  1. All I can add is i did install a mod for lydia. and it made her stay upstairs in the already small breezehome. When i deleted the esp, she had black face.. i went to the dir "Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\skyrim.esm\000a2c8e.nif" and deleted the nif and her face was normal again..
  2. I think I got the same problem... But the difference is, Birna got killed in the Dragon attack! Kinda peaves me that noone is ever manning the only store in town :\ I so far have just not worried about it but if there's a little fix i'd be open to it...... I'm hesitant to try that command since she's dead..
  3. Just because the "mod is showing as checked in the plugins section does not mean they're active. You need to fing the mod in the "Mods" tab and of it has a red circle/line it's not active. Highlight it and click the green check mark to activate it. Little Tip, Unless you got like 200+ mods, don't use the NMM categories.. I got all my mods categorized under c0AX's Mods lol.. To me it's easier but i do only got like 35 or so mods.. If you're using categories, click the Expand All button to make it easier to find the mod you're looking to see if it's active or not... c0ax I just read your posts a lil closer, you did mention the green check marks.. hmm, hell if I know then...
  4. LOL! I get the same problem.... TBH, I just deal with it since it only happens after i first load a save.. I Hit ok and no error after that during that session. Admittedly, I haven't looked too hard for a fix. I believe it may have something to do with my use of Colored Map Markers or A Quality World map. But i'm not getting rid of either mod. Wish I coulda helped you, but at least we both know we're not the only ones with the problem now.. :tongue: c0ax

  6. I'd personally do it by Category.. I looked through almost 1000 resources tonight in the "Models And Textures" cat. If you filter by 90 endorsements you're gonna miss alot. Alot of mods have less than that. What if they're new? They won't have 90 endorsements.. And If i am interested in something i look at the pics and also read the comments. So, yea, it took a few hours. My brain was kinda starting to schitz a little. :wacko:
  7. Looks like the filename hints at DigitalBlasphemy.com but I couldn't find it on there. I did just find a "mirror" image of it on getwallpapers.com like you said... No telling man..
  8. Man, that's alotta work.. LOL.. You're prolly on your own there bud.. I hate to say. With that many mods installed. God I dunnno how you're ever figure that stuff out. Um, I don't know why you can't install the CK. That's what you NEED to do. Then load the mods with the NPC's, find the npc, highlight and hit CTRL-F4 to generate the facetint. I recently did this to the ONE npc i had the blackface bug on in the mod Imperial Fort Rorikstead. Here's how you can reinstall Skyrim, and i know this is time consuming. But, go to this link, read it. There's 3 folders you need to rename, Then you can re-install Skyrim and the CK. I'm not gonna type all this out so here's the link i used last night. I got 3 Skyrim installs right now. How To Manage Multiple Installs I know there's info about that on this site, but that's the tutorial i used. Good luck man. c0AX
  9. Load Order "can" be changed in the Mod > Load Order setting in the main menu of the game. But it's a Bear. lol. I forget exactly how to do it, i finally hit the right keys once to do it, but I can't remember which keys. Like the person mentioned above, I use NMM. load order is easily changed in the Plugins tab. c0AX -------------------------------------------------------- Sounds like you need to go to a windows forum with that question. I just googled that dll and it causes all kinds of stuff to crash when it's corrupted..
  10. Did you enable the .esp in the "MOD" section of the Skyrim SE menu? You got to click on Load Order and then click the check box next to the file you want to load. then hit back to get back to main menu, and run game. c0AX P.S. yea it'd prolly be better to use a mod manager. but it's easily done manually as well. I still use NMM personally. But I messed up and uninstalled it then reinstalled it, forget what happened. but..... So now I got some mods loaded thru IT and some that dont even show in the "MODS" tab in it. But the .esp's ALL show in the "Plugins" tab. so I can still change load order that way.
  11. Hey guys and gals. I dunno what you all think, about this. But I just spent a few hours downloading modders resources and some house mods and a few others (for Skyrim SE). I probably downloaded approx 50 different mods/resources. Some of the resources I got off of links that were on a modders resource page, and I noticed some were resources for Skryim LE. I thought no biggie i'll just check the readme when i unzip the files.. Well, I was shocked, only a few out of all those files had any kind of txt file or readme in them. Man I just downloaded 50 files.. I can't remember what's what.. Heh.. So I started looking at nif file dates in the archives. I finally just decided i'll run SSE Nif Optimizer on all that stuff... Then I decided to install a house mod near Skaal Village that looked cool, but i couldn't remember which one of the 5 or so house mods i downloaded was the one. I think it was Mhulchazn - Dwemer Home-22427-1-1-1547033494, but of course! NO Readme. As an example, here's some mods (i won't list all the resources) I downloaded tonight with No Readme. Brown Guard Armor - Special Edition-6102-1-0 Miserith Hall (WIP) 0.8.09-22656-0-8-09-1548606120 Realistic Hair Colors-10783-1-3 ShadowsRealm-4967-V-1 The Island-10443-1-0 The Spirits Within _The Normal Women_-16447-1-0 Tristan's Shack SSE 1.0-22585-1-0-1547391501 Updated Vanilla Hair Colors-5127-1-0 White Lighthouse-21955-2-0-1545081367 I'm honestly not picking on these mod authors, but these are the few non modders resource mods I downloaded tonight. No Readme or text file. To give credit on the few that did have readme files in the archive: Breezehome Basement V1-22539-1-0-1547214022 Mr. Siika Castle Seaview Kit-2974- Svellheim-22843-1-0-1548205327 Assorted resources for Skyrim SE-4491-1-0 Modder's Resource Pack - ALCHEMY-16525-3-1 (CORE & FOOD also) Morrowind Dwemer Resources-190-1-4-1 Stroti Mushroom House Resource-2762- (and all other Stroti mods converted by Tamira). I know it's obvious what to do with a ESP if you know anything about these games. But I still think all mods and or resources should have a readme file in them. I read some pretty detailed descriptions on those download pages. Seems it wouldn't be too hard to copy/paste that into a readme at least. Sorry I tend to get a little long winded.   12. Hello, I am trying to "convert" this Skyrim mod to Skyrim SE. Raven Nest player home Created by Elianora!!! From description "Epic little player home for the loner Dragonborn, located in the outskirts of Raven Rock. All crafting workstations (vanilla + DB), lots of customised and labelled storage. Beautiful clutter and furnishing. Follower friendly (1 extra bed). Cleaned and polished with TES5Edit." I installed this without converting it and a lot of graphics were missing, I STILL loved it.. lol But, in a attempt to get all the right graphics, I extracted the bsa. Then ran SSE Nif Optimizer, all seemed to go well. But when I ran the texture scan, it showed 2 .dds files that weren't divisable by 4. So, using paint.net, i resized 'em. No more errors on the scan.. Then... I repackaged the bsa using archive.exe.. put it in data.. fired up the game, i use SKSE jfi, oh man, the home looked beautiful, things i never saw.. And upon a first look i saw NO errors in game! Then I loaded the esp in the CK.. Saved with no changes (SSEEdit showed Form 44 in the header)... After that, i ended up with a nif error and a few lighting issues that weren't there in the regular esp.. (the error stayed too after i tried to re-use the original esp, so i don't think it's a .esp prob) Some screens of my error... Regular view Nif View I tried to fix the nif in Nifskope, not knowing what i was doing of course :tongue: I stumbled on a button, "Do Skinning" I hit it, and damn the book went in to place.. lol BUT, when i save as a nif even with a diff file name, it never works, i load the new file up in nifskope, it's just like the original.... Hopefully i've given enough info here.. I'd sure appreciate if anyone can give me some info to fix this really fine mod!!!! If i could get it "perfect!" c0ax599
  13. I wish I could help. but just to get a reply going.. I would think there would be some headpiece mods needed to go with this mod.... Or is there a way to make human armor work like you said? I say this not knowing what differences exist between human/cat armor.. Good luck man.. c0AX599
  14. Hi man, I've minorly modded The Elder Scrolls III IV and V, mainly editing other peoples mods to my liking for personal use... So, I got not much advice, since I tend to forget everything i learned over time, and in between playing these games hehe.. But since i've recently been trying to edit some stuff again with SSE, i gathered a few links.. I've started out by trying to convert Raven Nest Player Home from Skyrim to SSE at least for my personal use... Love this mod!!! Hey, stuff happens. :wink: Decide what you need and download all these tools linked from these pages..and install them before you do anything...   15. Just a idea, not expert info ;) I would go into your house. Save. Exit. Then if you are using a mod manager disable it from there. Load your game, You'll get a warning about the mod not being there, click ok. Save again, then go check it out. This should be safe to try, since you will still have a final save with the mod that you can revert to if it doesn't work out. c0AX
  16. Hey man! :smile: I also get a Skyui error. But only on the first time I fire up the map on each play session. I can live with that. SkyUI Error Code 5, a incompatible Menu File, map.swf. I got IcePenguinWorldMap, and coloredmapmarkers installed. Sure I'd like to fix it, but since it's a minor annoyance for me, i let it go.. I like my map and colored icons. I noticed you got a couple marker mods in your list.. I'd start there. Edit: I never get any menu errors for inventory etc., only map. I'm using SKSE64 2.0.10, and the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch-266-4-1-4, not 5a, cause that seemed to break my SKSE... Dunno if that's any help. Good luck man. c0AX
  17. Since I started playing Skyrim in 2011 upon it's release, I've always used NMM back then. So when I got back into Skyrim SE in the last couple months, and I saw there was a new mod manager, with NMM STILL being unfinished, ran up some red flags about the NEW mod manager, Vortex... Why can't someone finish what was started before they start something else was my thoughts. So I stick with NMM, cause what i read about Vortex so far isn't stellar. At least I know NMM. I don't have no 150 mods installed either lol... I got 10-15 mods for minimal gameplay change (still adding more on occasion, and need to fix some of the normal bugs like blackface). So, yes, i'm a light modder. So far I've had no real problems with NMM, other than the categories.. I hate the categories.. They just get in the way and make things real kludgy for someone with a few mods.. I *think* that can be changed, afaik, maybe i'll do that someday heh.. NMM! c0AX
  18. Hey peoples.. :smile: I was having a issue, that was kind of annoying, nothing else... I have about 10 mods installed, nothing major.. And one is Immersive Armors. Love the Ringmail Armor!!! And a lot of the others too. So my issue, was the Ringmail armors i made and enchanted seemed to disappear from my inventory on occasion. Same with the Crimson Archer Armor. I noticed today, when using the Smelter to make ingots, it makes certain kinds of ingots out of those armors!!! lol. I don't know why it would.. But I'm 99% sure that's why certain armors i smithed/enchanted were disappearing! So, when using this mod, pay attention to what you're smelting!! You could be smelting your fav armor into ingots!!! Not even sure if it's the mods fault. Great mod for sure. Adds a lot of "immersive" armors, I highly recommend it! Hopefully this tidbit of info might help someone like me with a similar issue.. c0AX
  19. 150 mods? Have fun man! ;) I'm not 100% sure, but i don't believe there's a magic bullet to install 'em all again... If they're showing in NMM (presuming you backed up then re-copied your old data dir back to the skyrim dir), i'd think you just gotta "activate" them again by double clicking the mod (in the Mod tab of NMM). Don't ask me about mod order etc.. no expert there. LOOT maybe? Good Luck man! c0AX
  20. Hello. I recently got back into Skyrim (SE) after a few years layoff.. First mod i was looking for was a nice little house mod.. Nothing too complicated. I like Whiterun Stable Tower SE. It adds a small two room (up/down) Tower near the Stables in front of Whiterun. Fast Travel to Whiterun Stables and it's close by. It's got a barrel, two dressers, two end tables, one has a small Alembic (alchemy apparatus) on it. Also a strongbox, a chest, cooking pot/fireplace, table and chairs, bed, and a Shrine of Arkay.. The only thing I don't understand is why it has a wood chopping stump inside.. I think another chest woulda been more appropriate. A couple of Wall Plaques woulda been nice too. I like to go in there, and sit down, eat some ingredients to learn, then hop up, make some potion from the alchemy alembic, and then stash all the ingredients in the end table right there. Food I keep in in a cupboard I forgot to mention. So far I've put quite a few items in the available storages and haven't ran out of space. Nor has anything disappeared, and I'm level 41 now.. Quite a decent little house imho, for a little unassuming simple mod. ------------------ I was going to mention Barad Mithost. I thought it had been ported to SSE. It has not. So nm on that one. ------------------- I also installed Whiterun Mammoth Home, if you *really want bare bones*, it's not for me. And Rift Treehouse, which could be really cool, but it's a teeny little one room treehouse .. Just too small for me. And I installed Golz Nahlaas Safe House, but I can't comment on it cause I've never went to it.. Whiterun Stables Tower is the one for me. c0ax599
