  1. Sorry for doublepost, but there is something more Hey another question, would be cool if you guys could help me with this one. I tried to make a new hairstyle for Nord with Orc hair. It fits now with the nord head but I have a problem with the head extra parts. It's kinda hard to explain when you're not into this but it's actually not that complicated so please don't get scared away because of all that text. So I took the orcmalehair17.nif and then the hairlinemaleorc15.nif and fitted them onto a human head. Looks good this far, but I wanted to add stubbles so it doesn't look so bald and took the maleredguardhair01.nif, so basically the normal stubbles you can take in game. But now it seems that the extra parts from the hairline and stubbles are somehow overlapping. See picture. http://s1.directupload.net/images/140803/temp/5nsh62tf.png My question is why and can it be helped? Other thing is, I wanted to change the pigtail to another one = orcmalehair.14. But just the pigtail and add it to my custom mesh that I fitted for Nords = orcmalehair17.nif. http://s7.directupload.net/images/140803/temp/ofa3q435.png Is there a way to "cut" the pigtail from the one, delete the one from the other, and then add the one I want? Sounds little confusing I guess, but still I know there are a lot of useless file names that probably won't help, but maybe someone knows what am I talking about and can even help. Would be really really nice, since this doesn't seem like a big thing to someone who knows how to create models and work with meshes, sadly I have no idea how to do it and i would value every help you can get me.
  2. Hey I know this is kinda old, but is there a solution for this ?
  3. Hey I need a little bit of help with this. I want to change the orignial Breezehome to a bigger house. In a concept of Whiterun you can see that behind the Warmaiden there is a bigger house with a tower, probably the Battleborn house (WRHouseWind02). Anyway, I want the same now for Breezehome, sadly Whiterun is made out of "plates" or bases. So you can't really change much because there is, mostly, only one way to order the bases. Otherwise they won't fit together. I need to change the "WRBreezeBase" so the House fits on it, but I have no Idea how. Can someone help me with this, any ideas or maybe even someone who can work with models etc. because I really tried a few times but I'm not good for modeling. I'll post some pictures On the right side behind the first house with the two drunkshttp://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20131112044629/elderscrolls/images/8/85/Whiterun_Interior.jpg

  5. Hey all, I'm pretty sure there is already some one who's been asking this but I wanted to know if anybody knows what hair this is? I don't belive that this hair is in vanilla Skyrim, but it is on one of the first screenshots that been released. http://cdn2.gamefront.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/sky16.jpg
  6. Okay great, you gave me an idea. Thanks. It's a little bit too much work for a small thing like this but I'll give it a try.
  7. Hello everyone, I wanted to create a new hair for my character. I was thinking of Ragnar from the series "Vikings" and there is even a hairstyle that looks smiliar ingame, but it is for orcs. So I tried anyway but I'm not that happy with the result. I tried to move it in the nifskope but it don't look very good. Look here: http://i.imagebanana.com/img/v151wbok/thumb/back.png http://i.imagebanana.com/img/q3526079/thumb/front.png http://i.imagebanana.com/img/rtvzvfy3/thumb/othrside.pnghttp://i.imagebanana.com/img/zm2him0l/thumb/side.png http://data3.whicdn.com/images/65648241/large.jpg That's the original Ragnar. I just want the edge of the hair straight, like in the original picture, because ingame it looks very odd. Is there something I can do about it or someone who can fix this or at least a few tipps? Thanks for any help!
  8. Hello, I've got a problem changing the landscape textures. I want to change a few houses etc. in Riverwood so I decided to first take everything and move it away then change the landscape, just a little. But somehow I can't change the textures on the dark spots where the houses were. Is this not possible, to change vanilla places this far? http://i.imagebanana.com/img/1j8xrkx5/thumb/Unbenannt.png EDIT: After hours of testing everything out I figured it out myself. When you want to change the dark spots, ( not the texture itself! ) just klick on Edit Colors and now you can change the dark spots too, just for anyone who's intrested. Thanks to myself!
  9. I also thought about that, the most NPC's are just boring. A little diffrence in their day would be cool. Take Gerdur from Riverwood for example, she is supossed to work at the Mill, so Hod is working the mill and she could a least go into the forest nearby and search for good trees or sit somewhere down and write stuff, dunno like the shipments. There are a lot of NPC's who could use a "makeover". And I belive there is a mod that changes at least the respect of the guards, so you don't have to hear things like "Ohh heard about you and your honeyed words" while you just saved the whole world. There is also a mod that reduces the distance which makes the NPC's talk to you, so pretty usefull if you don't want to hear Nazeem talking s#*!. Also makes the NPC's less "intressted in you". But at all, I know ya feel bro. I hate it in game, after you finished the whole mainstory and even the side and guild quest, nothing really changes. There is a lot they could have put more effort in.
  10. Do you know how to start on that? Or maybe a good tutorial, I'll search later on google but maybe if you know something good, it would help. And about the radiant quest, I'm sure there is a way to delete the places which should be repleced from this quests. I know that could be a issue for some people but I don't have a problem with it, even if the radiant quest wouldn't be radiant at all. So still, what do you think of this? Any ideas for other places or for the use of this places?
  11. What do you mean with edit the mesh for the greatsword? Do you want to look the two handed sword like one handed? You could just change the greatsword to a one hand sword in the Creation Kit. The greatsword would still look like the same and you could "carry" it in one hand and act like it's a one handed sword.
  12. How about a mod that changes the dungeon respawn? I'm pretty sure there is already a mod that covers the respawn but I thought it would be better if some caves, dungeons would still respawn with bandints while others doesn't. Let me explain: Caves that has no "function" are still respawning with bandits, like Redoran's Retreat near Whiterun. ( Just an example, if you think it has an use tell me ) BUT: T The Halted Stream Camp for example is rich on iron ore, so it would be only good for the Whiterun Hold if they could send some miners and guards there to dig up the Ore. Instead of all the blood and trash outside it could be cleaned and replaced with some tents, tables, chairs etc. for the miners. So instead of respawning the bandits, the mine would have a use now. After you cleared the dungeon of course! You would have a feeling that you have accomplished something in clearing the mine. I'm sure there are a lot of other caves where you could do this but I didn't search for it, because I just had to write my idea down. :D If you know some more places where you could do this please let me know! Please if anyone know how to do this, help me! I'm ready to try this on my own, but I have no idea how to script, if it's about scripting. I already know the one or another thing on the CK but have no idea how to start on this. So please help me with this if you can and first of all tell me what you think about this!
  13. Oh okay, I thought so but when I see all the armor mods out there they also seem to be build from scratch. That's probably a lot of work, sure, but not more then you would spend on finishing a vanilla armor, am I right? I know that the "stacking" of armor layers would be quite complicated but it would be at least cool to finish the different layers, which I mentioned earlier, to increase the variety ingame with vanilla armors.(Just normal armors, no stacking, no layers, just different armors which you can wear individual.) There is a kind of gambeson armor in Dawnguard but with a lot of "extras", I just wish some simple lore friendly armors with no "faction affiliation". That's how I came with the idea to "take appart" the vanilla armors. I think I can forget the different stacking armor layer mod and the Bandoliers Mod is great, but I don't know about the Pauldrons and Graves Mod, didn't find anything intressting so far on Nexus. Anyway thanks for your help. :)
  14. I dunno much about this, but how about you try to adjust the fov? There is a command for that. You just type in the console "fov" and then for example 90, "fov 90", (the F3 standard is fov 70). The problem is, if thats what you want, you would have to change it every time you start the game. But there is an option which allows you to change it permanently I haven't try out yet myself, add "fDefaultWorldFOV" to your Fallout.ini and it should stay, but as I said, I dunno if this really works. I hope this helps you at least a little.
  15. "Hands to yourself, sneak thief!" "Let me guess...someone stole your sweetroll" or take any other faction that treats you like dirt, I mean that would be okay if you would play a "bad" char. but when you try to play an honorable Nord... Seriously, that just breaks the whole experience.
  16. Thats an interesting idea. Actually I always feel so alone with the cold, it's like the npc just don't care about it. You could maybe add some animations to the different people or the guards. So when they have to watch the streets in the night they are freezing and shaking (like the one pilgrim near the first stonetablet) or just standing by the fire and warm up. It would bring more life into this mod.
  17. Hello! I've been thinking, there are some lore friendly armors out there on Nexus. But somehow I still think a lot of them are just "too much", so how about just recreating the original Skyrim armors? For example let's take the Stormcloak armor, or any Guard armor. I can see the armor has a chainmail, gambeson and the cape of the hold, ( or whatever this is), like stormcloaks have a blue one, Solitude guards have red ones etc.. I've never worked with nif scope or whatever you need to model the objects, so I've no idea if this is even possible. So just take "off" the cape and the gambeson and make it each an indepentent own a part of the armor or just the armor itself. You can wear the chainmail without the gambeson or the cape or if you want you can wear it all together and so on. It would give a lot of more opportunities to customize your character with only the vanilla armors. I suppose if you take away the cape you have to finish the rest of the armor yourself, so you would have a "start" of the gambeson and had to finish the rest yourself, same for the chainmail, there is even more work I think, am I right with this guess? A little example of what I want to tell you, here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35094/? The Aesir Armor by Omesean. It's a little bit too much for my taste, but still the idea is great! Hopefully someone can explain to me if this is possible and tell me, what do you think of this idea? Do you like it, what do you have in mind about this? And sorry if there is already a mod like that.
