Would this do? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71464/ or this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61430
-
Maybe so. I'm actually impressed while alive he killed ANY vampires with his bare hands. I mainly wish since he's a character from a book, he was a little more unique
-
Morvath seems to just be a random leveled vampire. Last time I killed him, he was lightning throwing mage, before that a sword and board guy ( which is closer at least) Maikng him the unarmed guy he was in the book would be cool or is unarmed just too bad in Skyrim?

How does Armor Rating/Damage Resist work on NPCS?
steamteck replied to Hatsodoom's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Sorry didn't cognate I guess. Well, it does work in my game. I've actually done a hit and check thing adjusting it. Maybe check your mods. Wish I had a definitive answer for you. -
That would be pretty cool but The one I want to see is the leader of the forged in a swordfight with you. He goes on about his cool sword and how strong he is then orders his men to shoot you.

How does Armor Rating/Damage Resist work on NPCS?
steamteck replied to Hatsodoom's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Ok, very roughly, because I don't want to post a lot of math and you cam look it up for the PC. NPCs armor ( mainly because they can't improve it) does a little more than twice the base protection the PCs armor does. If you find the armor formula online the PC has an armor factor of .12 . I believe ( but could be off) that the NPCs armor factor is .25. In any event, yes it does them good. The console command "getav damageresist " will give you their armor rating if you're curious -
Skyband seems to work really well for me. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/90687?tab=files

Why Ulfric's "Fair Combat" Excuse Doesn't Matter
steamteck replied to stebbinsd's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
The funny thing is most my characters who would tend to want to join Ulfric , being the dragonborn, know in their hearts with him using the voice, it wasn't a fair fight anymore than fireballing him would be. duels are not regular combat. After reading "Orsinium and the Orcs" it galls them the Orcs dueling tradition seems so much more honorable and fair than the one presented by Ulfric. My less "true Nord" types aren't as obsessed on personal bravery and honor in combat so they would care a bit less.. I rarely do the Civil War anyway though. More to the point, there is a very solid argument in your video. -
I, however, am not. I've always found it strange how Television, Movies, Literature, Art and even Music have long been platforms for exploring, expressing and confronting real-world social and political ideas... And yet most people seem to think the same has no place in video games. Humans are political creatures, it's how we organize, how we interact, how we self identify. it's integration is the highest expression of any art. And yet, it has no place in gaming? Hah! We NEED more real world political and religious issues in games. We need more analogues for real-world problems. And we can't be afraid to go there, because of moronic consumers who think they can avoid the single most important influence in their lives, or fascist ideologues who can't tolerate the idea of someone differing in opinion. Honestly, I think at present time we're oversaturated with politics in all entertainment. Clumsy and blunt ones mostly that destroy story integrity. Some games may invite it I suppose but in general not my cup of tea, especially since its so badly done mostly these days. I go to entertainment to escape that s***.

How many hours have you logged with Skyrim?
steamteck replied to Kanori24's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I've logged 5557 hours but I played at least the first year always offline. Retired life of leisure plus a widower gives me lots of free time -
I can't imagine switching over when most of my favorite mods don't even have an equivalent myself. I spent years building my ideal Skyrim and feel no need to recreate the wheel. Just starting out maybe SE not having your game already modded to the nines but I'm good.

I am always puzzled how you even know they're being attacked.

I'm going to have to try, at least, Better Locational Damage next time I play. Take a look at Arbitration , Advanced AI Tweaks , or Immersive Fallout. I haven't used any of them, but they all claim to make the enemy AI more tactical. Pack Attack is also is also quite good https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30140

No I like the "l the create your own story" aspect through smaller more personal stories . Not a fan of their main quests as much. I would be fine with no main quest and would prefer one like in Morrowind where I could delay indefinitely if i wanted.

Can I install Hearthfires and then ignore it completely?`
steamteck replied to kevkiev's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I love Elianora's work but Breezehome fully upgradable has always been more my style. -
No NPC humans. I'll definitely pass.
-
No online for me. I just don't enjoy it. Single player at my own pace heavily modded is my ideal.
-
Wouldn't mind that either. Does make sense.

Why do people still mod Skyrim and not SkyrimSE?
steamteck replied to WhoCaresomg74's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
As player, I've spent years developing my perfect mod combinations. Until SSE doesn't feel like a huge downgrade in content and functionality, its Oldrim for me. -
I would love a dodge mod. TK dodge in Skyrim made combat so much more fun. In FO3 there was an animation mod which changed your sideways jump with gun out to a sideways roll. That would certainly even work.

Why are modded guns so OP?
steamteck replied to ThatKidWhoDoesStuff's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Bad answer. All he's asking is they properly fit with the rest of the game. No crime there. Folks think what they made is cool ( and are usually right) and want people to use them so they overpower them is my guess.
