  2. I know I'm not one to often request things, but due to my utter stupidity regarding blender(And modding DA:O in general. The darned toolset keeps freezing up on me mid-project!), I thought I would throw this request out there. There are a few hairstyles that have been converted from the Sims 2 to support Oblivion/Fallout (3, NV). Since a few Sim conversions are already out there for Dragon Age, and there are Oblivion hairs out there that have been ported into DA as well, I don't think this would be an impossible request to take on. (The original author of the hairstyle I am requesting has given permission to convert them as well) The mesh of this hairstyle has been both ported to Fallout and Oblivion alike, but there is yet to be a DA variant of it. Since this is a lovely hair mesh, I'm requesting that it be converted to DA format and possibly conformulated to fit HF/HM/EF/EM (HM in particular would be greatly appreciated, as I usually play males :P) I'll post several links for reference, as I'm unaware what would be easier to work with.   3. So there I was, taking out a horde of Super Mutants in front of the Capital Building. After shooting what seemed to be one of the last ones in the area, it suddenly shot up about 40 feet into the air and got stuck at said point. It then started twirling around by its left arm in circles, and making a noise as though it was colliding with something. GET TO THE VERTIBERDS PEOPLE, 'CAUSE THE MUTANTCHOPPERS ARE ATTACKING!
  4. I don't know if I'm allowed to ask this here, but... I'm looking for a mod that re-balances the total magicka a character is allowed to have. (e.g. Multipliers, extra magicka per level, etc.) I know there are a few out there, I'm just looking for something streamlined that most people use. I probably overlooked a few major ones already, so if anyone could point me in the general direction or recommend something, it would be appreciated.

  6. Hmm, if they're eyeless/hairless it sounds like you're missing both mesh/texture resources. If you already have them, perhaps the folder pathing is wrong or another hair/eye mod is conflicting.
  7. It's a texture problem. Are you using any texture overhauls at the moment, such as QTP3? There are a few compatibility patches included in the AWLS for that amoungst other mods.
  8. Are you using OBSE(Oblivion Script Extender)? It's required for Streamline and certain other mods to run. Also, it needs to be at the bottom-most of your load order. There is a customizable ini option that comes with Streamlined that helps lower your settings only when you're in combat, then reverts them to the ones you intially had. So whenever you are in combat, the game will run much faster. I suggest attempting to try and get Streamline to work again if you can, it may help alot with that particular problem. Out of curiosity, what OS are you using? Sometimes Oblivion won't use all the RAM it's capable of using on certain systems, but there is a way to re-enable it.
  9. It could depend on your PC setup, or it could depend on your mods/load order. Oblivion uses quite a bit of memory while running in the background, so make sure to close other applications while playing. As far as the Xbox not crashing as much, well, we're talking about two different systems here. Xbox 360's are all setup in the same way, while people's PCs are more varied and have different setups, operating systems, etc. Hence more incompatibilities. As for the game itself, make sure to use wrye bash. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22368 The nifty bashed patch tool helps with making alot of mods compatible with each other, reducing potential crashes. The unofficial patches help with some of the vanilla bugs/general crashes. I also HIGHLY suggest Streamline. If you're looking for a scar/tattoo, may I suggest Django's Unique Features? http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8261 It makes new facial "features" available by modifying the age sliders into custom tattoos,scars,blemishes, etc. If you're looking to splice up your custom race, I'm sure applying age sliders to it wouldn't be too hard.

  12. I'm looking for a mod that adds a compass to the top right of the screen. It's box shaped and sort of acts like a mini map rather than an actual compass.

I linked to it a few posts above :P Anyone knows what mod adds those forehead goggles i'm looking for plz? ^_^" Other than Tailor Maid, there isn't much out there for Biker Goggles that I know of. The only other goggles I know of are from Kikai's Equipment, but they are more mechanical/scope-ish in appearance. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/images/4616-1-1236359725.jpg You might be able to fiddle around with the default biker goggle nif in nifscope to change the position of the goggles. It's not too hard if you import a head mesh to use as a base.

  15. (Going to feel weird for asking this) I saw a texture mod a few days ago that had fully shaved skin for Robert's male and female bodies. Would anyone happen to know the name of the mod(Or if they took it down)?
  16. The enclave were a pretty small organization to begin with. I doubt we'll see them for awhile seeing as they've been continuiously wiped out throughout each fallout game. Heck, they're most likely still out there, but I doubt they have the proper organization at the moment to plan a grandiose assault in NV. But we'll see, I suppose.
  17. When I was playing through the metro tunnels around 2:30 in the morning, a freaking molerat snuck up behind me and I nearly jumped out of my seat. I can tolerate ghouls, deathclaws, and even mirelurks in the dark, but those molerats scare the living s*** out of me.

  20. This might be overlooked since it's not exactly pervy...but I had an idea for power armor. Veritech Fighters in Battloid mode, albeit being mechs, could make some juicy power armor in Fallout 3.   21. Whenever my character is wearing a shirt with sleeves or is unclothed, his face will be a pale-pink while his body will seem to illuminate a pasty, yellow color. I believed this to be the cause of a body replacer I was using, but upon removing it(including the armor replacers) the mismatch still persisted. I even tried changing his tone/face with no luck. Any suggestions on what to do from here in attempt to fix this would be appreciated. EDIT: Forget it....I accidently deleted ALL my savegames while trying to reinstall FO3. This can be closed.

  24. I have a desire to learn how to model, but as I am new to this field completely, it's hard to find a decent guide to help me get started. I have tried messing with Blender and looking over several tutorials for it, but none have seemed to have given me any progress. Are there any other modeling programs that are simpler to use? I've heard of 3dsMax and Maya, but I don't know how overwhelming they are in comparison to Blender, let alone if there are any tutorials for them for importing models into Oblivion. I apologize if this is in the wrong section or if this has been asked alot, but I'm just tired of cheering and routing others from the sidelines and doing nothing for everyone in return. I'd like to actually create a piece of 3D art I can call my own, yet everyone can enjoy. If anyone can assist me in finding a suitable program to use OR a more "straight to the point", yet easy to comprehend tutorial for Blender, it would be greatly appreciated.
