Friday and Saturday are the two days i mostly have to work... escpecially the evenings (work as a bartender) This sunday, as said, i will be on quite a lot :D

Agreed with smidsy. certainly in Golf of oman. What the hell is everybody doing on the ship the fisrt few minutes? 2 people are needed for the planes, 2 for the attack helo, and maby 4 for the BH. That leaves about 20+ people to start on land. So what should happen as a plane attacks the USS Essex (yes 3rdegree, the Essex is not the name of the gun, but the name of the ship. The gun is called a Goalkeeper, it is a Dutch invention, "borrowed" by the americans who then called it a Phalanx), is.... nothing, it fly's by, drops bombs hits nothing, because everybody is fighting on lnad. That this doens't happen is their own stupid mistake. I must agree that is will get annoying when an MEC character keeps shooting the pilot, who try's to respawn, over and over again. for wake this is a bit more of a problem since it is VERY difficult to get on the main island with a boat, the chopper is there to fast as are the tanks. But raping the Essex can be very difficult if there are two goalkeepers (;)) ready to gun down the J10's

Am i the only one here who thinks two things: 1. what the hell are you people talking about, i see too much abbreviations, to much numbers too much techatalk. Is it me? or is it normal that a regular person doesn't understand a word that is said here. 2. what does this have to do with server admins :P

Yeah, eventually it was so bad that you didn't even got time to play. you were too busy kickin' and banning people :)

My rule of thumb is, the moment they break contact with the ground and get airborne, i usually fire my rockets way before that, so they impact on takeoff :dry: rule of thumb? well, that doesn't make much sense then does it? they better could have made "the rule of wrist" (sorry, had to make an inside joke, whatch Boondock Saints to understand) anyway. Shooting down airplanes taking of is a fair game i recon. would be stupid to let it take of so it can shoot you down no? might it be an idea to tell the players in the messagebox who the admins are? Got to get more players there... it is empty, and the history of the server isn't really getting hopes up as well :(

Essex maybe, but uncappable Chinese or Mid eastern bases? the have one piece of AA. Does it really work that well? Might it be an idea to change the subtext for the "server chat" forum. It still has the old IP

huray! next weekend you will find smids and me there A LOT! putting the PC's next to eachother to play one or two days uninterrupted VOIP is on i presume?

you don't get the ribbon... since there are indeed no planes in SF, maybe it's for later maps or something. I must admit, SF seems a little unfinished, there are more bugs that annoye me. But it is entertaining. Played it a lot this weekend and i liked it (exept for these terrible nightmaps)

haha. now now Gambo, SF isn't thát bad. Yes the nightmaps suck really really bad... did i mention they suck bad? because they do. But maps like Warlord, Ghost Town, Iron Gator and Mass Destruction are really cool. Maybe not a real battlefield like Zatar Wetlands, the new maps are more smalll scaled, but still very nice playing.

Allright, i just stopped for my evening of BF... Had a good laugh, 7 of our guys were on. Thanks for the mapcycle today :). Thanks for the server the last 6 months. See you guys around. By the way, SmidsY and i wil be having a mini lan tomorrow (just the 2 of us putting our PC's next to each other and play till our brains explode) so we will be on a lot from tomorrow evening till sunday evening. I heard Xfire was a good prog to find us ;)

SmidsY and myself will most likely be there to say goodbye as well. It's been great fun playing this server!

naaaa, not golf of oman... that is a real sucky sucky map. Seriously, not a map with planes in it. It wrecks the gameplay, everybody ALWAYS wants a plane. Lets get two good teamplay maps Anyway, isn't there anyting possible with sponsors or something? Gamingsource is in the top5 most popular servers of multiplay.co.uk! and i don't know if anyone noticed, but multiplay.co.uk has over 500 BF2 servers.... gamingsource is in the TOP 5 MOST POPULAR!!! this means it is in the 1% of the most popular, most played servers.

:huh: damn, well, you have off course every right, since you barely get to play. But DAMN, that's a shame, now we got to look for another server that is well adminned, in wich people will actually teamplay. Any chance that it will go back online in the future? Further, i am really sorry, but i cannot cough up money for the server because i barely get to play myself (except for now because of the holidays), and besides... i am a poor student, i really couldn't afford it even if I played 15 hours a day. Hell, I had a great time playing the server, thanks for the 6 month you had the server up and running!

If you read this topic, you would have noticed that it is increadibly dificult to unban someone. Eddy got unbanned because D4ark0ne unbanned a whole group of ID's, and by accident, he was one of them. So my advice is to wait patiently, hope you didn't piss off an admin too bad that he gave you a perm ban, or entered 100000000 minutes in the console, and next time, don't get banned :)

getting money very fast is easypeasy.. you start the game, run around a bit to get some money for the Silt strider... then you go to ghost gate (i think it was called that, it's been a while for me. There is a merchant who has an entire suite of class armor and stuff... steal it, sell it, you've got money yeah i did that too. Take the quest from the catlike creature (as i said, it had been a long time) in the "Basement" of the mage guild. then the biatch upstairs will leave and you can get all her soulgems... BUT this is what i'm wondering... where did you sell it? there is no merchant who has enough money to buy the gems from you, especially the 60000 mark gem EDIT: Merged your posts Brightash. ;) Edit: thanks :) anyway, i just came up with something else if you desperatly want money. In the east of morrowind there is a group of islands. there is a tower somewhere with this ugly darkelf guy in it (he is da bomb coz he is going to help you in the main quest), the guy with the morq where al these dead creatures are walking that you may not attack... I forgot his name. Anyway, in that building there are some valuable soulgems including a grand soulgem. fetch that, and you're rich allthough it is a shame to sell a grand soulgem, because it is the only way to create a permanent item. So I don't advise you to sell the grand soulgems. just keep them untill you can defeat the baddest creatures (of which i forgot all the names) and soultrap them in it.
