  1. Do I need to open any other files in NIFSkope or Blender? It works(Not that there was any reason to doubt it would.), but the model I used to test it has these gray spots on it when I import the OBJ file into Blender. I should probably mention that I am completely new to Blender so I have no idea if there's something I'm supposed to do to get rid of those grey spots on an otherwise white textureless model, or if that's supposed to be there.
  2. I'm just guessing that this is the right place to ask this, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm trying to figure out how to import models from mods into Blender, specifically armor and hair, but I'm having trouble figuring out how. There's no direct way to import a NIF file into Blender, and every guide I've looked at is years old and mentions needing to use an older version of Blender. I tried that, but Blender 2.49b refuses to run. I have the required version of Python installed, and Blender 2.49 did run once, but after I closed out of it it refuses to open again. Now it just stops working on startup. No matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall it it won't work, even tried repairing Python. So I'm wondering if there's another way I can get these files into Blender 2.78? Can I just open the NIF files in NIFSkope and export them as OBJ files and import them into Blender 2.78? Or is there absolutely no way around importing them into Blender 2.49 and exporting them as BLEND files and then importing into Blender 2.79?
  3. Sounds like there isn't much left to be done, but then again I don't know, well, anything about this sort of stuff, so for all I know there could be three months of work left. Well, hoping it comes out soon, but good to at least hear something.
  4. So, after reading your response I did a little extra digging in that specific followers folder, and I found that it had its own skeleton separate from XPMSE's skeleton that every other character in my game was using. So I decided to try copying over that skeleton with mine and it worked. Apparently the followers skeleton didn't support what I was using, so even though it had the required body, the skeleton couldn't use the physics. So now the problem is solved and I'm going over other followers to make sure there isn't another one like this.
  5. This is the first time I've run into this problem so I decided to come here and ask for help. I have a lot of followers that I downloaded from Nexus, but a lot of them use custom bodies that can't be overridden by mods and normally it's not the body I use(I use UUNP, most followers use one of the other UNP variations that aren't affected by UUNP physics mods or CBBE), so I overwrite the femalebody NIF's to give them the body I use. I was told to do this by a mod author, but now that I have, the breast and butt physics aren't working. The follower got the body and surprisingly there aren't any seams. I can also see that the texture I overwrote the original with also worked... but the physics aren't working and that bugs me. Is there something else I need to overwrite? Rearrange the mod order? Did something I overwrote screw with that? It's just stumping me. Just for the record, I use Mod Organizer and the mod I use for the physics doesn't have an ESP, so I can't actually move it in the load order. And before anyone asks, the physics mod I use cannot be found on Nexus, so I'm not sure if I can mention it by name here. But I'm not sure that would really change anything since most physics mods work the same way.
  6. Base SE doesn't have subsurface scattering, that's important. ENB has that.
  7. Plain and simple, we need 2K or 4K skin textures that work on vanilla bodies and play nice with subsurface scattering now that ENB is available for SSE. I'd love an SSE compatible version of Skysight Skins. I tried to just use it with SSE and unfortunately it was one of the few mods that didn't work with it. Caused a CTD when loading.
  8. If you have an ebony blade retexture, I'd try uninstalling it and see if that helps. Also, if you have a scar mod, I'd uninstall that too as it doesn't play well with Irileth. All of that only applies to ported mods, as far as I'm aware.
  9. Disable Northborn Scars. And if you have an ebony blade retexture, disable that too. I had this problem as well. Irileth doesn't seem to play well with scar mods, at least ports anyway. And Dragonsreach as a whole CTD's if you have an ebony blade retexture installed, again probably a problem with ports. I learned this the hard way.
  10. I have SMIM SSE. That's depressing if that is the problem, but I guess I don't have much choice but to check if I really want to keep playing. And I have figured out that it wasn't any of Arthmoors settlement mods or the JK series(Which I'm only using the ones currently available for SE. I'd like to use them all(Despite incompatibility with Arthmoors mods... I think.), but when it comes to ESP's I'm a bit more wary of what I port over to SSE. EDIT: Brumbek claims, repeatedly, that SMIM is not caushing this sort of crash. And he said if it is, it's likely a VRAM problem, which I find somewhat hard to believe considering I'm running a GTX 980ti and not experiencing any framerate drops.
  11. I'll look into that since I have JK's Riverwood installed. Also, just realized I posted this in the wrong place. Oops.
  12. Topic title. I complete the opening, leave the cave with Hadvar, we walk down the dirt path for a bit, Bleak Falls Barrow comes into view, and then, the moment I set one foot on the main road, the game CTD's. I've had a lot of problems over the last few days, but typically the cause of the problem was too hard to work out with the help of others. This though, this will probably stump me until the end of time because I don't even have a mod that affects roads.
  13. Can anyone confirm if the following mods work: - Immersive Armors - Immersive Weapons - Interesting NPC's - Inconsequential NPC's - Winter is Coming
  14. Hey, that looks just like the mountain problem I had earlier. Guess that means its was a mesh problem after all.
  15. I just went through today and the only changes I made to my mod list is that I removed my scar mod(Northborn Scars) and warpaint mod. Removing those two, didn't check which one it was, but probably the scar because Irileth has a scar, allowed me to walk right up to her with no problems. Try uninstalling whatever scar and/or warpaint mods you have and try it again.
  16. Found the culprit: Vivid Landscapes - Tundra. I made a new mod profile so I could keep my installed mods intact, uninstalled all the mods in the new profile, and slowly turned a few of the likely candidates on. I narrowed it down to Vivid Landscapes and it ultimately turned out to be the Tundra mod that was doing it. EDIT: Okay, so scratch that, there's more than one mod affecting the mountain. I feel like it might have something to do with meshes, but I'm not entirely sure.
  17. The vast majority are ports with nothing done to them. I just manually downloaded them and put them into the SSE NMM. Just from looking around I can tell that the textures are working. And if there has been a mod that caused a problem, typically it crashed or froze the game until I removed it. My plan is to slowly replace the ported mods with official SSE versions as they're uploaded. The maker of Skyrim HD has already said he'll be porting Skyrim HD to SSE and make the necessary fixes that he must to make it work properly. So I'll probably swap that in when he uploads it.

Does not include the vast majority of my mods because those mods don't show up in the load order and because of how many there are it'd take too long to manually list them. The mountain textures I used at first were Skyrim HD, but when I noticed the shininess of his textures, I swapped his landscape textures for a combination of Vivid Landscapes and Gecko's 4K Mountain Texture(Which is officially available for SSE FYI.). This is when I noticed these weird gray patches. So I uninstalled Gecko's textures and replaced them with Northfire's Photoreal Mountains from vanilla Skyrim. I thought that maybe Gecko's textures were incomplete. Northfire's were just a test because they had parallax on them which made them freak out in game. I just wanted to see if they covered the gray rocks. They did not. So I swapped Northfire out for Skyrim Realistic Texture Overhaul Mountains, still the same problem. So then I decided to check vanilla after uninstalling SRTO. And as you can see, that changed nothing. The only other mod I have is called Rocks and it ups the poly count on the smaller rock's/stones laying around Skyrim. Now that you mention it though, I do have USSEP installed twice. The ESP is only there once, but I overwrote 4.0 with 4.1 while leaving 4.0 installed. I'm not used to using NMM anymore because I had switched to MO with vanilla Skyrim.
  19. NMM does screw up the categories for me, but all the mods I've installed through it have worked just fine. Well, unless they conflict with the game since most of them are ports from vanilla Skyrim.
  20. Okay, so I have zero idea as to what is going on here. I'm climbing the Throat of the World on my way to see the greybeards. I expect a lovely nighttime climb with the beautiful new graphics. And then, all of a sudden, the high resolution mountain gives way to massive gray blobs that have this weird effect that resembles static fuzz from older televisions when you'd lose signal and have to screw with the antenna's. Here are some screenshots I took: http://i.imgur.com/w9y0cR7.png http://i.imgur.com/RnOJQlY.png http://i.imgur.com/ptn5ZzT.png http://i.imgur.com/VadHalM.png I have no idea what's happening. I did have mountain texture mods installed, but I uninstalled them to see if that changed anything. As you can tell by the vanilla textures on other parts of the mountain, that did not help in the slightest. I haven't noticed this anywhere in the game world, just on the Throat of the World. And I absolutely refuse to climb up this thing with this kind of eyesore.
  21. I have well over 230+ mods, the vast majority of which are texture mods, and would take way too long to list. Does Irileth have warpaint or a scar? I feel like maybe a mod related to those might be the cause if she does. It has to be something directly related to her in some way.
  22. So this is less of a request, and more of a question, but I figured it fit best here in the event that it was possible and someone decided to take up the challenge. Look at Skyrim Special Edition, which is kind of like a half step between Skyrim and Fallout 4, it really looks like an ENB is unnecessary. I mean, it would be fine if you could use an ENB's features without needing a preset(because no one makes a preset that only adds the features that ENB offers while retaining the vanilla look of the game.). Stuff like subsurface scattering and parallax/tessellation. Fallout 4 has that stuff built-in along with better skeletons, physics(Correct me if I'm wrong. I heard somewhere that Special Edition does have better skeletons and physics that are similar if not the same as Fallout 4's.), and material shaders among some other DX11 features that Special Edition might not have. So I'm curious if it would be possible to, I guess in this case, port stuff from Fallout 4 down to Skyrim Special Edition.
  23. Well, Book of Silence is multiple mods. Armors and Weapons are two different mods. Those aren't the only mods I have installed of course, they're just the only ones that directly alter Irileth. No other mod touches anything on her.
  24. What the topic title says. The minute Irileth appears in my FOV, the game freezes and I can't close it so I have to restart my computer or log off to fix it. I have zero idea what's causing it. I've already tried uninstalling the three mods(Book of Silence Weapons & Armor; Superior Lore Friendly Hair Textures) that were affecting her and it changed nothing. I'm out of ideas and wondering if anyone has encountered this problem before.
  25. Superior Lore Friendly Hair is simply a texture mod for the vanilla hairs. Makes them 2K with smooth and rough variations. If I had to guess it is probably that mod so that's the one I'll try removing first. And if it isn't that one, then it'll probably be Book of Silence Armors or Weapons. If it isn't any of those mods, then it means it's one that simply affects Dragonsreach and that doesn't play nice with Irileth for some reason. EDIT: Turned off all three mods, didn't change anything. The game still froze, except this time I turned around before Irileth got there and it froze the second she came into view. Didn't look like anything was wrong with her. So now I'm baffled as to what could possibly be causing the game to freeze. Makes me feel like I'll have to use the console to skip this, but it might still happen during Dragon Rising when I return to Dragonsreach... heck I probably wouldn't be able to do the quest at all because I have to go with her to slay the dragon, and if it has nothing to do with Dragonsreach in particular, then it'll just keep freezing the moment she comes into view.
