  1. Just wondering if someone could explain (or provide a good tutorial) on how to make GND files for an armor mod. The mod in question is a standalone armor, that changes the heavy Imperial armor cosmetically when worn, but still uses the heavy Imperial armor GND for the world model, and items menu.

  4. Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue after installing the latest version of USSEP. I'm thinking of running CTRL-F4 in the CK, but I'm not exactly sure which files under the actors tab I'm supposed to highlight...
  5. I tried it, it didn't work. The menu would only open for my original character. I ended up downloading a mod that allows one to load more than one master file, and was able to change the NPC's appearance that way.
  6. Not sure if this is the right place to post this; theoretically if I use player.TC to play as a custom follower, if I then use the 'showracemenu' command, could I then change said follower's looks?
  7. Thanks Kroekr, that's what I had figured. I've been noticing however that Apachii (especially) is not very information friendly, and without a race menu mod that names the hair type etc. it's rather difficult to find the proper meshes and textures.
  8. If I were to pm my save file, along with a mod list and some screen shots could someone help me make a standalone follower? I've been trying to make Naryu Virian from the new Morrowind ESO trailer, I have the look down pat, but I can't seem to get the mod textures etc. worked out. Cheers P.S.   9. If I want to import a player character that is using mods like Apachii hair and Ethereal Elven Overhaul etc. will I need to create a custom race? I know how to make a custom NPC, I'm confused as to how I make sure it uses those mod assets. Thanks

  11. @Iofgren Then maybe it's a bug pertaining to the "Visit your spouse at home" quest? As I've never received the perk anywhere but when my character's spouse was at home (not following), and actually in bed.
  12. Hey Undivide, Thanks for your interest, I'm pretty sure that the spouse has to be in bed for it to work. So the trouble is that the perk is contingent on the NPC's coded routine which is variable, depending on how the NPC is scripted. E.g. Lydia seems to go to bed at 1:00am, most normal NPCs go to bed at like 9:00pm etc. So in the vanilla game you need two things to get the perk, first you need to know the spouse's sleep routine, and said spouse needs to be home. One does not get the perk if one's spouse is following your character, and in the same room. So if you are out doing a quest and decide to sleep at an inn, you can't get the perk because your spouse is a follower, and if you dismiss them they just head back home. This was of course changed in Fallout 4, where your character could sleep anywhere with their SO as a follower, and get the perk.
  13. Would it be possible to make the lover's comfort perk work like in FO4, where all you needed was your character's significant other in the same bedroom as your character, to get the perk?
  14. Would anyone be willing to make an Orcish styled armor mod, one made/textured out of dragonbone?
  15. Is there a mod that removes the t-60 power armor from the game? I'd also rather the Atom Cats have t-45 power armor, and the Brotherhood adhere more closely to the lore. Any mods that can make this happen?
  16. I'm not exactly sure how to use and connect the texfiles... I want to take this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/430/? and make it into a standalone weapon. So I added the (renamed) nif files to a new mesh weapon folder, and I added the textures files to a new file in the textures/weapon folder. I created a new weapon mod by duplicating the imperial sword, changed the stats, saved. Now how do I connect the textures from the linked mod to the new sword? I go under miscellaneous to tex files, pick any texfile rename it and edit...?
  17. Let me try this again, I would like to replace Dragonbane instead of the imperial sword, with this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/430/? how do I go about doing so? I have a bsa extractor already.
  18. Anyone interested in, or perhaps working on bigger orc strongholds or perhaps a new land mod that adds in a stronghold similar to ESO?

  20. Is there a mod that makes Orcish armor as strong as Ebony armor?
