Yup, I do much the same. Being on Linux, I actually move all of my saves into year-numbered subfolders, then symlink the more recent ones for each character back into the main save folder. And occasionally clean out some of the older symlinks so the game's load and save dialogs don't take too long to load.

Indeed, IlComico always seemed at least a little off the deep end to me. Even when he(?) made reasonable points, he'd assume the worst motives too quickly. Plus he often wrote like a cryptic prophet, making it hard to follow him far enough to meet him halfway. I figure if you've got a point to make, then make it -- don't bury it in riddles like it's the Book of Revelation.

Yah, I've been using the Unofficial Patches almost since the beginning. Between mod dependencies and definite bugfixes, I find them far too useful to not have. But I also understand some disagreements with them too. Some changes are very much judgement calls of "Is this a bug or oversight, or was it meant to be this way?" that reasonable people can disagree over.* I wouldn't be surprised if on some bug fixes, reasonable people can disagree over whether the implementation was right. And though I'm running a current version of SE with no plans to downgrade, I do wish they'd kept a "last old version, unsupported" of the SE patch visible for downgraders -- though I can also understand why they don't. * Like NPCs whose stats don't match their gear and abilities. Many of them are genuine oversights where the devs never got around to setting them properly. But some are likely deliberate, given the NPC's characterization and backstory. And some could be reasonably argued either way.

Yup, it's against the Nexus rules to post such mods here, unless the game company specifically allows their assets to be ported like that. (e.g., CD Projekt Red allows it for the Witcher games.)

It's not one I'm familiar with. Why not mod it yourself, and upload a mod or two here? The upload form has an option to specify a game that's not on the Nexus yet. (Also, your post would be a lot easier to read with some punctuation in it.)

Yup, I'd start with the Unofficial Skyrim SE Patch (since that's pretty much just bug fixes), and maybe SkyUI, and play through otherwise unmodded for a while, to get familiar with the game. Gradually add mods that interest you, or that improve some game shortcomings you've actually experienced.

Even worse, the answer is easily found by googling Skyrim _ResourcePack.esl file. (It was added by a newer version of the game than his cracked one.) And if RipplingLake ever comes back and insists on running an older version legitimately (off GOG or Steam), then the downgraders can point to further help with that problem.

It was a well-known "lost album" that got stuck in development hell for quite a few years -- to the point where people were joking that China might actually become a democracy before the album would be finished. I've never listened to it myself, but I'd imagine that -- much like the game Duke Nukem Forever -- it never quite lived up to the years of accumulated hype and expectations.

Referrer spam, would be one of my guesses -- trying to increase search engine rankings by having more links to their page. Yah, old enough that I'd figure Google et al know about it and can de-prioritze such links in search engine rankings. Though yah, they might also be trying to get the occasional curious person wondering why a period is linked, whose finger is itchy enough to click blindly without mousing over it to see where it goes.

*smh*... Not just non-constructively criticizing a mod, but one that removes or reduces sexual harassment and implied SA from the story. Even if you don't want the mod in your game, it seems kinda messed-up to make fun of other people wanting it.

While I have both installed. I still have LE characters I'm not done playing with yet, and I still haven't quite finalized my SE mod setup enough to play much through the game in SE yet.
