i absolutely DO have ASIS. not SkyRe though. im also getting GIGANTIC amounts of errors from Armed to the Teeth, which nobody else seems to be experiencing. it looks like a really messy script is at work. yeah definitely get rid of Crimson Tide. hasnt been updated in months, and its messy scripts are pretty notorious right now for causing Freezes and CTDs.

its not from a trader. if you look on the corner of the room, the reactor will be there with a book describing how to make the spells. failing in that, you can add with the console. if you do that and the spells dont work, then id try uninstalling.

ok, ill try the world orphans thing. ive ben using wrye bash since morrowind! =D EDIT: Traceback (most recent call last): File "bash\basher", line 15406, in Execute KeyError: 'CELL' this happens when i try to remove world orphans. EDIT 2: mod checker says: Mods that need cleaning with TES4Edit Following mods have identical to master (ITM) records, deleted records (UDR), or other issues that should be fixed with TES4Edit. Use Wrye Bash (Skyrim) to remove world orphans. please explain that statement in more detail. how do i do that?

the Crimson Tide site seems to have given us the answer. that it causes "game-breaking freezing" is well known there, and unaddressed. i have uninstalled it, and voila! those hideous and notorious "zblood" and "zgore" scripts are gone! hopefully this will reduce the crashing/freezing, as weve positively identified zbloodnpc as one of the major problem causers. sad to see a cool blood mod go, but if the scripts are THIS messy, it shouldnt be up. edit: im still getting tons and tons of errors in python about that damn script, but they;re just warnings now that it cant find it, which i prefer. however, is that ever going to stop? is that going to cause problems? and how do i fix that?

PLEASE tell me this isnt the only answer. the new beta doesnt give increased spawns. so if this is the answer, ASIS is getting uninstalled. it doesnt do the single thing i want it to do. Ive seen you on several other error threads Elizinator, what you need to do it post your most recent papyrus log and/or do a complete re-install of Skyrim and all of your mods. I would also suggest reading up on how to properly mod your game and watching Gopher's series of videos on how to do so to prevent you issues from occurring. the thing is, my issues arent recurring. i get new ones, but the old ones go away. i *did* make a new install, and it fixed a lot. but with it, i installed the beta ASIS 1.33-2, which caused EXACTLY the error described above. it does not generate a papyrus log. it generates no log whatsoever. right now, its just about the only problem im having. EDIT: found the answer! this happens when ASIS.esp is trying to combine some mods that are duplicates of one another. in my case, i accidentally had all of the MoM esps active! -
im looking for a mod that provides increased spawns that is *NOT* ASIS, as ASIS is not working very well for many players, me included.

Thanks for the help I have a feeling that the Combat scripts are from SkyRe Still getting crashes I will try on a clean save im not using SkyRe, and im finding its probably not a combat script because, at least for me, its not the same things that trigger it. basically its this: 1: often in exterior zones. NEVER in interior zones that i can recall. 2: from all types of enemies. bandits, dragons, trolls, bears, from SkyMoMod or vanilla. 3: a fight that causes a crash once might not after a load. 4: some zones do seem to have a "permanent" crash-cause, until it resets. 5: the freeze is utterly unprecedented. no loss of FPS, no stuttering, just BOOM frozen. crashes - which i never had before today, but have had several times just before big fights begin - are the same. 6: if it doesnt happen right at the first instant of the fight, it probably wont happen at all. basically, once the red dots appear, thats when its going to freeze. interesting thing: i used a texture optimizer, and when i restored the baskup, the crashes because much less frequent, but the crashes began. still less often that previous. EDIT: im not using Deadly Combat, but i am using Duel - Combat Realism EDIT 2: this problem has become worse with every attempted fix, such that i cant walk 20 feet without freezing right now. my game is unplayable, whereas earlier today i played for hours without a freeze or a crash. This precisely sums up my issues, especially #5. I use NMM, Boss, I have compressed texture file sizes (as per STEP instructions), optimized my video processing, updated my drivers, defragged my hard drive, and reinstalled Skyrim and all my mods 3 times. I will be playing, wanting to have a great time, but every few minutes I'll tap F5 to save because I know that any second, the game will freeze. I don't have an error log to post (how can I create one?) but my experience is the same. theres an .INI setting you can add somewhere - instructions are earlier in this thread, which i followed - which enables python error logging. then, as also earlier described, it will make a file. i have no idea what it means, but some people who read this forum do xD forgive me, but in a sense its good that you have this problem too. between the lot of us, we might be able to actually fix it!

what has worked best for me so far as fairly extreme: disable ALL mods. every single one. delete the scripts folder. delete any stray .ESP files. reinstall in sane order. this is a big problem for me, because i run eleventybillion (metric) mods, many with scripts. BOSS helps of course, but it doesnt recognise like 30%, because the developers are busy or something and havent been updating the list. but reinstall. after that, i started a new game. rather, i installed the most stable mods, then started a new game (it often crashed at character gen) before i had enough confidence to run an old save. it was a day old before one worked.others crashed instantly. since then, i have run from Wndhelm to Morvunskar, cleared it of the DOZENS of necromancers outside (with SkyMoMod+ASIS with huge values) and then fought a frustrating DD Arctic Dragon (and loaded a dozen times when i got 2-shot by its hideously overpowered aura attack) and have done all of these things without ANY crash caused by znpcblood or anything. i did NOT reinstall any blood-related mods, other than Bloody Facials and Crimson Tide. if this is the answer, i got lucky. it must be pure luck. dont know why this would work. as i hear that the scripts are saved in the save-games, if it were a script causing this, i ought to have the same problems. tentatively, i dont. interestingly, my NEW game runs at higher FPS than my old ones. i have checked, and seem to have no save bloat. they're all roughly the same size. hope this helps. i bet ill be back in a day or less. EDIT: first freeze, much later than expected. error log gives cryptic answer. deleted all Papyrus.X logs; will re-post after next crash EDIT 2&3: cannot post the log. i do not know how to put it into a "spoiler" button. also, the script causing present errors is one which, according to my research, is ONLY found in Dawngaurd, which i do not have, and occurs when i kill a certain creature. this suggests that the mod in question - which i believe to be a modifier of SkyMoMod - requires Dawnquard without saying that it does. id love to install dawnguard, but im terrified right now about what mod conflicts it will cause if i do. got enough problems for now =/ -
This caused the crashes in certain areas to stop except for when I come close to Whiterun. This crash is preceded by a massive drop in fps. other than the (redacted).esp, the only one i run is WATER. can that be the problem? BTW i get crashes around Whiterun WAY more often. not always preceded by an fps drop; usually not.

my game is now dead. even attempting to battle with the scripts has DESTROYED my game. loading a save is possible, but if i move, i CTD. "coc qasmoke" is instant CTD. cleansaves are impossible. my character is dead, and my game perhaps permanently injured, and i still dont know WHY. whatever caused this will simply cause it again. skyrim is one of the worst games ever made. this all comes from the TERRIBLE behaviour of saves preserving scripts. that function alone can easily make the game unplayable, unless played in its original incomplete form. for a game series legendarily devoted to modability, this is a failure of the most severe kind. -
how does one get that nice, formatted papyrus log? mine is a gigantic wall of text with no breaks, so its difficult to interpret.

i dont even know how to check EDIT: found it. yeah, zbloodnpc errors were the LAST thing before the freeze! that must be it! so now what do we do about it? xD

The lines were present, but the first crashed didn't give me any log. Now logs are being correctly generated. I will post the next log when I crash. I'll try disabling SkyMoMod, will report soon. so where do i find these logs? im having this same problem and i might be able to help. -
Thanks for the help I have a feeling that the Combat scripts are from SkyRe Still getting crashes I will try on a clean save im not using SkyRe, and im finding its probably not a combat script because, at least for me, its not the same things that trigger it. basically its this: 1: often in exterior zones. NEVER in interior zones that i can recall. 2: from all types of enemies. bandits, dragons, trolls, bears, from SkyMoMod or vanilla. 3: a fight that causes a crash once might not after a load. 4: some zones do seem to have a "permanent" crash-cause, until it resets. 5: the freeze is utterly unprecedented. no loss of FPS, no stuttering, just BOOM frozen. crashes - which i never had before today, but have had several times just before big fights begin - are the same. 6: if it doesnt happen right at the first instant of the fight, it probably wont happen at all. basically, once the red dots appear, thats when its going to freeze. interesting thing: i used a texture optimizer, and when i restored the baskup, the crashes because much less frequent, but the crashes began. still less often that previous. EDIT: im not using Deadly Combat, but i am using Duel - Combat Realism EDIT 2: this problem has become worse with every attempted fix, such that i cant walk 20 feet without freezing right now. my game is unplayable, whereas earlier today i played for hours without a freeze or a crash.

im having this exact same issue. ive spent days rebuilding bashed patches, re-ordering mods, disabling, cleansaving, waiting 31 days in qasmoke, nothing works. help would be so nice . . .

right when the game came out, some of the first mods we saw were animations mods. one of them smoothed out the concentration spell aiming / turning animations. anyone know where that one went?

i had this exact problem. however, after removing Monster Wars, the game STILL freezes intermittently (15-20 mins on average) for apparently no reason when entering a new cell. and once it STARTS to freeze entering that cell, i will not be able to enter it again until the cell respawns.

tragic >_< as i play in 3rd person and frequently use nighteye (realistic lighting makes things dark) i didnt notice it, so the only saves that are not corrupted are way too old >_< ill try changing gender. will it reset the settings i have? i tried fast travel, and it didnt do squat >_< as far as aura whisper / kyne's peace, while it sounds plausible, and you seem very certain, i dont have any of those shouts unlocked. confusing! EDIT: well, ive tried it ten times or so. it isnt working for me, so i guess this bug is never going away. thanks for trying to help me. this is really frustrating for me. not know the cause is in some sense better than knowing it and being unable to change it. thanks for at least trying to help me out >_<
