If you still haven't solved this bug, I found a fix and laid it out in instruction format in my mod here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10522/ pretty much like the OP wanted. "Step by step like a child" lol. Really not self promoting, just trying to get the word around and help people stop digging through forums to try and find a fix like I did. Give it a try, if it doesn't work, PM me or leave a comment and I'll try my best to help.

Sorry this still doesn't work for me, I have extracted script.rar file into data and into the scripts>source folder but still it tells me that the extends script does not exist. It's so annoying, I've come so far in my mod and I'm not willing to let it all go for this one stupid glitch! Can anyone help me?

Hey there, just wanted to say I think your doing a great job by keeping the servers online, however when I try to log in on the Mod Manager, it says "NMM is currently offline due to heavy server loads" I assume this is just because of the peak of people downloading???
