  1. Not to but in butt, is there anyway to look at the file list that are archived.
  2. I am noticing a lot of delete suggestions in the extensions list, are we to delete them? If there is an area that explains this already please leave a link.
  3. If your SKSE64 is not working, you either, have a mismatch with the SkyrimSE.exe or you have installed it wrong. Some people don’t pay close enough attention to which version they are downloading, make sure that’s not you. Current SE build 2.0.17 (runtime 1.5.97) Runtime meaning SkyrimSE.exe’s properties/details shows product version 1.5.97.0 On a side note, SkyUI is NOT version specific, it works with any and all SKSE64 versions.
  4. From what I remember that type of downloading is forbidden. There is programs out there to do this, but I beleave they are blocked from Nexus.
  5. Check that you have your hardlink on.
  6. I get that, but what about the gamebryo engine part. BSW doesn't use that. So that is that I'm all set. What an odd occurrence, all well that ends well. Thank you kindly for all your support.
  7. Well reinstall did not work, so I derided to disable Fallout 4 in GENERAL/EXTENSIONS which caused Vortex to inform me to restart. After restart I went back to GENERAL/EXTENSIONS, enabled Fallout 4 then restarted, low and behold game was found. I do have a new issue warnings about mods can't be deployed, but it doesn't make any sense. It is stating that Symlink Deployment doesn't work with games based on gamebryo engine (games including Skyrim SE and Fallout 4).
  8. Well I guess I will download Vortex and try reinstalling. I have used the same folder since Alpha (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex) so I assume it will just overwrite the files that are there. I do wonder if it will give me a warning about it being the same version and not install. Any words of wisdom before I do this? I am not in a hurry tho, I having really played FO4 long enough to decide on mods. (off topic I know but wow what cool game)
  9. No I am afraid it is you that needs to pay more attention when you view a video. Gopher told you not to put the files there.
  10. I could be wrong but I think I saw this before and was solved with different profiles.
  11. Shows Discovery complete no new games found.
  12. I see in the General/Extensions FO4 is on the list, if this helps. It shows enabled, not sure what this area is tho.
  13. Yes. I am modding SkyrimSE and FO3 and all is fine. I don't even see FO4 in games that Vortex can manage.
  14. Yes. I pointed Vortex right to the fallout4 folder in D:/Games/steam/steamapps/common/fallout4 I see Fallout4.exe but Vortex doesn't.
  15. Win7 Vortex stable 0.16.15 I am managing Skyrim SE and FO3, but FO4 does not show up in games able to be managed.
  16. Well one can always hope, but no this will never happen. I understand some people can't afford change but they will have to, 32bit computing/gaming is basically gone.
  17. Thanks to the entire Vortex Team. Job well done. I to started with Alpha after the easy learning vids from Gopher.(he is a star in his own right) I have tried over the years to learn modding but just could not understand the basics. Don't know why just was intimidating, maybe cause I am in my 60s. But with those vids and Vortex WOW doesn't get any easier than that. I would not worry about the naysayers there will always will be some of them. Great manager Thanks a million to all.
  18. Thanks for response. I kinda assumed that, but the way the information on installing SKSE64, it was not really clear about that. Thanks again
  19. When I use the SKSE64_loader the game loads up but it says SKSE is not running. If I load Steam up, and then use the SKSE64_loader it works fine. For some reason if Steam is not running the SKSE64_loader doesn't load SKSE64.
