Well I thought when I bought my old laptop that a gtx 670mx would be good enough but turns out it isn't. Can't run great graphics mods like realvision and other mods. I've had it for a while and it's done good but I thought about how with eventually a new bethesda game coming out, plus other games, which will have even better graphics and mods, it's prob time for a better pc. I'm not real experienced in buying gaming pcs, I have had one for about 2 years and am typically a Mac person. Realistically will I find what I want in a laptop for under maybe $2.5k or should I look into a desktop?

So what do you suggest I use? Would I be able to use tamriel reloaded HD? When you say I can't use enb are you saying I can't use realvision enb or are you saying any kind of enb?

I use about 150 mods. The prob performance heavy mods I use are realvision enb performance, CoT, EFLX, WATER, grass fields, amidianborn textures, and JK's Skyrim. I have a nvidia gtx 670mx 3gb graphics card and a 4gb*3 ram. I always crash/freeze about a minute in and I was wondering if it was because my system can't handle the graphics or a mod conflict.

Tamriel reloaded enb and tamriel reloaded hd. I have a prob around 150 mods installed. I use Mod organizer to install my mods. I also use skse. For graphics I use grass field, realvision preformance, water, amidianborn, and a few other grapics/texture mods. When I load skyrim up, it looks great, no textures messed up or anything and plays fine, for maybe about a minute then it either crashes or freezes. I've recently reinstalled skyrim and my mods and have troubleshooted a ton and fixed everything except then one thing. I've heard some places it may be that my computer can't handle it but I have a nvidia gtx 670mx 3gb and a 4gb*3 ram, BUT I may have found the issue. When I start start skyrim, on the enb thingy in the top left that tells you your using enb blah blah it says that the current video adapter is intel core, which is not good. I've tried doing the control panel thing but it doesn't work. Before I installed enb it was there, but my nvidia card isn't under the options in the skyrim launcher, only intel. And in skyrimprefs.ini it says I'm using intel. I've heard there's a chance that it just says this tho and it really runs it with the nvidia. Would this be causing the ctd about 1-2 mins in or would it be something else? I wanted to see if anyone had a solution before I try and troubleshoot 150ish mods.

I've heard some negative talk about the Showracemenu command, and I've always used it and not noticed anything but I might have just not noticed. I read somewhere that you lose your racial perks like the nords lose 50% cold resistance for example. Is this true? Also I hate it when I go into racemenu and my characters weight, skin tone, makeup/dirt tone all go away, is there any mod that changes this effect?

Ok so I have a character that is a nord, and she uses nord textures, but I like to use nouserheres ears for her but it's kinda lore breaking people calling her a nord when she has elf ears. So is there a way I can easily change it so she looks like a nord but is called a wood elf?

Basically what would it overwrite?

Which of these would Tamriel Reloaded overwrite? I want to know what mods I should delete if I decide to get tamriel reloaded.

Anyone else have any other ideas?

In the wiki it lists them all just first names. How do you identify that they are apart of that family? Anything I'm missing?

My question is, do these followers level with the character or do they keep the same level of the savegame it came from?
