  1. This mod is listed under Horizon: Zero Dawn, yet the author clearly marked it for the Horizon: Forbidden West Game. Frame generation to Fluid Motion Frames Is there a methodology for getting this moved to the correct listing? Either the Author does not understand English, (Spanish speaking), or ignored the request to move it.
  2. When I click the publish my image radio button, I get the forever spinning gear of failure. The image does not get published.
  3. I tried uploading a .png file I created to the site for Palworld since the .exe file does not populate the icon in VORTEX. It would not upload. Thoughts, suggestions and helpful comments?
  4. Over the past 2-3 days, CloudFlare Captia has fail-checked me for at least 4-5 times before giving the CheckMark of Good to proceed. What I would like to know: What changed? Did the site change something with CloudFlare? Should I look at something on my end? 29/11/23 - update: CloudFlare gave me the green checkmark of goodness to proceed on the first attempt. Maybe the long haul across the pond - either way - is the issue.
  5. What I found: When I looked at the zEdit program's about, it had a comment that zEdit was built off of xEdit's codebase. Good guess on the cause, Mike. When I deleted all the files in the cache folder, like you stated, "nothing to do with Vortex", Vortex operated the same as always. When I redeployed the mods, zEdit immediately repopulated the cache folder with all the .json files I had previously mentioned in my OP. Now I need to find out why I installed zEdit and if I can remove it without losing functionality. Thank you for your time, MIke.
  6. These are the "external?" programs I have installed. xEdit is not one of them; maybe zEdit? I still need a response about the non 'Skyrim SE' mods in the folder. Would it hurt anything to remove them? or Would the folder repopulate if I deleted all the cached' mods? Thank you for your time.
  7. Problem: Skyrim SE common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\cache is cross populated with mods from other games. These "MODS" are from other games managed by VORTEX. Actual folder location: G:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\cache: Mods from games other than Skyrim: (The games I recognize) Fallout 3 Fallout 4 Fallout New Vegas Questions: If I delete the files In the cache folder, will it repopulate? Does Vortex have a command that fixes this issue? Is this even an issue? Why I am posting about this: I have had game crashes and I am attempting to eliminate all possible causes. I have rechecked mods for compatibility. I have deleted all game saves from the proper save folder and started new games more than 3 times. All mods installed have been installed using the Vortex program. Please help. Actual list of files:
  8. So I looked st the number of files I would have to edit. I thought - screw this - and re-downloaded the VORTEX MOD MANAGER and that fixed the issue. I did this yesterday? Meh... something like that. I guess I caught the new fixed update off the site.
  9. So I looked st the number of files I would have to edit. I thought - screw this - and re-downloaded the VORTEX MOD MANAGER and that fixed the issue.
  10. Thank you for the update, Mayor. I will fix it myself and then wait for the official fix and then undo what I will do.
  11. This is take from my Vortex Game Loader. This happens every time I start VORTEX Game Loader and when I change games. 12. Thank you for answering, Tannin42. I figured out that Vortex could not find the mod folder because for WINDOWS REASONS, it got deleted. So I just copied and pasted from the Vortex storage location. Thanks you Vortex authors for having a mod backup folder, making it easier for me to find them. Yes, it takes up valuable disk space, but worth having than not.
  13. Would someone please be kind enough to explain what happened with this Migration Failure? I don't even play this game anymore and I would like to clear the error. It happens ever time I open/start Vortex no matter what game I have selected to play. Thank you for your time. 14. I think I got this figured out. So I "cloned" a profile, switched to the profile I just made, changed the name to a more suitable one. Added back the mod I removed for playing the original profile. Opened the games save file that uses all the mods and it worked great. This was using Stardew Valley which was easy enough to sort through. Thank you for your help. Both you and Showler.
  15. Thank you for your time. I have always had trouble with reading/comprehension - alluding to dyslexia. https://imageshack.com/i/pnEOsGXlp What I can do with great difficulty. https://imageshack.com/i/5z0512000907j What I loved doing before I had to retire. Yes, pull those cam shafts to change the buckets.
  16. I hope to explain what I mean. A tool in Vortex that will sort mods used based on mod dependency or mod requirements. So I have a mod that has many requirements in order to use this one mod. Rather than having to disable each dependency and mod to switch play through saves, have a tool that groups these mods together so that a player can change mods for different play through saves. Kinda like the way you switch games from the profile menu, only you switch saves per game in the same way. Saved game A: uses these mods. . .. click A Saved game B: uses these mods. . ..Click B and so on. I am not even sure this is possible the way Vortex is currently built, Thank you for your time.
  17. Thank you for your responses. Hopefully the change in file save path will sort itself out. I searched a few dozen forums on the topic, but so far nothing appears to work for me. If the STEAM interface is an issue, that would be nice to know as well.
  18. Like I posted in the title, I have over 2 gig in saved file data. I tried changing the "save" location by modifying the 'skyrimse.ini file from: NOTE: Meant to say Skyrim.ini SLocalSavePath=Saves\ to SLocalSavePath=G:\users\me\Skyrim Special Edition\Saves The game fails to recognize this change. What I would like is a mod recommended to help eliminate the excess files and move the location. I am not sure I would want to use Wrye Bash in that it appears to be very OP. Thank you for your time.
  19. Please forgive me as 1000 pm at night is probably not the best time for me to post for help. Eyes being bloodshot and bleary. Obviously, I did not clearly make my request known. Yes, I know the MODS list and the PLUGINS list are totally different. Although IMHO the PLUGINS list should have every entry so it matches the MODS list. Question # 1. Where do I obtain this list of my "LOAD ORDER" from Vortex for posting in the forums? Question # 2. Is this 'load order' the list of installed Mods? OR Is this 'load order' the list of Plugins? Question # 3. If the list is from the Plugins, then why do you not consider the installed .nif 'loose files'? I do not use .ESL files at this time. There are none in the PLUGINS list/section.
  20. As I was in the beginnings of a post in the Fallout 4 section, I realized I could not find any kind, or type of device, or mechanism to get a Mod list or Load Order List from Vortex. Are the Mod list and Load Order list the same? Are you Sure??? I ask because I have 2 mods installed that have no .esm/.esp file. Also, most all the mods for my fallout 4 game are dumped in the 'default' group on the load page. What's up with that???? Could this be part of my issue? Can't post about it cause I can't get a load order. Did I miss the memo on how to make a list? And please do not ask me to install another mod manager to get a list. Why? If Vortex is lacking, why am I using it?
  21. The OP would want to run from the console command line, 'recycleactor' followed by 'resurrect'. Recycleactor does not work on all NPC's. This is all covered on the NPC Manipulation section of the Fallout 4 Console Commands page. Fallout 4 console commands Also, you cannot restart quests from using console commands. Only from previous saves.
  22. Great Ideas, Peoples. Todd Howard is a Public figure open to criticism and ridicule. If I could, I would make a Fobb Coward Comapnion. Why? Because It really needs to be done.
  23. I do not plan on reading any posts. What I will say is this: After being around computers since 1986, I have come to the opinion that John Mcafee was right. Computer Security is an oxymoron. Why? Simple. The architecture that these systems were designed around is OPEN ARCHITECTURE. The IBM PC, the Internet, and so on. Short of unplugging your computer from the internet and the wall outlet and locking it in a vault, you can be hacked. PS: I still have my 80286 w/802878 math co-processor. It still runs and is still date correct. Those were really fun days. OH! WOW! A 20MG hard drive!!!! LMAO!!!
  24. Has anyone though about making a Todd Coward, (Todd Howard), companion that would run and hide at the first sign of trouble and come skulking back after the fighting is done only to complain about how you didn't buy enough Atoms or Dark Nuka Rum???
