The dating system is one of my favorite mods. I'm very interested in this mod and wish you great success with it. Will it be compatible with COBL? COBL has a food and fatigue system in it. If I could suggest anything, it would be to have 2 versions of this mod. One with the fatigue and food part and the other without. At best, I'm a very basic modder. Basically races and spells and few other things. But if there is anything I can do that would be helpful, I would be happy to help. I'm willing to test it out before release if you like. I will be first in line for this mod when it's ready. Thank you for your previous mods and I really look foreword to this one!!

Woo! Thank you both!! I have both Blender and Wings. After checking out this mod, I'm gonna add your tut to my favorites. Thanks to both of you!! Happy gaming!

Yes it did! That's exactly what the tutorial (that I can't find) said. Thanks you!

...if it is, in fact, simple.

I'm going through the Blender tutorials but they are difficult. I'm still working at it, though. In the meantime, I've been going through all of this just so I can http://l.yimg.com/g/images/spaceball.gifmake a simple frame drum. It's just a round, thin (about 3 inches thick) handheld drum. They can be 1 sided with a hollow back, or double sided (Shaman Drum) I can make them in 5 minutes on Wings3d but getting that into the game requires an animal sacrifice and some blood (in other words, it ain't gonna happen.) If someone has made one and wouldn't mind sharing or wouldn't mind whipping one up real quick, that would be awesome. I'll try to do the rest of what's needed to get it working in the game. Thanks!http://i.ytimg.com/vi/LF7ybVKX2p4/0.jpg

I once saw a brief tutorial on how to add hair from a race mod tp the main cs hair list. Anyone know where it is/went? Are there other ways to do it? I'm comfortable with the CS an race menus. Any help/direction is appreciated.

Hey, thanks for the reply! What I've done, for now, is created 3 lesser powers that have the attributes in them that I want for my character. They each last 300 seconds (5 minutes) I figure that's long enough to get through a cave, ruin, fight, or anything else. Here's the facts- I have race named Harfoot (A type of Hobbit based on Tolkens description) I have 3 lesser powers- Burglar=Stealth, security, athletics +50, Mischief=Alchemy, Acrobatics, Marksman, Speed +50, and Trickster=Speechcraft, Illusion, Mysticism +50, all for 5 minutes. This way I can set the "buff" for whatever I'm about to do. I created all the buffs, but they didn't show up again, so I have to work with them a bit to get them on my Hobbit. I delete the character completely before I apply the spells, then create a new Hobbit. The spells still haven't shown up, but I understand what you mean. Thank you for the help! I appreciate it. Happy gaming to you!

I was wondering how you go about making a spell that operates with a toggle. In other words, you click the icon and say for example you get night vision and it stays on until you click the icon again. I wanna make a "buff" spell to make my hobbit play like my burglar in LotRo. Mischief- Toggle on to increase my strength, blade, blunt, and speed. This is for charging into combat when stealth isn't wanted or practical. Another question that I have is when I create spells or lesser powers, despite them being saved into the game, when I apply them to my race, they don't show up. Sometimes they do, most times they don't. I can't figure it out.

Why do many Oblivion fans tend not to like Dragon Age?
moxica replied to SpellAndShield's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
Oblivion has freedom. The modding gives it endless life. DA was fun for a while, then I got tired of it. Too restrictive for me. I hate EA with a white hot passion and wish it would collapse into a flaming smoldering pile of pig poop as soon as possible. It would be the equivalent of finding the cure for cancer and Ebola combined. -
I find it much easier to use because it's idiot friendly. I'm an idiot with Blender so this is perfect for me. Before I go all out in Wings, does anyone know if it will work with Nif? I don't see why it wouldn't but if anyone has had some experience with it, it would be helpful. Edit-Totally disregard this thread. Not only does it work but there is a downloadable tutorial on this very site.http://thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/Dark/wacko.gif Loser strikes again...

I remember there being a mod that gave first person view a bit more of a Mirror's Edge look. You can see your hands when you run and swim Was I imagining that, or does it exist? Update- Nevermind, I found it.

I thought I'd post this link as a reference. I like how there isn't a great deal of movement involved and the drum position is very nice. Like I said, I have no clue how to animate but if someone does, that's a good start. ll try to add sound and a script to get it to work if someone makes the animation. If someone really likes the idea and wants to do the whole thing, be my guest and take all the credit. It's just an idea that I came up with in a dream. I thought it would work nice in game.

I'm interested in a very simple drum animation. A small handheld drum like the Pueblo and Eskimo peoples of America , or the Lapp people of North Scandinavia. They're not much more than a foot wide and held in one hand while the other hand drums out a steady rhythm. I don't know how to do animations. If someone likes the idea and does do animations, if you decide to make it, I'll try to do the rest. What I'm after is a Druid type heal that allows a player (Druid or Shaman) to sit crossed legged or even just stand and drum/meditate their health back to full or until interrupted. It would be an out of combat only mod. I think it would be pretty immersive. I've looked on Tes and goggled it but got no results other than the Taiko resource. They are too big. Thanks!

There's one for Fallout3 and it looks pretty good. Maybe just make it playable for oblivion, someone? I would if I knew how...

She's a Drow. I don't know about the rest. Thanks :D After downloading the Drow mod, they are the only race I play. Even created my own! They are my favorites! You're very welcome. Enjoy!

AH JEEZ!!!!!!!! I didn't check yours. ROFL!! I was in a real hurry and just tossed that up there. My bad! Guess that'll teach me to pay closer attention. Hey, at least we have good taste. I'm quite embarrassed about that. Lol Thanks for pointing that out. :whistling:

Yea, but it's the only thing that I checked. It's not working?

I'm afraid my question might have been overlooked being one of the last few on the page, so I'm reposting it, I would really like to know which mod this is, if anyone knows. This one uses a hotkey for feeding, rather than spell. I don't remember if any others do it. And what do you mean by choosing? Don't you get to choose in vanilla? what I meant was that instead of your victim being asleep you could feed on them while awake. This one doesn't say anything about feeding, except to give you a console command that will set your blood level to maximum, but I will download it and try it out. Don't know if you, or anyone else has mentioned it but there is LTD's Vampire Overhaul http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27329 It allows you to hypnotize a victim and they will allow you to feed on them at will. If you feed too much it can kill them, though. If you manage to hypnotize a caster that can heal themselves, you've got it made. One thing that I noticed was that if you get certain npc's that are part of a quest or storyline, once you take them back to the lair, they tend to go back home, but you can feed on them there, if need be. This makes it possible to set up feeding buddies all over the map. You can turn vampirism on and off whenever you want and it is very customizable. I prefer to get bit and become one that way. You get quests from the one that bit you and the enhancements that you get to choose from as you complete quests are very nice. I hate vampires in this game, but this mod is one that changed my mind. Check it out and see what you think.

Some inns and caves are now bottomless pits
moxica replied to moxica's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Well how 'bout that? There's a fix for my issue on the same page as the original mod :whistling: I knew it was there, I just wanted to see if anyone else did... Sometimes you look so far ahead you miss what's right in front of you  -

moxica replied to moxica's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
Well, it turns out it was Crafty Bits. I don't know why but it makes certain interiors go away. That's kind of a drag but it is in Beta. I liked that one. Problem solved, though. Thanks for giving me a starting point!! -

I have 139 plugins. I don't know where to find the BSA's, sorry. I'm still learning this stuff  All of your posts were helpful, though and I now have somewhere to start. I'm going to disable all of the recent ones and go from there. I lost track of the load order, sorry about that. Thanks guys. You were helpful. If I find the problem, I'll let you know. Happy hunting! -
I loaded several mods over a couple a days. One of them wiped out some interiors of certain inns and caves. When I go in, I just fall through space with everyone else that is inside. Before I start going through all of my mods, one at a time, I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem with any mod, which one it was, or is there any other way to get the interiors back.
