    I have modded skyrim to the maximum mods before, on fallout 4 it shouldn't be a huge problem. Merge armor mods and merge other mods.

    I remember using something called FNV plugin to merge ESP files when I was playing Fallout New Vegas.

  2. Currently I have 218 active plugins and I know 255 is the limit.

    I used to use FNV Plugin Utility for merging esp files back when i was playing New Vegas and I have tried to Google for a similar tool for FO4 but couldn't find one.

    yes I am sure it's possible with FO4Edit but it's just not really an easy tool to use.

    The old FNV Plugin Utility was so easy to use that it required a few clicks for me to merge like 20 esps into one single file.

  4. I've kinda been wondering. There are probably hundreds of vanilla npc and companion overhaul mods out there that change their faces with an ESP file

    but there are also mods and console commands that enable the in-game facial reconstruction feature for NPCs.

    So is it better/safer to use an ESP file than simply download a preset and/or change the appearances of the NPCs in game?

     

    The reason im asking is because these esp files that only change the appearances of the npcs may conflict with some of the mods that also change other things like scripts or whatever for the same npcs which should make using Looksmenu presets a much better option

    Good news (actually it's horrible news) I figured out what was causing me to crash around red rocket. It was beantown interiors :''''( I don't know yet if this is what caused the crashing in concord as well

     

    I crashed with that too. Do I know it's this one mod or just some combination of conflicting factors? No.

     

     

    It seems I have the same problem.

    I've been reading the previous posts so is it really Beantown interiors that is causing ctd?

  6. The game keeps crashing every time I fast travel to either Vault 101 or Springvale then fast travel out of there. I am pretty sure there must be a conflict between the millions of mods that I am running but not sure which...

  7. and almost a year after the last post...

    I am stuck at Tranquility Lane and I don't have iguana, live or dead, in my inventory. Actually I've been trying to remove all the stupid iguanas by turning it off in the built-in MartsMutantMod menu but they still spawn in some areas...

    I dont really expect any replies any time soon and I'll probably either give up or find a solution else where before that :D

     

     

    edit: problem solved after I sold tons of junk in my inventory to the merchants before entering the pod :D

  8. Are you using enb boost ?

    I had it enabled the whole time :(

     

    ENBoost is ENB without support for any of the graphical enhancements. The functionality of ENBoost is built-into ENB.

     

     

    Either go back to an older version of ENB or continue tweaking your preset.

    Yeah thats what I did. I went back to using v0216

    so is this a hardware related problem? Because I am using a two yr old PC with Sandybridge PentiumG, 8GB ram and Radeon 6750 1gb

  9. I actually managed to fix it on my own after setting Boss' update source to the right place and restarting it- it sorted everything out fine, and the load order seems good! I DID put Skies at the bottom- so thank you for that. :blush: BOSS recognizes everything and I'm good to go- works great!

     

    A combination of frustration and beer on top of a bad day is not a good place for modding. Approaching it after a good night's sleep helped immensely.

    Glad you got it working.

    It took me hours of reading and googling to learn about load order and how to use all the tools needed to make the game run smoothly with all the awesome mods available on this site so yeah...

I upgraded to the latest ENB v0249 from 0216 earlier today and was at first pleased by the additional options and features but also noticed a fps drop from 30-35 to 20-25 indoors then I fast travelled to Goodsprings and the fps dropped even more which made the game unplayable. So I lowered a lot of the settings and disabled some like bloom and dof but the frame rate stayed the same so I wonder if there is a conflict between the latest ENB and some of the mods I am using like Dynamo enb presets or maybe the 4gb enabler. I know I need to upgrade my pc soon but I have been able to play TR2013 with high settings and that fancy ponytail and still got 25fps so I thought I should be able to play this 4yr old game even with all the mods.
