  1. A: No, but Betty Botter's bought a batch of bitter batter butter -- and sometimes she sells seashells by the seashore. Q: We've already asked where the beef is. Now where's the pork?
  2. Someone got hit by two different banhammers -- @BellCube's and @Demorphic's: Hijacked account, too; hopefully the real owner can get it back someday if they were still active.
  3. You're welcome -- and I'm glad @LenaWolfBravil and I could help with this!
  4. Yah, spammers compromise many people's accounts via phishing scams, and by guessing weak or reused passwords. And some will pay people to create accounts for them (in widely dispersed places or through proxies), since capchas etc only check that there's a human in the loop somewhere -- and it looks more like regular people creating accounts that way if it's not the same or similar IP addresses behind them. Oh my... Yah, reposting as a separate mod might make sense for, say, a complete rebuild that becomes a different mod. But usually you keep the old mod up, possibly marked obsolete, so people can re-download it for old saves. This is just ... excessive. And dumb from a user standpoint, since it loses comments and makes it harder to track updates. Thank you Nexus for smacking it down.
  5. Not a Vortex user myself, but the closest similar case I can think of involved an unexpectedly identical file on Nexus. In that case, someone downloaded SOS, and Vortex seemingly mistook it for an unrelated mod. Turned out someone else had uploaded SOS to Nexus without permission (mod theft) and renamed the file to try to avoid notice. Vortex recognized the file (since, other than the name, it was identical) and 'misidentified' it accordingly. Maybe that hidden mod has an identical file to one you downloaded, and Vortex thought it was being helpful with an apparent update. Though we won't know unless a moderator chimes in or the mod gets unhidden. If you read that mod page, it says:
  6. What is it doing if you try? Is it hanging, is it crashing, etc -- and where?
  7. I ban @zixi because shouldn't the banned Banned Band be planning a tour? I thought they were going to be in South Banned, Indiana and Bankato, Minnesota soon.
  8. Or at least how to do it for a price most people would pay. It was cheaper for the phone company to do several parties on a line, since the cables to the exchange didn't need as many wires. Anyeay, I'm still enjoying fall color here , and I had a nice drive down one of the Minneapolis parkways when I grabbed lunch yesterday. Urban heat island at night means the leaves take a little longer to change in the Twin Cities than in most of outstate Minnesota. Though parts of the Minnesota River Valley are lagging even further, so I might take a drive down there later. I'm also looking forward to a Halloween party with online friends in Second Life today. Always some fun costumes at it in past years!
  9. This one mildly amused me with how they kept spelling don't as "d'ont":
  10. @TheVampireDante Yah, I had to blink at that myself. I was hoping they'd just forgot to put a /sarcasm tag on that. *smh at @praesi*
  11. Someone was a little smarter than the "hypothetical" and "Pirates of the Caribbean" people, but still got figured out:
  12. If it's by the Kingdom of Loathing folks, then I can imagine it is.
  13. Though this is less of a problem than it used to be. Many SKSE .dll mods use Address Library to stay version-agnostic, so they'll keep working as long as you keep Address Library up-to-date.
  14. eat
  15. Should I answer that with "it's a toss-up"?
  16. @LorenceB13 I don't see any obvious neck seam, or any other problem, there. What problem are you having, exactly?
  17. I ban @Drakefell01 for pointing out our forum reputation scores. (546 here, if I look at my profile.)
  18. A: Yes I did! I wonder how many more we can think of before I say "Sha-Boom -- Life Could Be a Dream" and I end up a Daydream Believer. Q: Where does this door go to?
  19. Out: A download link to the mod, a few ban threads for people who were donkeyholes about criticizing its lore friendliness, and a month of Nexus Premium. In: A small silver coin from 1st Era Morrowind, minted in the first few years of the Tribunal's reign.
  20. A: Yes, if we don't Dream of Jeannie, or Dream a Little Dream about a Dream Lover, or become Dream Warriors. Though maybe I should just Dream On. Q: Are there any other good "dream" titles I could've worked in there?
  21. earthquake
  22. Why would I want to drink that much?
  23. Is your game installed somewhere where Windows restricts permissions a bit more? E.g., Program Files? (Not a FMM user. But when I was still on Windows, I had issues with editing some things when my Steam games were in Program Files, until I gave myself "full control" of a few game folders in there.)
  24. I ban @zixi for starting antitrust action against us.
  25. *smh*... Oh well, more bandwidth for me to maybe download some.
