  1. Language problems have always troubled Skyrim modding. Game and system language conflicts have also sometimes caused game to crash to desktop after Bethesda logo. First and foremost, are you running the game through SKSE launcher? I pointed this out, because your picture shows the default launcher, instead of SKSE launcher. Steam should detect SKSE through the launcher, but that depends on overlay settings. Application (or rather it's Steam integration) may have few more problems as well, but those are yet unconfirmed. If you were running the game through SKSE launcher, then try to disable the Steam application and using standalone installer version from Silverlock site instead. SKSE http://skse.silverlock.org/ As entirely another matter, I noticed that conflicts in your MO left panel are not sorted out. Your resource priorities are loaded in the wrong order and that will cause further problems in your game. I would recommend sorting the left panel closely to right panel load order, after the load order has been set with LOOT. If you intend to use mods and tools that cause any data to overwrite (for example creating Bashed Patch, which is strongly recommended), then I would recommend creating Output folders for each of them. I have opened these matters in this Steam forum post. I should probably ask, if I could create a similar (or mirror) post for Nexus as well. Load order and resource priority basics http://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/523890681419356033/
  2. Try this. Guide is missing a few things and needs to be rewritten for better wording. I will get to it during this weekend or next week. But, as far as basic information goes, then it should tell what is going on. One or more files is missing a master file from DLC or mod set as a master for it. LOOT (recommended in every case, because it is used to sort the load order) and/or TES5Edit (xEdit) would tell you what is missing.
  3. If you have mods, then have you sorted your load order with Load Order Optimization Tool - LOOT? Click the three lines, after LOOT has loaded. Click "APPLY" once it has finished. LOOT https://loot.github.io/ If you did not have mods, or running LOOT did not fix your problem, then try installing SKSE (if you already have not done so) and creating skse.ini configuration file for it. This will adjust the Skyrim memory allocation and usually help with infinite or extended loading screens. SKSE is available from Silverlock and I recommend using the installer version. SKSE also available as a free Steam application. SKSE http://skse.silverlock.org/ - Copy the content to Notepad. The [MEMORY] and content below it are relevant parts in your case. Using the content under [General] is also strongly recommended. The [Display] mostly affects to makeup textures. Leave it out or in, as you like. [General] EnableDiagnostics=1 ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Display] iTintTextureResolution=2048 [Memory] defaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 scrapHeapSizeMB=256 - Save file as skse.ini and make sure that you do not accidentally save it as skse.ini.txt. This can be avoided by selecting "All Files" from the save format dropdown menu and just typing the skse.ini to name field. - Move the file under ...SteamApps/common/Skyrim/Data/SKSE. If SKSE folder does not exist, then create it there.
  4. Cloud Sync is not required for save files to work. I do not have sync active at all. There are few things that come to mind. Your Documents > My Games > Skyrim > Saves folders has been moved to read only mode. Make sure that those folders are not in read only mode, by right clicking and checking if the relevant selection is active. Your game master files may have been damaged. - Go to Steam client Library view. - Right click Skyrim. Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache.
  5. Wow. Blast from 2012. This tool should fix the problem. Type mfg reset command to console to reset your character's expression. Mfg Console by kapaer http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44596/?
  6. That's unfortunate. It might be best that you point this question directly to mod author and tell what you have already tried. Sorry that I could not help you any further.
  7. Before you continue, it might be best that you make sure that your official master files are not damaged. Try to verify the integrity of game cache with cleared appcache folder. I would also recommend that you backup your configuration files to another folder and redo them as well. If this process does not fix the problem, then at least we know that this is not related to broken master files, or messed up configuration files. Validating files is equal method to reinstalling the game and can even be more through. Full reinstall is usually only required, if you have third party files in your game folders and you can not track them down. I have posted instructions to Steam forums. They are also available there from pinned topic Player spreadsheet, if you need to find them again later. [Quick link] Validating master files http://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/535150948617437868/ I am very curious about "expired CD-key" problem. I have never heard about such thing before. If the game is correctly added to your Steam account, then it should be permanently available for you. Bottom line is that you should not need to use CD or key to reinstall the game. It should be available for you from Steam servers. If there is some confusion, then make sure to discuss the matter with Steam support. They can see the date and method the game was added to your library.
  8. Thank you. Trying it out right away. Does that mean I have to do this everytime after running LOOT? (Not a big problem, just wondering) Yes, unless you make exceptions for it. I just move those files manually. I do hope that this solves your problem. I will sign in tomorrow to see if it did.
  9. I can spot one common problem from there. Your Real Shelter files are in wrong order. LOOT does not yet place them correctly. Try the following. Real Shelter.esp after daymoyl.esm. RSPatch.esp right above Bashed Patch, 0.esp
  10. Are those files in correct folders? Skse.ini -> ...SteamApps/common/Skyrim/Data/SKSE Cras Fixes files -> ...SteamApps/common/Skyrim/Data/SKSE/Plugins
  11. If you are using recommended settings from Crash Fixes, then make sure that you have following installed as well. SKSE Plugin Preloader by meh321 and sheson http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75795/? MO has Arguments filed for this option. Do the following. Open MO Application dropdown list in right panel. Select <Edit...> Select SKSE There is a white field named Arguments. Add following text: -forcesteamloader Click ModifyYou should now be done.
  12. You are using Mod Organizer. Have you sorted your left panel resource priorities as well? That list manages the order for textures, meshes and scripts. If you have not done so, then try to match it quite closely to your load order to avoid problems. The same panel allows you to make sure that files you wish to take effect in your game (textures, meshes) are the wants that actually take the effect in your game. Files loaded last in the list have highest priority (like in your load order) and will appear in the game. Tell us, if this solved your problem. Additionally, your Real Shelter files are not in correct positions and this may cause problems for your. LOOT does not yet sort them correctly. I recommend that you try moving Real Shelter.esp as first gameplay ESP file in your load order, right below STEP Vanilla Optimized Textures - Standard.esp. You should also move RSPatch.esp as one of last files in your load order, right below Requiem - Live Another Life.esp.
  13. In response to post #24583709. #24583774, #24583929 are all replies on the same post. Gopher. If you have followed the conversation in Steam, you know that they do not have any community moderators there. Ilja and Nazenn have tried to contact Bethesda and Steam, but both have completely ignored them, or recommended turning to other. This has been going on for months. Steam forum has relied on global moderators for a long time now. I guess they could have used community moderators now. Conversation may have developed to better direction that way. I have made my own decisions about this mess. This includes using more Donate buttons here in Nexus, but I do hope that clunky PayPal system would have alternatives.
