  1. My active misc quest is to clear Moss Mother Cavern. Does it not have a target? I want to be able to know where that place is located.
  2. I have an active miscellaneous quest, but when I use the clairvoyance spell, it says there is no active quest.

  5. I just downloaded some custom spell mod, and I would like my companions to utilize it. Is it possible that I can let my follower learn this spell, and use it on combat, or does it have to be done outside of the game?

  7. Hi, do you have male companions? I have other companion mods and they have a .esp and a .esm file. Spike has only 1 file, I think although not sure that this might be the cause. If you have tried spike and it didn't work for you as well, maybe the problem could be with the spike file,
  8. I think that might be true, maybe that is why everything is slowed down. What I had in mind is not really a time freezing spell, but a spell to freeze people, when used, time will still move. I am ok with your idea, they still won't be able to shoot arrows or hurl fireballs if they are frozen anyway. Of course it would still look cool to see an arrow in midair, if the game allows it. So there would be three types of spells, freeze hostile, freeze friendly/neutral, and freeze both friendly/neutral and hostile, and an unfreeze spell by casting it again if no one in the group yet is unfrozen. It's an AOE spell, and companions and followers should not by affected by this spell. I found this mod More Interactive Items - Grab Moveable Statics, I think what it does is make objects moveable. I don't know, but this might help also in making objects in animate.
  9. I downloaded Spike. He requires the ApachiiSkyHair_v_1_5_Full-10168-1-5-Full file, which I have installed. The game still crashes.
  10. <p>I just downloaded a character, inside the zip file is 1 .esp file. I also download the required mods and installed them all in data folder. I checked the launcher data files and even tried loading it first. It still crashes my game, right after the Bethesda loading screen it exits. If I remove the file, the game will load fine. I thought there might e something wrong with the download, so I tried downloading other companions, but it still doesn't work. I already tested 3 different files.</p>
  11. Hi, I am fairly new to this site, and would be very interested in creating my own mods but I don't have the talent and resources. I would just like to ask the available possibilities in making followers, before I continue my knowledge. Things I wanna know are. First, is it possible to make a follower that will only know certain types of spells, in game or downloaded? and Second, is it possible to set which spells they will use actively, and which spells they will only use when asked by the player, and incorporate it into an in game menu?
  12. Hi Blacksupernova, thank you for your interest in my request. With regards to freezing ammo, I think the time stop shout or was it slow time shout can freeze everything including the ammo. What happens if an enemy shoots an arrow and you use the freeze spell, will the arrow fall down, or continue flying until it hits a target? Also since this is an AoE spell, can you please include a specific target spell, it would ignore the other conditions, except the remaining time of freezing. I did found a time freeze spell that does stop everything for 15 secs max, including ammo, and even flowing water. Well, the ammo, or fireball was not exactly stopped, it only moved at a much slower rate. Any new fireball thrown will also move at a slower rate, I kind of want to immobilize only those moving things before the spell is cast, so any new fireball thrown after would still hit targets at a normal rate. The spell also affects everyone, including the followers, but you said you could satisfy most of the conditions, so it should not be a problem to you. Here is the link to the spell I'm referring to. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9649 One last thing, if you could make the unfreeze spell not a different type of spell (there is not really plenty of slot, just left and right click), but when it is cast again of a freeze spell when everything within the condition is still frozen to take effect. For example, if I use the freeze all hostile characters, and I use it again while they are all still frozen, they will all unfreeze, but if one one them is unfrozen because of a higher level, then it works as a freezing spell to freeze again the character that broke free from the freeze, but it should not double the time to those low level characters that are still immobile, however it can add to the freezing time up to the maximum. For the ammo, fireballs, and other thrown weapons, since they have no level, I think they should be treated like they are in level 1.
  13. I would like to request a set of teleportation spells. edit: I searched the site and found spells that are very similar. It only needs a little tweaking to be the same as my request. Is it possible to work on a mod based on an already existing mod by someone else? Also, the spells are very hard to acquire in game because there is a quest that needs to be finished. 1. teleport to a city - teleports caster and followers near outside of the city. - only works if you've already been to the city, or if you're required to go there by a quest. - a pop up will ask to which visited city you want to go to. (there is a similar spell Psijic Teleport Spells by Sjogga90) the Omnipresence 2. teleport to a character - teleports caster and followers nearby to a character, wherever they maybe. - only works if you've already met the character, or if it is part of a quest. - a pop up will ask who you would like to go to. 3. teleport behind - teleports caster behind the target, so they can avoid getting hit, and can attack target from behind. (there is a similar spell Psijic Teleport Spells by Sjogga90) the Shadowstep/Shadowdance 4. teleport away - banishes target someplace far away. - a setting to chose where to dump the characters or items, so it won't ask everytime, either to a different city, just somewhere really far across, or banish to oblivion. - must not work if character or item is an important part of a quest. - it would be nice if it has a longer cooldown, so it won't be abused or overpowered. (there is a similar mod Banish Everything - Conjuration Spell by KahjiitRaj) although it only banishes the target to oblivion, so they will never be seen again. 5. teleport armor - teleports target's armors whether they are alive, dead, or undead. - a setting to chose where the armor will go, so it won't ask everytime. on the ground, in inventory, or automatically equip. 6. teleport weapon or sheild - teleports target's weapons or shield whether alive, dead, or undead. - a setting to chose where the weapon or shield will go, so it won't ask everytime. on the ground, in inventory, or automatically equip. if auto equiped, it will equip on the hand that cast the spell. 7. teleport deflect - teleports arrows, fireballs, or any thrown items back at the target. (there is a similar spell Reflection Ward and Reflecting Spellbreaker), but has a kind of shield thing that does the deflecting, the version I had in mind is just a hand gesture without the shield thingy, and the fireball or arrow would be enveloped in tiny circle lights and deflected. 8. teleport to location - teleports caster to wherever the target cursor is pointing. - useful for hard to reach locations, like cliffs, or across water. - can also be used to easily escape jail, or enter locked rooms. - should also include followers. (there is a similar spell Psijic Teleport Spells by Sjogga90) Teleport, the long distance version Each spell cost only a minimum amount of magic, but has a cooldown of 5 secs each. Whenever a character or item is being teleported, it would have a bright bluish tiny circles light as a special effect. I hope this is not too difficult to make and someone would be interested enough to make it. If you have any question and are confused about something, feel free to ask in this thread.
  14. Hi, I have been playing skyrim for months, but this is my first time on this forum. I hope it's ok for a newbie to make requests. The request I have in mind is for a freezing spell that can be selective. I have searched the site for freezing spells, but there are none that are selective. The the type of characters each spell can freeze are: 1. all characters, except followers, will freeze. 2. only hostile characters will freeze. 3. only friendly or neutral characters will freeze. If they are animals, it will depend if they are hostile or not. Objects like flying arrows or armours will always freeze whatever type of freeze selection is used. The freezing spell should last 10 secs, and increases 5 secs as the character increases in level. If a character is of higher level, their freezing time is reduced by -2 secs, if it reaches zero, they can't be frozen. If a frozen character is hit, the freezing time will be reduced further by -2 secs. A spell to unfreeze, incase the caster made a mistake and intends to freeze only hostile, or only neutral characters. Special effects like lighting or fogs when the spell is cast are not necessary, maybe just a simple sound effect. Please don't make the spell tome difficult to acquire, like perhaps make it buyable from any merchant.
