  1. Could someone please make a mod to allow you to use Swan's Pond as a settlement after getting rid of Swan? I like the area and think it would be a cool place for a settlement.
  2. There is a sort of black smoky effect on the Corrupted Shades in the Meridia quest. I was just digging around the creation kit and the effect is a spell called "AbSkeletonNecro" and there is another one called "AbSkeletonNecroPriest"
  3. Actually Lycanthropy in Elder Scrolls doesn't work like that. In order for someone to be a werebeast they have to contract lycanthropy from that specific creature. There aren't any werecrocs, werelions, in Skyrim. You contract lycanthropy from Aela whom is a werewolf thus you become a werewolf. Now if she was something else like a wereboar then you'd become a wereboar regardless of race etc. None the less though more werebeast options would be nice to choose from. Maybe someone could add the different werebeasts to Skyrim, however make them rare like the werecroc, and werelion and allow you to catch the different forms of lycanthropy from the various werebeasts. That would be awesome. Now the race based vampire lord is something that a lot of people want myself included though unfortunately not many willing mod authors visit the request section. There was another thread where someone drew up some concept art and gave some awesome ideas as well. I really hope someone takes up this idea. In my opinion this should have been something already in the game.
  4. That's actually a pretty cool idea. Instead of just walking into his shack and beating him, or telling him off it would make more sense for a big scene in front of other people to be what would damage his confidence.
  5. Lol she's serious about the lore but she wants you to make a mod based on a new race that isn't lore friendly? You could always do something else for her birthday. I'm sure she'd understand after all editing a mesh alone is probably not something even slightly possible for someone who has never modded before. Though from the looks of it you've already got someone possibly willing to help. The Tillion seem pretty cool though. Good luck.
  6. I'm not a fan of Travis's personality after completing the "Confidence Man" quest, but I end up completing it anyway due to the lack of things to do. Now I know there are a number of ways to change it back with console commands and some mods out there, but what I'm suggesting is something else. After completing the quest you can get the option of destroying Travis's confidence by doing 1 of two things. 1. Beat him within an inch of his life thus scaring him back into a nervous wreck. 2. Initiate dialogue with him and insult him with something soul crushing that destroys his confidence and turns him into a nervous wreck.
  7. I also have been looking for a mod like this. I'm deep into the roleplaying aspect of Skyrim and my character is very picky about his after life and the whole Nightingale thing seems like a bad deal, so it's unlikely he would go through with it. Giving up the opportunity for a few pretty useless abilities in order to keep your soul seems logical.
  8. Just an idea considering it would require new custom animations to go along with it. Basically craftable exercise poles that settlers can be assigned to and will dance generating happiness for the settlement. Good for those wanting to build a nightclub, or something of the sort.
  9. I support that idea. As of currently Azuara's Star isn't really anything special, so most people go the alternate route in the quest and choose the Black Star. Though if the Star could hold a dragon's soul that is a lot more powerful than a grand soul then It'd give a good reason to choose to take the Star to Azura instead. Also I don't know if you played Oblivion, but there was actually something akin to a black grand soul gem. It was called a Colossal Black Soul Gem.
  10. If it unrolls just re-roll it. Not too complicated unless someone for whatever reason spins the whole roll off.
  11. Dragons do not have black souls according to lore thus a black soul gem would not be able to capture a dragon's soul. The only thing that should if at all be able to hold a dragon's soul is Azura's Star considering it can be used to capture the soul of Vivec and Almalexia in Morrowind. Both of which are basically gods and I'm sure are more powerful than a dragon, which are also in a way divine beings themselves.
  12. After you kill Alduin you don't absorb his soul and it is hinted that he will one day return to devour the world in the distant future. Though after you kill Alduin it would be cool if you could learn a shout that would allow you to summon a weakened form of Alduin to fight for you. Preferably like how you can summon Durnehviir from the Soul Cairn in Dawnguard and he appears from thin air. The shout could be Bel (Summon) Lein (World) Naak (Eater)
  13. The armor worn by the supersoldaten, or super soldiers in Wolfenstein would be a pretty awesome type of power armor. There could be two versions, the older prototype version and the more advanced version. Advanced version Early prototype version
  14. From the looks of it this only replaces the pre-war toilet paper rolls. Considering the pre-war portion of the game is like 4 minutes long that doesn't bother me much. There aren't any cats in the Institute that I know of though.
  15. If you've been to the institute you might notice something out of place/wrong if you explore a bit. What is that you might ask? Well Bethesda decided to have the toilet paper rolls in the bathrooms to hang under rather than the correct way to which toilet paper should be on the roll, which is hanging over. I never play through the institute ending because I cannot let a place full of people who don't know how toilet paper works to live and always ending up destroying the institute as a result for that one reason. Someone please fix the toilet paper and put it in the hanging over position as is the correct way to hang toilet paper.
  16. I'd like to request, or suggest a suit of Medieval armor worn by knights back in the day. Now the suit of course isn't something that would break the lore (No fantasy elements to it, just a set of historical armor) and it could be placed somewhere that makes sense like a museum or some place else and you can go nab it and decide to wear it around the Commonwealth. Though seeing as there aren't really any historical museums around the commonwealth, maybe have it on display in some wealthy pre-war home? Maybe the Cabot House could have the suit on display in their home as a decoration? Just ideas. http://www.wassonartistry.com/images/armor/late15thcent/IMG_0192.JPG Also there could be an alternate suit that is more of a sort of patchwork wastelander style armor. Instead of it being a full suit of pristine armor maybe an outfit with the helmet, breastplate, a gauntlet, and the boots being worn or rusted. Maybe have a tire or something over the shoulder and other makeshift parts made from scavenged everyday materials you would find in the commonwealth. http://www.arcents.co.uk/images/Derek_Carpenter_Sir_Clankalot.jpg Kind of like this (without the cape), but more wastelandish and missing pieces like pauldrons and a gauntlet, or something.
  17. A simple request to be able to plant the experimental plant found on the Prydwen. Surprised I haven't seen any mods that allow you to plant it yet. Also depending on how easy it would be possibly add a craftable tea (Doesn't need any fancy new meshes) to the cooking menu considering the brotherhood mention making a tea from it. Also the terminal mentions it is addictive, so maybe make the tea you can brew be addictive.
  18. So there are some interesting theories that M'aiq is just some random khajiit that achieved CHIM basically meaning he would be a god. This is supported by some of the things he says. Now what would be cool is a simple mod that adds some kind of shrine somewhere in the game, this shrine being to M'aiq The Liar himself. Preferably a shrine that gives a blessing like other shrines in the game. Don't know what kind of blessing it would give. Maybe something dealing with speechcraft? Now the mod idea itself could be interpreted by the player in whatever way they choose, but it would be cool to have it ambiguous as in not outright saying M'aiq is some divine being, or unknown daedric prince. Maybe some random misguided person set up a shrine to M'aiq thinking he was a humble god, but in fact he's just another Khajiit (This being supported by the possibility that there are multiple M'aiqs throughout history, or its just a family thing and all the male khajiit in the family were named M'aiq)? So basically the whole idea behind the mod is that some random guy/gal or group of people saw Maiq as some sort of god due to his knowledge of a number of things and them discovering there have been mention of M'aiq throughout history leading them to believe he is a god. Due to this a shrine was built in honor of M'aiq as if he was a god. Now they could just be crazy and misinformed, or maybe they are right? Who knows. Now for the shrine I don't know what it would look like, but maybe have a few bottles of Skooma or wine and some other things like maybe an Amulet of M'aiq? Maybe every now and then M'aiq will randomly spawn at, or stop by the shrine? Just an idea.
  19. Pretty straightforward simple request for a mod that lets you loot skulls from Humans and Ghouls. I like collecting skulls and using them for decorating, however it would be so much more satisfying to actually be able to use the skulls of my kills to decorate instead of a skull from a dead body laying along the road.
  20. Can someone please make a legion armor mod? We've got NCR mods, but no Legion mods. Nothing complicated like centurion armor, but just a simple legionary armor. If anyone does decide to do this maybe make it upgradable from different versions like say upgrade it from recruit armor to prime armor to veteran armor and it changes appearance in accordance. Also ballistic weave would be nice if this ever does happen.
  21. An idea for a mod that allows alternate uses for the Mysterious Serum. 1. The Mysterious Serum will cure molerat disease should you contract it in Vault 81. Then instead of having to exploit the game, or using console commands to keep the cure and finish the quest on a good note you can simply use the serum to cure yourself. 2. This is a more complicated idea, but what if you could use the Mysterious Serum to cure Shaun's cancer? This would probably require changing up some of the Institute quests so that instead of him dying and you becoming leader of the Institute he just steps down and you still lead the Institute. Shaun then hangs around the Institute in his room like usual.
  22. I didn't see anything that did this on the nexus yet, but if there is a mod that does this please let me know. Pretty much a straightforward request to be able to craft those creepy looking cymbal monkeys you can find in the game. I don't know if it would be possible to have a version that claps the cymbals with glowing eyes, but if that would be possible along with a non-clapping one that'd be awesome.
  23. I've always wanted to be able to wear a deathclaw skull and the only problem with that is not many people would want to create one from scratch. I just noticed that Erikson the super mutant from Far Harbor has a deathclaw skull on his outfit that could probably be separated and rigged as a helmet. If someone could do this that'd be awesome.
  24. Didn't think of that. Thanks for the info I'll try that out.
