  2. Currently Closed I've decided to take requests for followers again, seeing as I'm out of work at the moment. So if you would like a follower made just for you, request one here! Before you request, know that my skills are limited. Here is a list of what my capabilities are. Things I can't do: 3D modeling - new species or non-vanilla head meshes Scripting - advanced follower combat styles such as conditional healing or spells Quests - requirements to unlock them as a follower Custom voice - voice acting and new dialogue (well technically I can do non-voiced dialogue but that takes a lot of time, so have some consideration for other requestees) Textures from scratch - new body designs such as detailed scales or fur Things I can do: Followers of a custom race - Example Basic texture edits of vanilla or modded textures - Example Custom colors of any race - Example Marriageable followers If you still have a request, give me the following info about your desired follower Name Race Gender Voice type Level, or level min-max Equipment and Inventory Combat style Known spells and perks Location found Description of appearance Note: I'm not good with copying appearances, so it's in your best interest to provide me with the slider values or a .npc file. Also note that I currently am having difficulties getting non-vanilla sliders to export correctly - so Race Menu mod created characters aren't available right now. Each follower usually takes under an hour, so I can get quite a few done in a day or two. However, I will not be taking an indefinite amount of requests and I will close requests when I feel like I've done enough or gotten too many. So I apologize in advance if I don't get to do something for everyone. Note: Please follow this thread. If I need to ask you something about your follower I'm going to reply to your post here. If you don't answer my questions I will have no choice but to skip you. I will also be posting the finished product here, so you'll need to watch this thread to get your finished mod.   3. The first two digits of the ID tell you which mod it is from. The mods are counted in hexadecimal with 00 being Skyrim.esm and FF being items created in-game. So 01 is Update.esm, 02 is Dawnguard, 03 is Hearthfire, etc. (assuming you are using LOOT to sort your mods). I already knew this but I was looking for a mod so I could do it in game.   4. When you ctrl + F4, is there a box popping up to verify at all? When you use ctrl + F4, you have to have the actor selected in the actor section only, not the all section.
  5. I've recently started two big projects, and I don't feel like I'm getting enough communication on what I should add with just the mod page, so I'm hoping I can get some feedback here. I'm looking for requests on popular mods that I can add support for. First is a custom version of the popular Categorized Favorites Menu. If you know any mods that add weapons, armor, scrolls, potions, food, spells, shouts or powers that are widely used, then I'd like you to share them. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76762/? My other mod is an extension of Item Sorting by Saige. I'm aiming to sort a wide range of modded items so that everything sorts seamlessly.   6. I don't know if you've met your limit yet or not, but I had an idea that hasn't been done yet. A fox themed fur armor. Head: A fox head over the head like a hood. Like those other armors you see - example. Body: Two fox pelts, one looking like simple fur, positioned around the chest for females, like this. And one around the shoulders like a stole, with the head and tail visible on each end. There should be a tail attached to the back too, like a real tail. Hands: Ruffled fur around the wrists that looks fluffy on the edges, like the hide armor bracers. Boots: Similar to the fur boots already in the game, but fluffier coming out of the top and a paw design for the foot piece. For color, my main choice is snow fox, but if you're willing to do more than one color theme then I'd like to see white, red and black. I'd love you so much if you could make this a reality. I love foxes and there just aren't any fox armors in existence.
  7. I think I can take a shot. I'm not an expert modder but I would enjoy a possible learning experience and this doesn't sound too complicated. I can't guarantee that I will be successful but I will try.

  9. Can you be more specific? Provide pictures? Any particular armor? Stats? Race? If it's not a lot of 3D modeling I might be able to help you, but I have no idea who this person is.

  11. I whipped up something really quick, but I'm a bit confused. How would this be any different from a regular steel dagger? Do you want the dagger to still have the critical chance AND be enchantable?
  12. I'm looking for a mod that allows you to click on an item in-world or in your inventory that tells you what esp it's from. I already know about AddItemMenu, but I'm looking for basically the reverse of that so I don't have to go searching every mod. And no, the search item function isn't what I'm looking for because it doesn't tell you what mod it's from.
  13. I've been wanting to try modeling and this was a perfect opportunity so I took a shot. I made the sword shorter, but it still uses the vanilla texture which could look better if textured correctly. I almost finished an esp file, but I ran into a problem where the sword was out of place in game and I don't know how to fix that. Instead of pouring more time into this, I concluded that I accomplished my modeling lesson and I could figure this out some other time. So anyways, here's the model if someone wants to texture and position it. Sorry I couldn't do more.
  14. If the problem is with nifskope I'm gonna need some guidance because I didn't create the mesh, I just edited it and I know so little about the program. It uses the default khajiit texture so I assume all that is correctly skinned by the previous creator. I read a little bit about dismemberment but the thing is, this mesh doesn't have a dismemberment section under NiTriShape so I'm completely confused. I don't know what I could have messed up by simply transforming it.
  15. I've been working on modifying a beast race to have a new head. However, when I add the mouth head part, it shows up fine in the creation kit preview, but when I load it up in game it's not there at all. I've correctly linked to the mesh and added it in the head parts section in the race menu, but I have no idea why it's not showing up in game.
  16. Ok I have another question related to this. What if I want to edit the name of an item without making the mod a required master of it? Like if I wanted to make a mod that modifies a bunch of names from other mods, but not require the user to have all the mods it edits?
  17. Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. I couldn't find anything on Google, but maybe I'm not using the right search terms. I want to create a new esp file that edits the name of a spell added by another mod - without changing the original mod file. A patch, essentially. I was able to do this with another mod when I changed the name of a ring and it overwrote the original, but now every time I try to edit the name of a spell, it creates a new copy under my new esp. I don't want a new spell, I want to change the original. Any ideas on why it works for rings but not spells? Any help would be appreciated.
  18. These mods are all really interesting. I already have Skyrim Immersive Creatures and Animallica. I tried Skyrim Flora Overhaul but my laptop can't run it sadly.   19. I'm looking for mods that make Skyrim's world seem more alive when you're out exploring. I have a mod that adds to random encounters in the world, some that alter and add more wildlife, and one that adds AI to NPCs so that they are more realistic and interesting. What kind of mods do you have that add to the world experience?
  20. I'm not sure that is what I need. I'm creating a follower from an existing race mod, with hair and eye mods. And I need to get them to show up when I import a .npc file using them.
  21. I want to make an NPC that uses a custom race, custom hair and custom eyes. I understand how to use a custom race in an NPC, but the part I'm struggling with is using the custom hair and eyes. What I can't figure out is how to use these in the creation kit with a .npc file. Someone actually requested a mod from me, so all I have to work with to get the appearance right is the .npc file. I include both the mods for the eyes and hair, but when I import the file only the face shows up, it uses default hair and eyes. I figured out how to import the hair by moving the meshes to a new directory, but importing the .npc file still doesn't choose the right hair. As for the eyes, I'm completely clueless on what to do there. Any tutorials or help I can get is greatly appreciated.
