  1. its fine, ive been told this before, and i added the lines that i am told, and i still get the error, and i also get this one,

    it has a different line number, so im assuming its different,

     

    do i have to click skyrim.esm update.esm and dawngaurd.esm before i click the esp?

     

    because thats what i did to get this error: (the first time i did it like this, i didnt get the first error, only the second, but the second time i did it like this, i recieved both errors.)

    EDIT2: i tried it multiple times and the errors are not consistent, its either the first only, the second only, or both.

     

    i thought i would add this error/notification, its the only other thing it brings up before it crashes

  2. the main comment problem has been solved, but i am still having problems saving, see post below (#8 )

     

     

     

    ive looked up tutorials on how to do this, and im trying to edit the damage of a sword that isnt compatible with skyre (to match the damage of normal swords in-game)

    im running into a slight problem:

    i go to File > Data,

    i select skyrim.esm and Ghosu - Auriel.esp (the mod im wishing to edit) and i set the esp as active file,

    i click ok, it starts loading skyrim.esm until it reaches about 90% and then i receive an assertion that looks like this:

    after it does this and i click whatever, CK stops resopnding and i get a crash

    this does not happen when i load skyrim.esm by itself.

    i can also confirm that it only happens for this esp

    could somebody tell me what im doing wrong so i can fix this?

  3. looks very nice so far!

     

    does the ice in the pillar slide open to reveal the entrance, or is it something you melt to get through? (taking wild stabs in the dark here :3)

     

    also, were you working on this before i posted the request or did i just inspire something great?

  4. if these errors pop up when loading a file (like skyrim.esm) in the creation kit, then no, you shouldnt have any problem with saying "yes to all" and continuing with what you are doing :)

  5. here is a link to 2 videos regarding loadorder and how to fix things up, normally what happens when you load up this many mods at once, you tend to get some issues, regarding loadorder, so im guessing that is where your problem lies

    EDIT: oh would you look at that, it brings up the video all nice, to get to the second part, click "watch on youtube" and find the next part in the related items :)

  7. because most people want to be able to go straight home from wherever they are, and since that isn't generally in one of the DLCs no ones made it.

    i understand what you are saying, but it would be cool nonetheless, mabye have a map marker, or an teleporter in one of the wayshrines that would get you there and back from darkfall cave once you have traveled to the house, mabye have the full ewer to enter or activate the teleporter or something

     

    as for faelrin, yeah, i looked at that, but yes, i was asking for a medium size home

     

    uppon closer inspection, the castle dosent look too big, kinda the size of fort dawngaurd, but this is just from examining the pictures.

     

    ill have to check it out when i wake up tomorow, and ill get back to you guys if it works :)

  8. so ive been looking around, and there is not one player home out there at all for the forgotten vale, one of the prettiest places in skyrim, and this stunned me.

     

    my question is why isnt this around? the DLC has been out for more than a year, and there is nothing.

     

    what would be cool is a player home, mabye build by aincient snow elves that decided to settle down in the valley after they have been enlightened (for lore reasons), mabye in the same style of the ruins and the temple, using dawngaurd assets.

     

    i think this would be cool, and whoever wants to make this, would have the only one around, and would be first.

     

  9. i think what i meant was that there was no longer any support as to problems with it not working, but as he said, its probably the users fault,

     

    ive been testing ENBoost, and ive still had a few crashes, ill post my SKSE ini when i can find it :tongue:

    i noticed that it uploaded as a .txt file, but it has the same information when downladed

  10. hey, so i have a lot of mods, (C5 to be exact), and my game has been getting rather unstable as of late.

    between random CTDs and some infinite loading screens, im having a few other problems too minor to name,

     

    i already use the skyrim save cleaner, LOOT (and BOSS but not as often), TES5Edit (to clean mods when needed), and have the memory patch in the latest SKSE.

     

    if there is anything that i should specifically be looking for, or some aditional tools to help my game further, please let me know :)

  11. ive noticed many folower makeover mods that makeover folowers well, but they dont usually make them look how i feel they should look, or that they simply fit with the theme of my folower group, (ex: lydia in a evil necromancer groum kinda thing)

     

    i know it exists i just cant for the life of me find where it was, or where to start looking.

  12. im not sure where to post this, so im posting this here.

     

    the shadows in skyrim are absolutley terrible, the blocky stripy flickery things that they are, and pretty much the only way to fix them is to get an ENB.

     

    thing is, i cant hadle ENBs on my machine, and therefore cant fix the shadows.

     

    ive tried alot of the "performance" ENBs out there, but none seem to do the trick, and ive noticed that the only thing i really want is the shadows fixed (i mean the godrays are nice but i dont need them)

     

    is there an ENB out there that literaly only changes the shadows? bacause if there is i would very much like it.
