  1. There is a Hide On Local Map option when you double click on things in the Cell Window. It will prevent the area from showing on the map.
  2. Awesome. Thanks for the info. I'll see about getting the mod uploaded sometime this weekend.
  3. I'm working on a small immersion mod that adds the civil war map to every inn. My current playthrough is no map no compass but instead using road signs and Clairvoyance to navigate . The only time I can use the map is while standing in front of one of those maps. This is when I set a custom marker or active quest. If possible I'd like to be able to use an activator placed on the map to open the map if that is even possible.
  4. Working on a custom follower. I gave her the Fire Breath shout as one of her abilities. However, she will aggro my other followers if she hits them with Fire Breath. Is there a way to prevent friendly fire for this? Companion's Insight perk from Dragonborn does not work. Thanks, CH
  5. I'd like to see a " Donate to Nexus " button for premium members to help the site out.
  6. In response to post #41268885. #41269455, #41269515, #41270195, #41270680 are all replies on the same post. @Sacremas - I sometimes post comments on mods while on break at work. Not the most ideal thing to do from a phone.
  7. I had no idea this was a thing. Was there even a notification about it?

Steam got the same dislike when it started just like Origin is getting now. I use it for the games and that's it. I avoid the discussions because it's like a schoolyard of children arguing among one another. I'll only buy a game if it's on Steam. I did sign up for the Steam Card drawing.
  9. The stories I could tell when I worked in computer repair when a system came in with a bad RAID controller. Some of the Frankenstein's Monster setups I came up with to pull data off a server with a bad backplane was comical. Best of luck on the rebuild. I know it can be time consuming.
  10. Image upload is awesome now. No more typing in or pasting the name of the image saves time.
  11. I just started another new character. I don't think I'll ever stop playing Skyrim.
  12. The Paid mods experiment might be gone but unfortunately the damage has already been done with the backlash towards a few modders. Hopefully when things settle down they can return here.
  13. There are Vanilla Skyrim female guards in the Rift guarding Ivarstead and Riften. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Guards
  14. My recently released mod Advanced Cooking which makes cooking a perk based skill. It uses the Alchemy Perk Tree and will level Alchemy when using a cooking pot. Each perk unlocks new recipes to cook newer, more complex food items. A no perks version, which uses books in the place of a perk is also available for compatibility with perk overhaul mods. Many new foods have been added as well. I made this for my current playthrough and decided to upload it considering it's a concept I've not seen anywhere before.
  15. Looking forward to this. Will this also include guards that travel the entirety of the hold and not just the city or town?
  16. SkyComplete has a feature that will track unique items, weapons, and armor. It also tracks just about every quest in the game included DLCs and a few quest mods. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60445/? It requires SKSE and SkyUI to work.
  17. The only mod I know of that does this is UNP - What to Wear http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22168/? It does require the UNP or UNPetite body replacer which of course makes it female only.
  18. I've been saying this since Skyrim was released. Most certainly it would require scripting to change the factions to be friendly with the player while a dragon is attacking. Once the dragon is dead the script would revert the factions to default. Unfortunately I am not good at scripting. I'm unsure of any mods that do this or how to implement it.
  19. @macrads - It's going to be called Advanced Cooking. I plan on having a no DLC version for the 5 people that still only have Vanilla Skyrim and a version for each DLC combination. Perks suck trying to get them to work together from differn esps. The Dawnguard versions adds a new power for Vampire Hunters. Easier to make the power a requirement to unlock the perk than a script. Vampires require the Vanilla power Life Drain to unlock their own perk. It's coming along nicely. Recipes are changed to require certain perks and items now. New recipes are included also. On a secondary note I know people will be requesting SkyRe, PerMa, Reqrium, and SPERG patches. They will come in time after the main mod is done and released.
  20. I'm actually working on a cooking mod right now that adds a perk tree for cooking which is an offshoot of the Alchemy Perk Tree. As you gain perks, you unlock more recipes. Starting with a simple Beef Stock and seasoning, you will work your way up to cooking meals that fortify your skills.
  21. In response to post #9045795. #9046458, #9048757, #9048873, #9051183, #9054350, #9054456, #9056538, #9056714 are all replies on the same post. I also would gladly hit the donate button when possible even though I have a lifetime premium.
  22. I'm working on a small mod but am currently stumped on how to do one thing. Is there a way to have the weapon removed from the player's inventory when the enemy is hit? Not just disarmed, but completely removed. It's one of features of the mod so any help is appreciated.
  23. I wondered why my downloads were failing this morning. The fake FBI infection has been going around for a few months now. It seems like 75% of all the computer repairs I do a week are cleaning this stupid infection. It's two sides of the same coin. Yes it sucks to clean out but it also pays the bills. Also, most, if not all AV programs don't stop it. Once it does detect the infection it generally is too late and the system is compromised.
  24. Working on a mod that needs some way of changing the current game hour. When the player uses a load door I want to be able to add 3 hours to the time in game. So if it where 12p it would be 3p after using the door. If only scripting could use console commands because SetPCSleepHours would be perfect. Thanks.
