting difference between different material armor and weapons, without plain "better & heavier" as you go up. Maybe some would be heavier than others, but more durable (don't break as easy, assuming item degradation is brought back), other make for more finesse blades (more damage with blades, or faster with lighter metal), while others make for better maces (heavier and more durable metal and hence more dps), some make for better weapons than armor and vice versa... etc. etc. With some being better than average and very light and reasonably durable, while being extremely rare (NOT until you hit certain level, damn I hope that system dies someday) and ridiculously expensive to make. This I want.
  4. Hello, I'm tired of setting up my armor sets with total of 104% (4x26%) fortify one-handed or 39% of whatever. I want those lovely even numbers like 20, 25, etc. I don't want a mod that changes balance and stuff, like removing all limits etc. All I want is a mod that allows me to adjust passive effects down from max instead of forcing max numbers on me. It just disturbs me beyond reasonable (I know) when I have sets with all kinds of annoying numbers like 11 that, 34 this, 27 that etc. :)
  5. Yes but no matter how the item is named, if they have same effect, it will be one of them listed twice in the passive effects as long as the effect is the same (I think).
  6. After playing a bit, it seems at least that NPC's are present so far for their conversations. Tried with first entering Windhelm. Two dialogues played out (the one in front of the gates and little boy with dunmer under the Aretino residence), all present for the conversation. Not sure if there's supposed to be more in Windhelm. Also "Blood On The Ice" started right away with the first entry (not related). Will have to test another city, but looks promising, so thanks :) Clustering in the inn though seems to be still present, also have to try other inns in major cities. That said, there still seems to be all kinds of weirdness with NPC behavior, but I guess I'll have to accept it as part of TES, as I can't find any patterns or ties with mods etc.
  7. It seems I only have "fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0" line. Should I add those other 2, or edit only this one?
  8. I searched nexus mods for an hour now unsuccessful. There's a couple of things I'd like a fix for: 1. Texture glitching in Vlindrel Hall, the floor just outside the alchemy room. i'm assuming there's quite a few such and other bugs in player homes. I remember Proudspire Manor was infested with these on my play through 2 years ago. Is there mods to fix those, or are they all pretty much fixed with Unofficial Skyrim patches and or SKSE, which I'm using? If so, could it be because of a lighting mod? 2. And this is important. When I enchant 2 items (say armor and a ring) with the same effect (say fortify health 30 points), in passive effects it lists them as: Elven Armor of Health - 30 points Elven Armor of Health - 30 points instead of: Elven Armor of Health - 30 Silver Ring of Health - 30 :/ Is there a fix for that? So annoying :)
  9. Ok, I'll try this. First time I ever hear of "papyrus", but I'm right in assuming it's some lines found in ini? Same where you can set shadows on rocks and tree canopies, right?
  10. Yes, I was talking about Amren. Though it did rain just before I entered Solitude (in my Solitude example) if I remember correctly, it didn't rain in Whiterun (again, if I remember correctly). I guess it would be logical, since one mod makes people go inside when raining (not sure if I disabled that feature) and another two make them run inside if dragon or vampires attack. But these kind of things (like Amren) happened before I even installed Frostfall and other game changing mods. I think I might have had it happen on Xbox as well? Or my memory is playing tricks on me. But people being cramped together in a room, that's new. What could cause that?
  11. Two problems with NPC behavior: 1: They are often not where they're supposed to be when there's a dialogue between them. Example: - That Redguard dude in Whiterun "arguing" with his wife about the sword. Or rather he's speaking to himself, while his wife either walks from their house to the spot he's embarrasing himself on, or away from that spot, all while he's speaking to himself. Sometimes the wife speaks back while being half the city across. - Battleborn - Gray-Mane conflict in the market where two battleborns speak with that Gray-Mane lady about the missing son. Only one of them present, the other one is apparently walking all the way from his home to the spot. By the time he arrives, the dialogue is over, sometimes he manages to say a line while walking past breezehome. - First time in Solitude, execution, a guy speaks to his daughter about going home so she won't have to see. If only she'd be there though. So everyone is just waiting for the girl to walk (not run) all the way from Blue Palace apparently towards her father, only to turn around (since dialogue's already said) and run, so the execution may proceed. Very tiresome :( 2: Whenever I enter a house, be it an inn, a palace or another public place (merchants seem unaffected by the disease), all NPC's, except the merchants, are in the middle of the room, cramped together and then proceed to scatter acroos the room going about their business. Extremely annoying. So is there a way to cure this? A mod perhaps? Would really be a savior. Don't know if any mods are causing that, but from the top of my head, the biggest ones are: Frostfall RealisticNeeds Cold & Wet Cloaks & WIC Run for your lives When vampires attack
  12. It was fire, yes. I don't see it that way, enchantment still stays, just needs recharging :P ...but if so, I need more victims... hmm...
  13. I do miss Oblivion zombies to some extend. There was much more poop in my pants when suddenly that meat bag crawled out of the darkness in a cave. They also looked disgusting and I didn't want them to touch me. When Skyrim was released, I wanted to be a dark necromancer char, but raising recently fallen, who then turned to ash (that damn annoying ash) was old and boring pretty fast. I wish there was different kind of corpses here and there (in half decay condition etc.) for you to possibly raise, who'd then act like zombies in Oblivion.
  14. You don't murder people out of spite! That is disgusting! No matter how annoying they might be! Only when I accumulated high enough enchantment skill and enough black soul gems (or black Azura's star). Then I proceed to find a young woman from every hold, entrap their soul with my "Harvester" dagger and enchant an item (that will hold their name) to be part of my "Soul Eater" set. That is the ONLY time it's acceptable. "Ysolda" is my most prized sword.
