This is not a debate. It would be better reposted here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/forum/8874-mod-ideas/ In English preferably if you want to get it noticed.

Wow this guy sure was persistent! A whole page of just banning one arse-hole!

Forum is often sluggish and sometimes fails to load at all
AlienSlof replied to AlienSlof's topic in Site Support
Honestly, I never thought to note the time, though sometimes it's mind morning, sometimes afternoon (UK time). I like to come and browse here while chilling in between frenzied bouts of gardening, so for me the times seem random. It usually only lasts for a few minutes when it happens. -
Quite often - and especially today - the forum has been slow to load, or even lost its way entirely, giving me the message: 'Something went wrong.' This has been going on for a long time now, on and off inconsistently. Just to be clear, only the forum seems to be like this, the main site is fine. I'm in the UK using Firefox if that helps. I did wonder if it was my connection, but that is working fine also. Only on Nexus forums have I had this issue.

Agree with this too. Choice is the spice of life.

I do agree with this one about the collections. I don't use them, never will use them; my choice of mods is a personal thing and will almost certainly not mix with a collection. An option to toggle off that section and replace with another row of mods would be much better. I know you guys want to promote collections, but judging by what I've read in this topic, many people are just not interested and would appreciate a toggle-off feature. For the most part I was perfectly happy with how it used to look, with each game having its own distinct colour scheme. It made Nexus look unique. Now it looks more like 4867246845684526 other corporate websites, monochrome and dull, with much wasted space. Oh, and the split wor ds Cringe! Sorry guys, but it really is! AlienSlof

Signwriters unite! Not many of us around any more thanks to self adhesive vinyls! I do think the words would look better - and more stylish - not split like that. I tend to read it in two separate lines and 'ew' is a word usually used to express disgust lol! There are much better eye-catching styles than doing that. I was often told 'use red somewhere' as red is the first colour the human eye registers - goes back to our tree-dwelling, red berry-eating days! I like the cartoony pics though.

I remember you too! Still around and getting older and more decrepit by the year! Not been on Beth's forums in a very long time - it wasn't the most welcoming of places as I recall.

And PURPLE!

Hi, design person, artist and retired signwriter here. Constructive crit with some humour (I hope) coming up! Although it's not exactly about the mod pages, it does relate to the home page with all the info graphics on. The little images are mostly absolutely fine but what sticks in my professional craw is the words that are split onto two lines: INTERVI EW No no no! I was always told that splitting a word like this is bad form. Every time I see this, I cringe. It looks bad and unprofessional. Better to make the word smaller and fit it into one line, really. Maybe I'm old-fashioned (I am old after all!) but please, stop splitting title words into those two lines. Please don't see this as trolling, I really just hate it though. Two words, two lines is fine. One word split onto two lines, bad. AlienSlof PS - loving being purple! It's my fave colour!

Of course they were! I bet he didn't read a single installation instruction. He didn't strike me as all that literate!

I knew it was only a matter of time before this one got the boot: All he's ever done is complain, stamp his feet and issue badly spelled threats. Not once tried to be polite and give proper details of what he was having problems with. Just 'mods dunt work for me, it all you folt!' And what's with all the site feedback queries coming into here?
-
Site feedback would be a better place for this. Devs are more likely to see it there.

Site feedback is the place for this.

I almost admire this one's persistence... almost! Time he got the message that he's not welcome!

Translations are usually welcomed by any modder, as they open up the mods to more players. Usually a translation requires the original mod anyway, if there are assets such as meshes and textures. My own mods all have open permissions for translations. Hope that helps. AlienSlof

Games based on human history, yeah, fair enough. Fantasy games, no.

Their sad lives must be so empty...

I've never understood why people insist on looking at mods they know they won't like. The mod makes it perfectly clear what it is about, yet they still go and look. Then their sensibilities are so offended they feel the need to lash out with abuse. I have had this a lot in my time as a modder, yet I have never been coy about what my mods do or what people will see. They still have this obsessive need to look. These days I just point and laugh at them, but I still don't understand their need to go look in the first place. There are 1000s of mods I don't particularly like, but I don't go looking for them or trolling the authors. People seem to forget that not everything here is going to be to their taste. Modders put a lot a lot of their heart, soul and time into what they make. People need to back off and cut us some slack.

Wow, this arse-hole is deluded on a massive scale! This reprobate needs to realise that if you take the skin off, we're all the SAME colour, same species!

I love reading the ban/warning topic! There are so many brainless nincompoops in there it makes me wonder if the parents threw out the baby and kept the afterbirth.
-
There seem to be rather a lot of these malware things at the moment. Is there nothing the site devs can do to keep these out? Some of them even seemed to have been banned twice today!
-
This is not the right topic! Nexus feedback would have probably been a better place so the moderators/admins are more likely to see it!
