  1. Thanks so much, this has decreased my crashes to nonexistence (knock on wood).
  2. Thanks for the info, wondered what was going on with this site. The slowness and instability really had me considering leaving right until the moment I saw this post. It's been infuriating trying to navigate for the past few days.
  3. This is a great idea. What self respecting enchanted weapon only works for 10 swings?
  4. Got this bug after fighting some glitched Draugrs who appeared outside of Ivarstead and wouldn't die. Thought I caught the Draugr bug from them or something. You guys are lifesavers. Thanks
  5. Actually, the Martial Arts mod has great fighting and jumping animations for anime characters, and these new magic animations already have a Kamehameha-like charging effect for some destruction spells. Not to mention all of the actual Dragonball animations already out. Also /facepalm at the people whining about Dragonball's anime filler and confusing it for the actual story.
  6. Ah yes, I forgot about the beast races. Well perhaps those feather things on top of the Argonians' heads could grow? Khajiit could maybe have growing hair? I'm not sure how long vanilla Khajiit's hair can get because I have the Dagi-Raht replacer on my game.
  7. Good call. I thought I remembered some vanilla scissors in the back of my mind, but I wasn't sure where I'd seen them. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120908211859/elderscrolls/images/2/29/Embalming_tool_00034cd4.png These would work nicely. Perhaps Mehrunes' Razor would be a good tool for shaving?
  8. Phinix Natural ENB is my ENB of choice. It has all the the ENB features I want and none of the ones that I don't. I hate losing detail for cinematic effect, but I love ENB's graphical enhancements, and this one seems to strike a perfect balance for my tastes. It's also still being constantly updated, and looks amazing with both CoT and RLO (a must for me). It's not the perfect ENB for taking dramatic screenshots, but in my opinion it looks the absolute best during gameplay.
  9. I'd love to have a mod where your hair and facial hair grows over a realistic period of time before you need to cut/shave it. For example: After 2 in-game days clean shaven turns into light stubble, and 2 more days after that it evolves into thick stubble, which later turns into a light beard, and after a month turns into a full beard. The same thing could be done with hair, where a logical chain of hairstyles could be selected ranging from short to long, and the player's hairstyle would progress every month unless they decided to cut it/had it cut. The player would have to be seated in order to shave or cut his own hair, which would add a lot to immersion, having to go to an inn/your home and shave every other day. You could make a razor and/or scissors which the player could use to trim his hair down to the next regressive level, or add a skill which allowed the player to do it as long as he had said razor/scissors or even a dagger. I think it would add a lot of fun and immersion to the game. :)
  10. Thanks for this info. Getting rid of More Dynamic Shadows fixed my ctd problem.
  11. Lol, I'm pretty sure they made that feature for balance's sake so you couldn't pickpocket your way to training all skills to 100.
  12. Wow, I thought this was bugged just for me. I joined the Dark Brotherhood, looking forward to getting that new mask, and both the cowl and the maskless cowl look identical; no mask. Hopefully someone can fix this.
  13. I was just about to make a topic about this. Enchanting items almost isn't worth the effort for me when I have to waste a soul gem reenchanting them after every other fight (or during dragon fights). One of the few things I miss about Morrowind is the fact that enchanted weapons actually felt like powerful magic artifacts and not cheap gimmicks that needed their batteries recharged. I also think this would be a fairly simple mod, but have no experience or knowledge to know where to begin. It seems like there should just be a value or an option to drain a certain amount of charge from a weapon every time it's used that can be turned off, but idk.
  14. Please tell me I'm being trolled. You either need to look up the definition of balance or finish playing the game. Horses are too costly?!? Seriously?! 1000 gold is nothing in this game. Before I even fenced my first item, I was buying 5 to 8000 houses and fully furnishing them and still having over 10K left over based on dungeon loot alone. You are doing something seriously wrong. Theft is "too strong and annoying at the same time?" WTF? If you actually did the Thieves Guild quests, you would know that you can find several fences in towns all over Skyrim. And theft is supposed to be strong yet annoying. That is the point. It is extremely unrealistic that npcs should just magically know when you've stolen something. And are you actually suggesting that there should be gamebreaking consequences for being caught stealing? The entire town trying to kill you isn't enough? Magic is quite terrible once you hit about level 30, I will agree with that. But I find some serious problems with all your other premises.
