Ulfberth War-Bear disappeared from Whiterun
TwilightDB replied to TwilightDB's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Placeatme is bad. Don't use it. May i ask the reason so i can understand why it's a bad code to use? Would it create a conflict? I've already used it and didn't notice any issues at least yet. -

There is a "Start New Topic" button on the right hand side of each forum that you want to post in that you click on. -
Hi Everyone, I thought to ask around to see if this happened to anyone else or if anyone can help me bring him back from where ever he went on vacation to? I've looked in Warmaidens one day and he wasn't in there. There were no attacks inside Whiterun as far as i know: i've checked around outside Warmaidens, around Breezehome, inside the Bannered Mare, in the hall of the dead, broke into his home to see if he was in there too, went to the skyforge in case he was standing there after kodlak's death and i cant locate him at all. :wallbash: I dont think he can leave Whiterun, but not sure of that at the moment. Is there a console code that i can use to bring him back?

I need help with the Blood on the Ice Quest =(
TwilightDB replied to TwilightDB's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
The thing is that when I enter Windhelm for the first time; I head straight to the graveyard and the victim is Susanna the Wicked laying on the crypt surrounded by the three witnesses like she was already dead the same day I set foot inside the front gates. I guess that this specific quest has always been buggy like DyvimSlorn said? I'll try pickpocketting the key as soon as I get that skill going which could be awhile. Thank you for your input! -
Okay, so my Skyrim game seems to be behaving badly lately, hahah. This time I was attacked at my lakeview home by a dragon which was killed and the soul absorbed leaving the skeletal husk behind. The skeleton doesn't disappear and stays there, is there any way to get it to go away? Something similiar happened in my last Skyrim game except it was a dragon skeleton inside Solitude city itself. I didn't install any dragon mods and i don't use SKSE or any related SKSE mods; so i don't know what might be going on.

I've been playing Skyrim over a few times and each time, the "Blood on the Ice" quest is bugged in some way that it seems like i can never complete it to the point that i won't be able to get the house in Windhelm. I've installed the latest skyrim patch 2.00 and this time the guard doesn't show up around the site of the murder where Susanna the Wicked lays and the three witnesses are standing around repeating their lines; I've reloaded the save just before i enter Windhelm several times thinking it might be a specific time and still no luck! Please help  I'm playing on a PC version of the game.

I'm thinking about getting a Asus laptop recently and was looking at the system requirements for Skyrim, the specs are below. My question is: Would Skyrim run properly with Windows 8 or should I have Windows 7 loaded on the unit instead; it's sort of come to my understanding that Windows 8 was/is not really that great and there was a protest over that OS. Processor Intel® Core™ i7 4700HQ Processor Operating System Windows 8 Chipset Intel® HM87 Express Chipset Memory DDR3L 1600 MHz SDRAM, up to 32 G Display 17.3" 16:9 FHD EWV LED Backlight/ HD+ EWV (1600 x 900) Non-Glare LCD Panel Graphic NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 765M 2GB GDDR5 VRAM Storage 2.5" 9.5mm SATA 750GB HDD 7200 RPM Dual HDD Support

Recently I brought a follower to a house that I own (eg, hearthfire home or a player designed house mod) and then had them leave my services. They didn't leave the house and stayed inside the dwelling like if they live there; they are not a housecarl or a steward, just a follower mod (Lunari followers) which i just had follow me from their original load point. Is this a common occurance with follower mods? The Vanilla followers usually goes back to where I originally pick them up from.

Hehehe, It's a attractive armour; which is why i remember it

I think it's called the "Argent" armour which comes in white or black http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38229//? I hope that's it

Being semi-new to modding my PC skyrim game, I chose the Sevenbase body to experiment with; since it's a recently new release of a body replacer, however it's confusing on what skin could be used with it that covers the entire shape and not just the head/face portion. Currently, I'm using "Coverwomen Look 1" only and I think the entire body looks okay, but I'm sure it could be better, there is a slight discolouration around the neck. I read somewhere that any UNP skin will work on the Sevenbase body since the replacer is based off the UNP shape. Any suggestions on what skin mod would look good would be a welcome

Followers going back to wearing their basic equipment
TwilightDB replied to TwilightDB's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Thank you, that does help explain Illia; next time I restart a new game of Skyrim, I'll give her a home with the Blades instead so she wouldn't be living alone after the Dark Tower quest. -
Greetings everyone from a new Skyrim player

Thank you very much for the warm reception here! I was lurking the Skyrim Nexus for awhile during the second month of playing Skyrim like most newbies do (newbies are easily intimidated by awesomeness!); but I managed to find myself to post here and I already have attempted to post a few questions last night athough, in the wrong subforums with one of them. I logged on to see if any of them have been answered so far to help me continue with my adventures! There are quite a number of things that went wrong with my game so far, abit not really a technical issue I think; but I'm sure I'll be asking alot of questions about my game play experience (even though I've had to restart the adventure from scratch a few times before I discovered the unofficial Skyrim patches. -
I dont know if this has been discussed before or not? There are some really nice homes made by the talented content creators here and although they are gorgeous; they also feel a bit lonely inside as all basic and hearthfire homes have either a Housecarl or a Housecarl and Steward assigned to them. Would it be difficult to design a mod that would allow a player to select a homeless follower and assign them as a housecarl and/or a steward to a player designed home; even as a replacement to an existing home in case the steward or housecarl dies.

Recently, the bard I hired for one of my Hearthfire homes, died inside the actual house from bandits that actually got in! Anyways, Illia who is my steward doesn't have a option to go out and hire a new bard. I didn't know about the Resurrect command at the time, so now one of my home is bardless; would anyone know if there is a existing mod or one that might be in the works for the possible future? Thanks!

I find it odd that most of the followers that I re-equip with higher grade crafted enchanted and smithed items are wearing it at the time I give the new equipment to them; then the next time I visit them, they are wearing their base equipment with absolutely no trace of what I gave them the day before. Illia from Dark Tower did that to me on several occassions and she is a steward at one of my hearthfire homes; all the Lunari followers did the same thing today and I spent like 4 hours enchanting and outfiting them all last night. I even removed their basic equipment from their inventory to try to prevent them from re-outfitting themselves again with their base gear. Any insight would be appreciated with this problem as I would like them to survive the bandit and giant attacks.

I picked up Skyrim like 4 months ago and haven't been able to put it down since! It's a absolutely stunning world that Betheda came out with and I'm sorry that I didn't pick it up years ago when it was first released. Being somewhat bloodied now, I hope that you all don't mind a newbie wandering these forums asking questions in the correct sub-forums about the game, it's mechanics and of course all the great content that I've discovered.
