  1. Not sure I understand. You mean he's just waiting without you telling him to?
  2. When you download a mod, you're presented with a window with a list of files you have used but haven't endorsed yet. This is a great feature, but a lot of the time they are mods that I downloaded some time ago and I simply can't remember them from the titles. It would be great if they were links to the mod page so people can visit it to jog their memory. Of course you can just search for it, so it's not essential, but it would make it much quicker. Thanks.

  4. What would be really cool is if you had to somehow prove to the Fiends that you're a badass raider. They kill just about anyone on sight, so it wouldn't make much sense to just waltz in to their territory and have a chat with them. Perhaps having a good reputation with groups like the Powder Gangers and the Great Khans and/or a bad reputation with towns and the NCR would automatically make you neutral with the Fiends and then doing the quests you suggested would eventually get it up to idolized. I'm not a modder, and I'm sure what I just suggested is insanely complicated, just thought I'd throw it out there.
  5. I like having Boone as a companion for his sniping skills, but his squinty eyed, emo 'I wish I was dead' personality gets a bit jarring when you're doing his quests for the 50th time. It would be great if you had the option to recruit Manny as well, perhaps with the requirement of completing 'Come Fly With Me' for him or using the Confirmed Bachelor perk. I don't know what his stats are like, but seeing as he is a sniper, perception, agility, guns and sneak should be priorities. It would probably make sense for him to have some skill in unarmed or melee and slightly above average endurance and/or strength, what with his Great Khan background.
  6. Just an idea, sorry to complicate it further, but perhaps it could be a 'Run Gomorrah' mod, where you have the option to delegate to the Khans, as not everyone's character is friendly with them. It also wouldn't make much sense for people who are going to choose the options that see them leave the Mojave. I usually ally with the Khans so I'd be happy either way, just think it would have a broader appeal if they weren't essential to the mod. I was trying to think of other factions that could work, but for a place like Gomorrah, the Khans are the only ones that make sense to me. It would be cool if it added more drug running missions too, but with larger amounts and bigger rewards. It would make sense for them to expand their business what with being a more influential group, and obviously the courier would get a big slice because he helped them out.

  8. I haven't installed it in a long time, but isn't Project Nevada modular? just download the mod and when it comes to activation only tick the box for the cyberware module. I'm not sure if that part is reliant on the script extender though.
  9. Pretty sure NVSE itself has no effect on performance, are you sure it isn't just a mod that uses it?
  10. You're going to have problems installing mods without NVSE, it is essential. Just follow the instructions on the website, it's very straightforward. I'm a total spaz with computers and I manage it no problem. You might want to make falloutnv.exe & nvse.exe run as admin if it's crashing at first.   11. Pushy is one of my favourite weapons to use, but I dislike the bulkiness of the wrist mounted part. I'd be very grateful if somebody would make a version with it removed.

  13. Could a modified version of Euclid's C-Finder be used? Perhaps the Poseidon Energy logo could be replaced with something more military looking.

  15. Well there are loads of graphics mods to make it prettier, but the biggest thing would be animation. I'm fairly sure the game engine just isn't capable of such fluid animation. I hope I'm wrong, but I've never seen anything like that in NV. I agree that the transition is jarring, I wish Obsidian did it in game. There's a mod that restores the cut in-game intro sequence of you being shot by Benny, but IMO it's not very good (no disrespect to the modder, they just restored content that wasn't finished). http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/46585/?   16. Yeah, I'm pretty good with the world map, I just get confused in maze-like interiors like Hoover Dam & the vaults. Thanks anyway.
  17. That does look pretty cool, I will try it at some point. It doesn't help with navigation though, which is my problem. I'm guessing it's not easily do-able, as it's such an obvious idea and nobody has made it. Still, thought I'd throw it out there just in case.
  18. Would it be possible to create a HUD minimap with a blip that represents and moves with the player? If you're like me and forget where you're going a lot, constantly bringing up the pip-boy to look at the local map can get...tiresome. The best place for it would probably be top left of the screen. It would need a toggle function, or work with Gopher's iHUD / oHUD as it could get in the way at times. I'm not bothered about lots of detail, just a small version of the basic pip-boy map would do fine.
  19. The Satchels & Tailor Maid mods have all kinds of misc stuff from vanilla apparel like ammo belts that you can equip separately, so if you do find an armor that's close to what you're looking for, you might be able to complete the look.
  20. Lol, that is hilarious. You could add notes/references to discover between Goodsprings and Primm. It would make it stand out from the usual player home mods.
  21. +1 I would love this mod. It's only a little simple thing, but it could make your character so much more than just a blank slate.
  22. That's cool, the only time you ever actually see the projectile is in VATS, and I have it disabled :)
