  2. First thing I'd like to make clear, I'm not new to modding. I do encounter many problems however and I enjoy all the information you have given me. This is a Boss LOG yes because I prefer the way BOSS gives you a nice and quick log versus LooT (Was trying to make it a quick post. Was busy) I ran LOOT to organize his mods, I have wyre bash and Tes5edit. I didn't think about checking Wyrebash though, I hardly use it, mostly I use LooT to organize, Tes5edit to sometimes merge (rarely) and check any problems when I get a CTD on startup. Anyway, getting back on the real topic: I'll try some of the things you said gromulos, wyrebash all of that. If you'd like I'll edit my entry to provide a LooT log organizer so that people don't get things mistaken. Camaro, your correct with this being a boss log, soon I'll have it editted to a LooT organizer log but I don't really understand what your saying (however I only read your comment once.) I'll look it over again. *edit Camaro after re-reading your comment 1 time; I figured out what you meant. I have now changed the Log file to the LooT organizer, so any unrecognized plugins should also be listed. I believe the post reproccer patch was unrecognized in Boss.
  3. Hey, my brother was playing Skyrim and recently its been CTD and I assume it to be a mod problem. I looked over his mod list and didn't find anything off, hopefully the more intelligent minds of the Nexus can help solve this problem, and I say that because I posted this on steam and I got retarded responses 7/10 times. The below response was posted on steam; Here is the problem, up until recently he could play Skyrim without any problems save for a few script lags, or un rendered roads. But now the game is crashing everytime about 50% of his gameplay. I've noticed the crashing is more apparent in Whiterun than elsewhere, but mostly when he enter a load door, the game will crash and he has to reload, its very frustrating for him. His saves are clean, I haven't uninstalled any mods from them, (I handle his mods) save for some texture mods like amidianborn. The saves that are crashing have ONLY had texture mods removed from them, 1 time. here is his load order; any help is appreciated. I posted this for him because he doesn't have a nexus account, suffers from severe dyslexia so usually I'm helping him with writings, like this.
  4. My follower randomly became invulnerable while fighting a couple of bandits. I noticed his invulnerability when I was swarmed by 4 level 40 bandit marauders and left my follower for dead (knowing he wouldn't actually be killed just knocked down.) A little bit later I returned and seen him killing everyone slowly while they did no damage to him at all. After they were all dead I approached and tried to test an attack on him. He took some damage but then immediately healed. Then when I attack him he says repeatedly "What are you doing?" "I'm on your side." While no health is lost from his health bar. This again was realized randomly. I know he wasn't always like this but I don't know how long ago this invulnerability bug appeared on my character. Additional information: He is a costume follower I made simply by going into the creation kit and adding the factions required for him to be a follower. I've had him for about 2 months without this problem. I've tried reloading and I've tried disabling and enabling him + resurrecting him. edit* Scratch that, he is not the only one suffering from this invulnerability bug. Lydia, and any other follower is invulnerable. Can someone please help me? edit** Ok scratch this whole post. I did some tweaking and it turns out that it was AFT having complications with friendly fire being ignored. I must have hit him by mistake before combat started, he became invulnerable and then we went into battle. I fixed it by disabling AFT in game, saving, reloading, turning OFF ignore friendly fire in the tweak options/settings menu, then I hit him a few times. Once he left my services, I recruited him again and enabled ignore friendly fire and now he's back to normal, as are all my followers. BOSS load order;
  5. I'll keep this mod posted, but I was looking for a none modded way to fix it. Looking further into my problem though, I solved it. I restarted my computer, disabled a gaming program, and now all is good.
  6. Oh thank you! Looking in my meshes/auxbones/tail I found a few hkx files and removed them all. The tail stiffness is gone now. But I didn't remove any of the actual game data right? Just what a mod left over? And do I have to run FNIS again, or am I ok now?
  7. My Argonian's tail is stuck extended out, I don't know why but just recently this problem occurred. It was fine yesterday, then I added a few mods (like bigger tail) and eventually decided I didn't want it. So I reverted back to an older save before I had the tail replacer and I get the tail boner, if you will. I tried running FNIS cause I also added a few new animations that I removed, but that doesn't fix anything. All argonian tails are stiff and stuck. Even from earlier saves. BOSS Load order.
  8. I went to go play Skyrim today and when I scrolled my mouse over to look left, I'd seen the windows mouse appear. Mostly it only appears whenever the Skyrim cursor is present. And randomly my game will act as though I pressed alt + tab and close down to desktop. I don't know what is causing this can anyone help me? I've reloaded to a save prior to this problem, and it doesn't fix a thing. I don't think mods are responsible, I've already had them verified, and everything checks out. I think this is a computer related problem.
  9. Yes that's pretty close to my idea. Only thing is, it lacks the unique effect, like a unique Mercer Fray filled Soul gem could provide an additional 25% buff stronger then other grand soul gems when enchanting stealth gear. Fortify sneak from a filled grand soul gem with maxed out stats would give you 35% better sneak lets say, while a Mercer Fray soul would give you 45% to 50% with maxed out stats. a Jarl's soul could Fortify 1 handed, or two handed and speechcraft in the same way, just as Bandit bosses could prove grander then just plain old level 1 bandits, but not nearly as strong a buff if the soul were from a unique character, essentially the player would have to sacrifice a unique character for a huge buff in enchanting, this would be limited to the amount of Unique characters, unless someone resorted to cheating.
  10. Ah could you send me a link of the tutorial when its done, or you do one? (if you see this response) took me awhile to get back on-board these few days. I would like to add custom shouts but as I said, mostly I'm having trouble getting the game to recognize the words, like I wanted to add "Vo" Translated to "Undo" Now getting the words undo to appear is easy, however getting the dragon scratching above for the word in Dovahzul is not.
  11. I was playing Skyrim earlier today when I captured a unique characters soul using the Mace of Molag Baal. I then wondered if anyone had done a mod where unique souls that are captured are actually registered as unique, instead of saying: Filled with Greater soul, or Black soul, it would say: Filled with Mercer Fray's Soul or Jarl Balgruuf's soul. The soul could then be used to enchant a much more powerful piece of armor, or weaponry, since the soul filled within is unique unlike others, the soul of the emperor I can see being worth more energy then that of a beggar, and the soul of a master thief being better then that of a low life. Any thoughts, has this been done? If not I may try and do it myself but It'd take me a long while to do it.
  12. bump* Anyone? I'd like to make my own shouts but as far as tutorials in making new shouts from scratch, I can't find any.
  13. So I was playing Skyrim and got intrigued all over again about shouts and how they function. I went into the creation kit hoping to figure out how to make my own but I ran into a few questions I would like to help with. 1. How do I make specific words appears in the language of the Dovah? In a shout you will see the shout in dragon tongue, then translated right below. When I open the creation kit I see they are connected by means of WordFus for fus, but making a new one, does not allow me to attach a texture to it, has anyone dabbled with this before? 2. To what extent can I actually make new shouts? What limit and I held too using the creation kit? I've heard how in regards to making new shouts the ck is under developed in there area and not able to make new shouts without some hard coding program. Any other advise would also be helpful. I'd like to add more shouts where possible including unlocking some shouts that were fake or only used by npc's. I know some mods already do this, but also they add a ton more un-immersive shouts, or they do it slightly incorrectly. In my opinion though....I'd like to try and make shouts the way I have studied them, and know them for from my learning's of both the way of the voice, and the powerful dominate creatures of the sky.
  14. K, I already re-installed it without problems and so far no bugs are occurring. For anyone else who may stumble upon this post you can try to do as I did. You will find that the problem lies in the Marriage: To love & to hold mod. Try uninstalling it, and checking your spouse's dialogue. Worked for me.
  15. Ok I'm trying AFT again I didn't really debate the modders about which was better. Just asking about AFT they said "UFO is better, easier, and not so buggy." So I tested it, and I didn't encounter problems. I hate having to uninstall these mid game though. -.- I know its dangerous but I'm using the bloat cleaning to clean my saves, hopefully that helps prevent it from crashing with my uninstalled mods. Do you know if Bloat Save game cleaner prevents save corruption if I remove the scripts left behind on uninstall?
  16. I actually came to say I figured out what was causing the problem, but it isn't technically a fix to what I want. I figured out that Marriage to love & to hold was not exactly compatible with Hearthfire and thus causes problems when trying to move into a hearthfire home. The compatibility patch seems to cause errors if I have the Unofficial heartfire patch. So basically I just have to get rid of that mod, too bad though I liked its features, but its low ranking compared to my other mods. AS FOR AFT: I agree with you, it is superior, it allows you to do so much with followers but its way to buggy. I talked with some modders and they even said UFO is better cause its still being supported. AFT isn't updating, or fixing its bugs. When I had it, attempting to have two followers at once bugged the game SO MUCH, trying to dismiss follower 2 would dismiss follower 1 and vice versa, sometimes both. Telling my follower to wait would do nothing, they would follow me anyway. Telling to do something would somehow dismiss one of them, randomly. Combat was Buggy as my follower stood still while being burned by a dragon as he said "Need something?" While follower 2 ran into battle, only to die because it was an ancient dragon. So after looking up information I decided to scrap AFT as a potential mod unless it receives an update, or patch for the bugs. I'm assuming you use AFT? Have you encountered these bugs? Edit* I also see how some people say UFO is outdated so I don't very well know how too feel towards that, as the only bug I've encountered with it, is when telling a follower to relax, it could prove dangerous as they forget their original sandbox path. Edit** I'm going to try for AFT again though soon, I do miss its features, but I hated the bugs. If you have it and don't experience any bugs then it must have been a fluke of the moment what was happening to me...
  17. Sorry for double post but I figured the last one I didn't make so clear. Recently i built Lakeview Manor and tried to get my spouse "ShahVee" to move in. However she doesn't have an option to move into Lakeview, instead she only will move into her old home, or another home I bought, like Breezehome. I'm beginning to wonder if all the conditions for the dialogue are not being met, but I could use some help getting this fixed please. I'm going to be running some tests to fix it myself but really, if someone knows the issue can they please help me. Here is some information: I've built the entire Lakeview: Built beds for both me, my wife and the kids: Chest included: The children recognize the home: They move in, but not her: I have some mods for followers and have mode her a follower: She has been reset to her default AI: Boss Load order.
  18. bump* Anyone? I have successfully added all parts to my house. The exterior is finished, however I have not furnished the kitchen, storage, or front entrance of the house. There is a bed, childrens bed, and chests, but my wife does not have dialogue to even notice Lakeview even exists. I've tested and my children know about the home and move to the location: She will then randomly appear walking out of the home and head back to her old home. When asking her to move, she says "You wanna move, where?" and I'm kicked out of the dialogue. With no options...this is so frustrating, I've tried everything to get her to realize I have a home in Falkreath, but apparently, she went brain dead sometime ago...

I was working on Lakeview with another of my characters and finally finished a huge portion of it, I completely finished the bedroom aside from a few shelves, and asked my wife if we could move. My only option is "your old place suits us fine." The entire exterior is finished, I just haven't added the kitchen to the east wing is this a problem? I thought I could ask her to move somewhere else the second I had finished the bedroom. If this isn't a problem then Why don't I have the dialogue option to move into Lakeview manor? I have a few mods that add effects to marriage, and I'm also using UFO (Ultimate Follower Overhaul.) I fail to see how a follower mod could possibly be a problem in this situation but its one of the only mods I've recently installed. Here is my boss load order:
  20. I wish multiplayer was an option or even an unlockable option. Me and my bro both play Skyrim on separate Pc's and sometimes we like to "Pretend" as if we are passing by each other on our tasks or just plain out exploring. Sometimes we even try to make use of trading by using console commands, I pay a sum of gold for something he has, he gains gold, and I get the item. Almost like multiplayer, but I rarely do this as I still consider it cheating. I wouldn't like if it became invasive, but an esp where those who WANTED it would download it, so people like Dante would have no issue because they haven't downloaded the esp. Or simply if Bethesda made an expansion pack including Multiplayer but kept it limited to 4 players or 2 saying, play with A friend or A brother/sister. That way you wouldn't have to worry about multiple people joining, or attempting to invade your world. Sadly though Bethesda didn't implement this option into the game because of marketing reasons and because the engine would not support it. I'm almost positive though they could have done something to put a multiplayer feature in the game, but they can make more money if they don't. Using Elderscrolls online as this point of interest, they can successfully market a brand new game, make more money then they could on an old game, whilst still keeping players happy as it is not an indirect continuation of the series. This is one of the reasons the Skyrim Online project failed, I'd seen posts about them getting in trouble for "Trying" to build a multiplayer mod that would essentially ruin Bethesda as everyone would realize how much Skyrim outweighs ESO in popularity, thus the co-op skyrim online would be successful, Bethesda would lose money, they would profit, and that isn't acceptable, and not legal either I believe, so they took action and the project is dead as far as I know.
  21. lol, ok I've decided to just let Belethor be dead, it kinda adds for immersion to my gameplay. My follower was just trying to protect me when I first went werewolf and it took my character a little while to forgive him, but he just can't stay mad at my innocent follower XD I wish there was an immersive funeral mod though, I would have attended the funeral, also I wish there was an immersive arrest or something, so my follower would have to pay a fine, or I for him due to his crime for murder.
  22. Ok, right now I'm not wanting to get into creation kit, but I will indeed get to it soon. However, how would I put a debug message box into a scene? I haven't done something like that before, I've only delt with the right clicking, and adding an actor, packages, or dialogue, no scripting in a scene.
  23. Thank you for the post. I'll fill out your questions: 1. I only use forced ref, When I did use unique or something else with alias's it only glitched and didn't work correctly. 2. The actor i'm using is a one of a kind, duplicated her, made her named the same but with a 2 at the end of her ID. She is also ticked as unique. 3. Thanks for the help with dialogue but I understand how to work with that already. I've already set the conditions for stage must be 10 and only her saying it. =) I believe that was all you needed to know? The its frustrating how the scene is set up correctly (I've made a scene before) but it wont work! at this point I'm wondering if the npc, and markers are glitched, or broken and I should start the scene progress over from beginning. I actually did that though and even with another NPC the scene would not work. Here is the additional info: After failing to make Delphine act out her scene, I figured she was broken so I made a new npc and made a generic quest titled "SceneTest001" And had the first stage set to "Scene.start()" the scene was simply a walk script, however while in game, the npc would not act out the scene. The quest however did start, as I set objectives to make sure the stage was current.
  24. That is exactly what I assumed would happen if I had used the original Delphine. So i duplicated her, got rid of her scripts and ai packages, and named her "WARSQ101Delphine" Currently she also has a different voice type since the game had a problem registering new dialogues to the uniquevoiceDelphine file.
  25. Well good to see I am not the only one. Hopefully we can both get this solved, does anyone else know the cause of this problem?
