  1. Crashes every time i switch to oblivion, have to say the "I wont whine" comment is somewhat patronising. The only other option would be to uninstall vortex since it happens immediately on launch preventing even changing to another game without clicking it.
  2. Have played through whole main quest and a couple of guilds with very few problems, good job
  3. And yet the first post does give an estimated public alpha release date, which by my reckoning would be between 10th July and 24th of September...
  4. In response to post #28964114. #28965359 is also a reply to the same post. all the pointless comments, might wanna change your name to ivory_troll ^^
  5. In response to post #28849249. don't even really need to install them, I just back up the nexus folder and the game folder, if you put them both back in same positions it continues to work perfectly. (I do the same to move them to a new pc or whatever).
  6. maybe in the next update have a check box "auto send death threats" just to save peoples time and protect keyboards from being damaged.
  7. In response to post #28823599. people would just click the button blindly and rage more when it downloaded updates that break peoples current saves :O
  8. In response to post #28838444. that's what I shall attempt to do when FO4 comes out ... well assuming beth don't have some super invasive restrict mod manager that must be used or your computer explodes
  9. In response to post #28825344. they did - click cancel and reinstall old version
  10. In response to post #28824789. they did - click cancel and reinstall old version
  11. In response to post #28824324. #28824749 is also a reply to the same post. its always worked fine for me using 1gb + files... except when I had 32 bit version of windows/nmm
  12. The other thing I note is, that while yes I accept there was a red warning in the install message, I can't remember what the last update I did looked like, so for all I remember there was a red warning in those too. (I am assuming there wasn't). Which is why I think people should have been forced to come to the nexus website to install the update or had some sort of window pop up that shouts "this may cause problems with your install" and a 30 second count down timer or some such. Versions that cause significant changes need something that alters the basic install method to prompt people to realise something is different. *obligatory raging message here*
  13. Not installing it myself I have no use for mod profiling, if I did I would already be using mod manager, I use nexus manager because its simple and doesn't have all the fancy stuff I don't want. I think it would have been a better idea to not allow it to be installed without visiting the website though, I normally just load nexus manager, download and install update. Its only because I saw version 0.60 and realised what it meant that I didn't. What is the planned time before 0.56.1 is no longer officially supported ? Also with profile backups what happens if modders delete there mods off nexus, would the backup allow these to be downloaded (which means modders may be unhappy) or would it mean it wouldn't be available (which means mod user still needs to keep copies of all mods) ?
