  1. 7 x64. Hasn't been set up as admin, I'm not running as admin account, and neither the exe nor shortcut push for it which is why I brought up the issue. You're right about it only being once, though.
  2. "Vortex is not intended to be run as administrator!" messages have started to pop up, with some extremely accurate advice about not running Vortex as administrator. Unfortunately, it's not being run as administrator. http://prntscr.com/k0lrk1
  3. My only experience with this has been a long line of "Cyclic rules" with nonsensical feedback. A > B > C > D, but then error as apparently that translates to A > C > A. Either, it's doing something other than implicitly instructed, or the UI is not giving all the info (with undeleted chain links, for example). I'd vote to wind back what feels like a really unwanted and unwarranted design choice. Until then, having to manually sort with Bash, which is less than optimal.
  4. Could masters of, and if possible slaves to a mod please be listed on the plugin tab double-click menu? I've been working on converting a lot of mods to .esl format, and have now run into "master: UNKNOWN" several times in the CC. Since I usually only run Vortex in the background, that'd be a really useful tool.
  5. Also getting this issue, as question for OP, is it happening for mods that you install via the file dropper as well, or just via NMM? For myself, it causes files to go missing if I close & restart Vortex before installing them (reported via client), and doesn't happen on the same file every time (so downloading over and over resolved the issue).
  6. Anyone familiar with the workings of the amazing Wrye project know if it'd be safe to .esl convert a patch?
  7. So, after some thought; "Top" and "Trending" mods widgets would be useful and definitely help to reflect the site. A "Categories" widget wouldn't need to list mods within it, but being able to quickly link to a particular section of the mod directory would be really useful.
  8. Simple enough request - ability to use the "edit" command on the main game entry on the dashboard to allow an override such as the titular xxSE script loader. It's not essential, but would be an extra layer of convenience to be able to load my game from within my mods/plugins/whatever tab without having to switch up to the dashboard every time while testing mods for crashes. Enjoying the project with my modding still, keep up the great work!
  9. I can see how disabling installation for mods that are not present would be useful, but in scenarios such as this (VIS is waiting to be installed later down the queue), it can interrupt an install. Perhaps instead of outright disabling, a pop-up as would happen in NMM? "You don't have <mod> currently installed"
  10. You were absolutely right. Thanks, that resolved it utterly.
  11. Sorry, I was meaning to post this in the discussion subforum, not feedback. May I be lazy and ask a mod to please assist me with relocating it?
  12. I'm about to go look & poke around, but in case it's not apparent is there a known fix for this bug? I have two stuck downloads and I'd like to either pull them to start over, or continue them. Unfortunately, I can't get any downloads to display at all.
  13. Wait. So, you're saying that Nexus... forced the Vortex alpha onto your computer, installed it without your permission, loaded Fallout 4 into Vortex, activated autosorting on the plugins page, and disabled all other mod managers on your computer, all without your knowledge? My goodness. Call the papers. Sarcasm aside, turn off autosorting on the plugins tab. Then re-sort with LOOT or your load order manager of choice. Vortex also won't prevent you from still using MO or NMM. You can still go about your normal install & uninstall process. Or, you can learn to use the alpha that you signed up for. As a tip, if you need help, be polite and civil, instead of aggressive and crazy.
