  2. It's most likely from a mod. Post your mod list.
  3. You don't need Pretty Face if you're getting Enhanced Character Edit. The latest version of ECE includes Pretty Face.
  4. There will always be some degree of neck seams. Even the vanilla game has it.
  5. So a full reinstall didn't help either? On a new game with no mods? I'm stumped.
  6. We're in short supply of good quest/dungeon mods so I hope this gets released soon!
  7. I think it's the barbarian armor from Immersive Armors. The hood is from Immersive Armors or from Winter Is Coming.
  8. I wouldn't recommend Nvidia at the moment. Not until they sort out their driver issues. The last updates have been horrible. And the newest cards only run with the latest drivers, so you would have to 'hack' an older stable driver to get it to work with your fancy new card. I installed the latest driver the other day and instantly experienced terrible performance. I couldn't even use my web browser anymore without everything freezing periodically. I thought I screwed up somewhere or maybe my system was failing but then I checked the GeForce forums and everyone was complaining about problems with the new drivers. People were pissed actually. Luckily I still had the previous driver backed up and going back to it fixed all my problems. But I'm sure someone is going to come in and go "Well I just installed the experimental BETA and everything runs fine". Well maybe but the majority of people are having problems.
  9. For goodness sake. 7zip is not malware. It's a popular free program to open archives such as .rar or .zip or .7z files. You install 7zip and then click on the archive file to open it. In this case the file you got from the SKSE website: skse_1_06_16.7z. If you installed 7zip properly it should automatically assign archives to be opened with 7zip. But the SKSE webpage also has an installer option (.exe file), which should be more easy to use. Did you even look at Gopher's video on SKSE that I told you about? I'm sorry, but if you're having problems with these really basic things I think modding is not for you.
  10. I guess you didn't look very hard. A quick search gave me two mods that have the ring with inscriptions: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6356/ http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35920/
  11. Immersive Patrols has bandit groups that move around the map. Organized Bandits has bandit raids on towns.
  12. Uhm... doesn't Schlongs of Skyrim have an option to go from flaccid to erect? It's a pretty popular mod... Not sure though, I stay away from those sorts of mods.
  13. The RaceMenu mod right? Not the vanilla race menu? RaceMenu has a tab where you can select multiple warpaints: http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/29624-1-1361398533.jpg
  14. Eh, Skyrim Revisited is kind of advanced. The regular STEP is more for beginners.
  15. I've never played as a Khajiit. What helmets/hoods can't they wear?
  16. Kodelia from SGFollowers looks a bit like Emma Watson. I'm guessing your attached screenshot is from someone's uploaded images. Your best bet is messaging them.
  17. Yeah, I was disappointed you couldn't get Hadvar as a follower either. He seemed like a swell guy.
  18. You can browse the Top Files of all time on the Nexus website. You can try out some of the popular mods and see what you like. Just don't go crazy installing a 100 mods to beautify your Skyrim. Your computer might not be able to handle it. Even people with the best computers out there will experience performance issues if they install too many visual mods. Or one of them could cause a crash for some reason and then you won't be able to find out which mod is at fault. Add a few at a time, play around and see if you like them or if they cause any issues, then get a few more. And don't save your game until you know for sure you're going to keep the mod. Uninstalling visual mods like textures or models or new weapons and armor is safe but watch out with mods that contain scripts (mods that add new gameplay features etc.). Your save file will depend on them. If you have a save file from when you were using mods with scripts, and then uninstall those mods, the next time you load up your save it will look for the scripts that are no longer there and this can cause your game to crash. So only save your game when you are sure you're going to keep the mod.
  19. It might seem daunting at first but it's really not that complicated. If you know how to operate a computer and a web browser you'll be able to to install SkyUI. Installing mods does not require knowledge of programming. In most cases you also don't need to move any files around manually. Especially not if you use a mod manager, like the Nexus Mod Manager. The way you download mods from the Steam Workshop might seem easier, but it's much more limiting and it's auto update feature might break your save. Don't beat yourself up for not understanding how it works right away. I've been using computers all my life and when I first started modding I was really unsure too and afraid of messing up my game. But you can't really do any major damage. You can always re-download the game files from Steam. Gopher on youtube has a channel where he showcases mods and also shows how to install most of them. It's very beginner friendly. You can search his channel for SkyUI or SKSE (which is what you need to install before installing SkyUI). Hope that helps.
  20. Ah, I'm sorry, I had this problem before but I can't offer any solution. The only thing that made it go away for me was a complete reinstall... :(
  21. I'm a guy and I've only played as a guy. Usually I base my character on myself. Not because I'm a huge narcissist or anything. Just makes me feel more immersed. The only few times I've created a female was because I wanted to make a custom follower, and they were quite modest characters. To each his own.
  22. My character is a lone Breton mage. He enrolled in the Mages College but quickly grew tired of it. He's an animal lover and wants to explore all of Skyrim's creatures. When the Dragons returned he was thrilled and ventured out to study them. He quickly learned that most dragons are hostile and terrorize all of Skyrim. Very few were doing something against this menace so against his will he became a dragon hunter, still in the hopes that the next Dragon he encounters will be different.
  23. Yeah, it's stupid. At least mods like Run For Your Lives and When Vampires Attack fixed the townspeople from going after dragons and vampires.....
  24. The CK is really buggy and awkward. I tried making a companion several times but I got so frustrated I just gave up.
  25. Don't remind me. I bought them a day before the sale started. D'oh!
