  1. How does one go about finding out exactly which mods need Precombined and pre-vis regenerating, Obviously not every mod in my load order will need it but I'm curious if master files need this process done too, I'm checking for files that break previs by following RRTV's video but I'm not sure what to do with the information I get at the end of it all as some mods will be or have been overwritten by others, so in that sense what does a user do, this is more of a generalized question but for the sake of information I shall say I think I found a couple of broken precombines in Sim Settlements but I know it's a master and gets overwritten by other mods, in such circumstances what should the average user do Any help ?
  2. I get this issue also and I am not running Fallsouls so I'm not sure what it is for me.
  3. It is such a ridiculous feature, I mean I like it but it should have been given an on/off option, It annoyed me so much that I searched long enough to find a way to actually disable it (disabling the exit save only works when exiting to main menu though, and it still works as of this current build) Now I can test mods without the fear that they're going to be trapped on my save game forever :D

Skyrim Script Extender page has a small notice on the top stating that it will not be a quick and easy process since they have to adapt to many changes and all of them will have to be investigated on a case by case basis, for word by word reference click here Also there is this informative post from behippo on Beth net forums click here All of this and the other discussions I've had with members of other gaming communities implies that this will be a long drawn out process but time will tell if that ends up being the case.

SKSE will be a while honestly since they'd have to recompile it in x64 and not x86 now, but it should still be here at some point, maybe not this year though, who knows.

Tannin has already said there will be MO like features for NMM but it will likely feature as "Addons/extensions" since the main goal here is to have this new manager sit well with everyone and not just the MO crowd. Whether it's relavent or not anymore, I feel this needs to be said... Anyone who truly supported Tannin while he was making MO (for Free no less) should have no cause to issue such crass words to him now, The only sellouts (and I'm hoping other people agree with me) is those who are turning their back on Tannin for his decision.

I always love reading your essays (sorry did I say essays, I meant posts ;) ) I do fully agree with your points though, many of the mods I have grown to love over the years have lost their original author through one way or another, It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who thinks we need to band together as a community and work to heal the rift that has been made by the past misjudgements of others.

There is no need to degrade anyone for what they do or don't like :)
  9. I think there should be a specific area designated to the wonderful talents that create so much magic in the game, yes I'm talking about the voice actors, maybe a spotlight on the main page specifically for this purpose, including a meet and greet the VA option, this would or should bring the VA and modders together and closer to the community and at the same time show them all how much them and their time/work is appreciated.

Wow the OP is way off the mark with their statement on all things mentioned. Where can I get my tin foil hat, I think the government is trying to read my thoughts ;)

I can't currently think of any of my own that would befit such a tool that hasn't already been posted up here, so instead for now until my brain kicks in, I'm going to give a solid acronym for Thallassa's idea. N.O.M.M = Nexus Official Mod Manager Everytime I see NeMO though I think of a fish, I'm not sure I could take the mod manager seriously with a name like that :D
  13. Well the first thing that jumped out at me was these lines HighResTexturePack01.esp=1HighResTexturePack02.esp=1HighResTexturePack03.esp=1 Are these 3 optimized properly or are they direct from steam, the reason I ask is the one's direct from steam are known to be a HUGE drain on your fps and loading of games due to how badly they were packed and optimized,With regards to your papyrus log if the only repeatable errors/warnings your getting are from Deadly Dragons and the mod author is still active then get him/her to look over your papyrus log and tell you if those messages are a problem.
  14. So today I was riding from Whiterun to Falkreath in a carriage (using Touring Carriages) and I couldn't help but notice the carriages look terrible, so I set about looking on the nexus for a replacer for them and I couldn't find a single one, so does anybody know of a texture replacer for the carriages or if one doesn't exist where I could find the files needed to edit to try my hand at it ?
  15. I'm not asking for secret ini settings, my game already runs as smooth as it possibly can. I was simply asking if anyone was more in the know than I about which lines of the one's listed in the spoiler tags were still used by the game, as I honestly cannot see the point of adding in settings/variables if the game does not make use of them anymore. I will persist with testing this out as well as see if more people respond to this with their own findings and or opinions :)
