  1. Well currently I'm trying to get past the Walk in scene. Her scene is laid out like this. Phase 1 phase 2 Delphine speaks. Delphine travel toXmarker She isn't set to speak directly to the player with optional dialogues. No force greet, its just the general idle conversation you can expect. But I can't get too the dialogue part because first she has to walk to the Xmarker I placed for her.
  2. Thank god, someone who has at least tampered with scenes as well, lol too answer your question, it is not Start enabled. I have it set to run once by default, there is a box trigger you enter, before the player falls down after being shot with a poisonous arrow like in the thieves guild quest-line. Delphine then comes shortly there after, Currently for testing purposes I have her waiting in the room with no Ai-Packages. The stage 10 has these following scripts Delpinescene01.start()SetObjectiveDisplayed(10) (Objective: This stage is current, to confirm it has been reached.)
  3. I'm about ready to pull my hair out, I've been working for a long time on a mod and got to a scene where i want Delphine to enter the room and speak with you when positioned looking at you. I have a quest, complete with scripts. I have alias's and I know the quest functions correctly, but the Scene will not. The plan is for Delphine to enter the room, while your injured on the floor. She walks in front of you, and speaks with you before you get up and fast travel with her basically too heal. However, the scene wont activate. I have her listed in the scene, I have her package to move and talk I have her own unique voice type (but unvoiced right now its just empty mic static.) And the script to begin the scene once the quest reaches stage 10. (this quest connects with another quest to begin it.) Anyway, I know the quest isn't having a problem is alias's because I put up test objectives to see if the stage was being reached. It is, the only thing failing to work is the scene. Please. someone help!
  4. I need help getting Ysolda to leave, is my main point. Belethor can come back easily but Ysolda wont return to her normal ai when he was alive.
  5. So I came back to Whiterun after being teleported to the silverhand base after my first werewolf transformation. Only thing different though, Belethor is long dead, coffin in hall of the dead already, and Ysolda replacing him. Turns out my follwer killed him while I was away. Anyway, I could use some help getting him back without reloading a previous save as I didn't return to Whiterun for quite some time, EXPECTING everything to be normal. I've already followed this out prid 0001A672" "moveto player" "enable" "resurrect" "addtofaction 51596 1" "addtofaction 51599 1" but Ysolda remains at the store and his coffin remains inside the Hall of the dead. Anything I can do to reverse everything of Belethor's death so that its like nothing ever happened?
  6. I was playing Skyrim and I went to Legendary mode because it was getting a little too easy inside a dwemer dungeon. I was traveling with a follower and we came to the boss battle long story short, I died in 1 hit, and my follower was used as a punching bag next time around. I wanted to ask if there was any tune ups that could be performed on an npc or follower. a tune-up that would make them suffer like the player does. I believe the difficulty works like this in skyrim. Based on the setting, it will change the amount of damage you do to NPC's and the amount of Damage NPC's do to you. Novice 50% extra player damage, 50% less npc damage Legendary 90% Less player damage 100% more NPC damage. But when I take a follower in, he doesn't receive the same penalties because he is an NPC, so he only gets the damage boost on the player only right? I've noticed that my follower will do more damage to me and receive less damage from me, but will not suffer any penalties against other creatures: like boss battles K.O me with light armor, but he can take 20+ power hits no problem. Any suggestions, or advice? I want to keep the follower, as for role play reasons but I want him to suffer like me when I'm hit by a power attack from a boss.
  7. I don't think the Terabyte is a problem, at this point I would suggest its likely to be a mod related issue only. If when you reach the Delphine (Cure her, I hate her) and the problem continues, then I'd suggest you try testing with all mods off, just as a test though, make a new game without mods and console command your way to the locations and speed through it all. If the problem doesn't persist without mods, then its a mod related problem for sure. If it continues even without mods, them I'm stumped. Something you can do, I don't know if you already use this- but try downloading Loot -> http://loot.github.io/ its a free mod organizer program that organizes your mods effectively. I have it myself, its safe I assure you, I rate it 10/10. Try running that program when installed and it'll help manager your mods as well as give you some possible errors if there is any, and suggestions in case you need another mod. Again I don't know if you have this or not, so I'm acting as though you don't have it. Let me know if things brighten up in your gameplay. =)
  8. No I believe you when you say what your seeing. Just I'm surprised your CPU is so low when playing Skyrim. I'm sorry but I have no other information to give you aside from trying that program mod I gave you. Once you get that installed you should try and take a screenshot while in game and post it. It could perhaps sense something your computer is not fully aware of? Try the monitor mod, and post a screen shot. Here is a helpful tip though: To take a screenshot of anything currently on your desktop press the Print screen button on your keyboard. It may also be written as Prnt, scrn button. Then open a paint program, and click paste somewhere in the edit tool. Your screenshot will be posted in the program, then click save and your done.
  9. sounds nice. Now all I need is to work on is disabling my mote with a spell and re-enabling it with a spell so that I can get rid of him when I'm annoyed with it following me. It shouldn't be hard, I've had experience with disabling before, but this would probably be the first time I add a brand new spell with this function. I'll test out your script shortly, thanks for posting.
  10. Well ideally I wanted to make a brand new Mote so I wouldn't have too mess with the quest data these were already attached too. So making an entirely new mote, and copying their script but erasing the end stage 50 should basically do the trick. I'll look into it spawning in a different cell whilst getting rid of the old, that appears to be more tricky. Thanks for the response. If anyone else has some pointers, or a script that may function more appropriately, please post below. =)
  11. I was replaying the Yngol burrow quest with another character, and I remember that I always did like those little hopping souls and how they would gather around me following me till the end. I then was curious how they functioned and went into the creation kit to delve a little deeper. I'll tell you something else I had planned, I wanted to see about having one follow me outside the dungeon rather intentional or my character taking it by force. Anyway I went into the creation kit and if you yet to know what I am talking about its this little soul right here. http://i62.tinypic.com/voloc7.png Now, my question is this. I'm going to be looking into the scripting, but with some other modders advice, how would I go about making this thing follow me when I want it too? The plan is to use an empty black soul gem to seal away one by use of a mod created spell (Seal soul orb.) Which will seal an orb inside an empty black soul IF it exists in your inventory. Unseal soul orb would set it free and by default it would follow you around. So I want some help or suggestions with a script that detects if this soul orb is nearby, and it selects 1 only. Then it transfers, or disables that orb when you cast seal soul orb and removes the empty black soul and replaces it with filled. Unseal would undo this effect and make the little ball follow you by default until cast again. If the soul gem is used while the orb is in it, then you would be unable to unseal it because its lost to the soul cairn. Thanks in advance too whomever lists their script suggestion, you guys and gals are a lot of help here on the Nexus and I really appreciate the help I get here.
  12. I get the feeling you had the game paused, or in the startup menu when in game. When you checked your CPU, was Skyrim running in the background? Were you outside whiterun's gates for example? Interior spaces use less resources then exteriors, so to get the severity of your CPU, we would have to see what your CPU is during gameplay when outside an exterior. I'm sorry if this still doesn't help at all. Skyrim SHOULD take up at least 60% or more, that's why its recommended to have a duel core, or quad core CPU when playing the game, so you have extra space for the game itself. Note: Here, try this download http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6491/? it'll check your stats when in game. You should be able to see something. After installing the above program, take a screenshot of your stats and post them here. The stats should appear while in game if you did everything correctly. Unfortunately there is nothing else I can do for you. Once I see the stats from directly in game, perhaps I can suggest a solution. Otherwise I've not much else to say, sorry I cannot be of more help.
  13. Yeah I figured it could also be the GPU or memory blocks filling up. But I was kinda surprised that it would fill up or overheat with just 1 more mod added...well scratch that, 1 big mod. I disabled some of his mods to try and make space but it still crashes once in awhile with the Realistic lights Overhaul. I'm not using an ENB, but I do have the lastest SKSE, I do not know if I have memory management functions enabled. How do I do this?
  14. Well not exactly. It should help, especially if your game is overclocking your CPU. Try deactivating those three packs and see if you see an improvement. If not, start the game in windowed mode and load up your save. Then press Ctrl Shift Esc at the same time. This will open your task manager. Navigate to Performance and check your CPU usage. If its at 100% then that's kinda a problem. After that, go to processes, still located in the task manager. Look for what is using the most CPU follow by what follows after. If you have too many processes running while playing Skyrim, it can cause severe lag. The game needs to be un-paused when you are in task manager in order to see the proper CPU usage while in game. I hope I've been able to explain this clearly.
  15. Anyone? This is odd behavior as any new mod added to my brothers mod list basically causes a crash. It doesn't just happen on one save, but with another play on an entirely different save file.
  16. My idea from what you described is a case of severe script lag in game. In order for the game to function, or progress from stage 1, to stage 2, a script is called upon to advance the quest. However, if your CPU is overclocked, the game waits for space to be available in order to execute the file. In layman's terms: If your CPU is 100% Skyrim will wait till your CPU is 99% so that it can execute that 1% script to advance the quest. I have some script lag and my CPU is at 99% or 90% sometimes overclocking at 100%. But its not so severe in game as your event. Something that I would advise is to try seeing how much CPU Skyrim is taking to run, in order to see this you have to open the task manager in your computer, check your CPU and see how high it is, then go to processes and see WHAT is taking up that much space. You have to do this while in game, so its advised to open the task manager when playing in windowed mode, otherwise the game may freeze and lag up, not giving you a correct visual of your cpu. The game needs to be unpaused when you look at your CPU. Here is a little tip though, these HighResTexturePack01.espHighResTexturePack02.espHighResTexturePack03.espeat up a lot of RAM or VAR I believe is what it was called. I used to have severe script lag until I turned this off. Also anything that adds to many scripting events can cause script lag, since the game has to wait for available space.
  17. I'm going to guess and say that its just your Graphics card is low end compared to whats recommended. I know from personal experience that my brother had a similar issue which was fixed by upgrading to a better Graphics card (GPU). Here's a tip as well, NEVER Edit your ini files unless you know what your doing, the ini files are very delicate and even the most advanced modders would ask you to stay away from them. Try uninstalling Skyrim, and re-installing Skyrim. If you have edited your ini files I would strongly recommend reverting back to default by doing the above suggestion. You may even have to delete your ini's so they can re-generate with the fresh install. (Keep back ups just in case) Otherwise if the problem persists with a fresher install, then I can only say it has to be the graphics card, upgrade to a better graphics card, or look for a mod that may reduce shadows in some way.
  18. Your welcome! Glad I could be of service. I've had a lot of Save Related problems on Skyrim, so much that its irritating. -.-* But with that comes experience on how to fix them, have a good game BlazedBulet.
  19. So your saying you uninstalled the whole game and re-installed it and the problem still persists? Did you try starting a new game after uninstalling and re-installing? Could be attached to your save-file and you have to start over. Honestly never seen where it stays even after a complete wipe.
  20. Hello, my brother and I both play Skyrim and recently HIS gameplay has gotten buggy. He has many mods, and most of which I have installed for him since I have a huge experience with modding, and how to safely install mods. Anyway, recently his game has been buggy, crashing to Desktop for no apparent reason if you add just 1 more mod to his list. Recently the mods I've added to his gameplay which are crashing his save is immersive armors, and Realistic Lighting Overhaul. I assumed this was because of his specs, but given that his specs and my specs are so close to each other, I didn't think this was the cause. (I have the mods with no problem and he has them with problems.) I'll post his load order please check it and see if anything is out of the ordinary I'd like to make mention that his problem also seems to occur when installing extra graphic based mods like amidianborn landscape, weapons, armor, uniques. Just adding 1 will cause his game too CTD Randomly, no telling when it will happen. Thanks to anyone who looks into this. Note: I'd like to mention that while I installed his mods for him, I haven't really gotten the chance to fully overlook his Load order, I've used Boss and LOOT to arrange them, from what I can see- nothing is incompatible with each other.
  21. Ok, thank you again for your continued help. I'll be testing it soon, been busy these few days. I'll let you know once I've tested it.
  22. ok finally got around to testing it. Now he wont die, plus I had to fix the time variable output. You had it set as SitTime = 5 not SitTime == 5. I have to say I thought this would be much more simpler lol I'll continue to mess around with the script and see if I can get it to work, unless you want to give it another go. Thanks for helping.
  23. The first script kills him, but when the actor2 is no longer on the chair- he still dies anyway. I tried messing around with it myself adding a bool completed = false and completed stage but It just made him die the second the chair was activated. Script 2 doesn't work at all.
  24. An object like a chair, or lay target, something that is constantly in use until you manually stop using it.
  25. Hello, I have fun just messing around with scripts on skyrim's creation kit and apply certain aspects to my own mods sometimes. But I was delving into some Skyrim exploits and wondered how I can do the following script A script where Actor 1 is alive and well, but if actor 2 begins using an object, after a select amount of time actor 1 will die. However, is actor 2 stops using the object, actor 1 will be fine as the script would cancel itself out. So I guess the simplest way to ask would be: How would I make a script that kills an actor after a select time when in use? And when its no longer in use- the script cancels.
